I requested an in home consultation and John Gary visited my home for an estimate. John did a good job of explaining my options, prices, process etc. I live in a townhouse community which has an HOA to work with, the team at Window world handled the paperwork and documents needed for approval. The order was placed and the windows and patio door were delivered earlier than expected. An install appointment was scheduled. The install went smooth, I will say the installers worked until 8:30 in the evening. I believe they may have under estimated the amount of time needed for the install. I would definitely recommend they arrive earlier moving forward. I was disappointed as screens came in damaged but were quickly fixed a few days later. There was a bit of a mess left outside as it was dark out when completed and I know the installers couldn't see the debris that was left outside. I was also disappointed to see that the windows were left with grime, caulk etc which needed to be cleaned afterwards. I was also not satisfied with the walk thru of the features of the windows, I did not know that the sliding window could actually be easily removed to clean them. All in all it was a good experience, the price was far less than Anderson and Pella. The warranty offered is very good. I am confident I made a good decision.

Then there's Mindy who is on top of contacting me and making sure there is communication and then Rob and his team of two other installers. The installers were extremely efficient and had window replacement to a science! They cleaned up after themselves and didn't make a mess! Started to get a bit cautious once I had to confirm the appointment I had just made in person over that guy's phone at the door with him. Then got another call the day after to confirm the visit again. Overkill to say the least and annoying. However, the worst was their onsite visit that never ended, was only meant to be an hour (but turned into 2.5 hrs) and was clearly meant to pressure homeowners to sign that day. I blame the corporate strategy, not the onsite messenger. "Huge" first time visit discount and the most unprofessional part of it all was the tactics: with every hesitation from our end, we got a discount. "Let me see if we can do better for you" and "we don't give out this discount anymore but I'm going to make an exception". They knocked off $16K in a few hours......RED FLAG to me. Lots of lines meant to trigger emotion of potential buyer: "may I speak candidly with you, you have an urgent need here" or "I want to say off the record that you cannot wait past July to fix this roof". I knew it was psychological games when, during the attic visit, I was told "sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you have some leaks", said to me as if my entire attic was moldy and destroyed. Lastly, the "this roof really needs to be fixed no later than this summer" turned into "ok, if you really want to wait until the fall, we can do that". To Power: if your strategy is obviously to go hard at potential clients to sign there and then, be upfront about it and take cues from the client when they are politely trying to tell you they are not ready. A $13K gap in pricing is too big: the goal is clearly to capture business fast through pressure tactics at the highest price. These tactics may work on an 82 year old lady but it was clear as day what the tactics were, and explaining your model of maximing time and materials doesn't make it any better. Come in, do a quick visit as promised, provide a quote and go. If your sign on the spot discount strategy works, great for you but maybe tell this to the person whose door you knocked on ahead of time so they know what they're in for.

In this case, I gave far too much. **5/9/26: UPDATE - SEE SCREENSHOT OF ILONA GUMENYUK'S 5/8/26 EMAIL CONFIRMING REGGIE ARRIVING TO DISTRIBUTE REFUNDS AND REPLACE MY SCREENS -- NONE OF WHICH HAPPENED. AND NOT A WORD FROM ANYONE.** I hired Reggie Villa / A&J Window and Glass to create custom window screens and a balcony screen solution for my apartment. Based on my recommendation, two neighbors also hired him and paid deposits as well. What followed was weeks of missed appointments, repeated promises to "check with the factory and call me back within the hour," long stretches of no communication, repeated promises that things would be ready "next week," and eventually requests for refunds that never materialized. As delays continued, Ilona Gumenyuk repeatedly communicated on the company's behalf regarding scheduling, refunds, and assurances that replacement materials and payments were forthcoming. When Reggie finally arrived to install my window screens, he showed up hours late with screens that were several inches too short and did not fit properly (see photo). Instead of acknowledging the issue, he attempted to explain the large visible gaps as intentional. One screen had to literally be hammered into place. Even after this, I still allowed myself to believe repeated assurances that properly fitted replacement screens and refunds were finally coming. They weren't. Since then, the two neighbors I referred have filed complaints with the Office of the New York State Attorney General Consumer Frauds Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, and local law enforcement. It is also worth noting that the company's Google Business Profile now appears as "Permanently Closed," despite the company continuing to communicate with customers and schedule supposed future work. As a result, customers can no longer post new Google reviews. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to read the prior detailed negative reviews carefully. I wish I had.
