While the plumber did offer a $100 discount this time, that is a standard coupon amount I likely could have found elsewhere. What is more frustrating is that I've gone above and beyond to prevent this: * I purchased their proprietary maintenance cleaner (at 3x the price of standard retail cleaners) and used it exactly as instructed. * As a two-family household, we are extremely cognizant of what goes down our drains. * We previously used them for a major sewer line repair--a nearly five-figure job--less than five years ago. I would expect that level of history and investment to place us in a "high-value client" bracket with better pricing protection. He comes back out a week later WHILE IM AT WORK and does it anyway. I am just sent an invoice. I did not approve of that work at all and then had a horrible experience trying to speak with anyone regarding the issue, none of them communicating to each other, and them threatening collections of I didn't pay. AND NOW, about a year later the line is clogged again and after sending a camera down it looks like it was never jetted at all. Was offered a discount on future service. An actual joke.
