He is completely on top of every detail of the project. We have never had a more responsive contractor. I can text him anytime and he immediately gets back to me. He sends photos of everything. For instance, he did our roof and it turned out the plywood under the shingles were not the right thickness and incredibly damaged. So, instead of having to take his word for it, as is the case with most contractors, he sent videos of what was up there so that I could decide what to do accordingly. There is no scope of work that he can't take on. For us, he renovated our family room, redid a bathroom, renovated a basement room, tiled our entry way, completely renovated a sunroom that had major water damage and mold, and gave us an new roof. And, he did all of that in 4 weeks, which is crazy fast! Tony can do anything! And I trust him completely because he is so conscientious, honest, and always does things the right way (absolutely no cutting corners). I can't speak highly enough of him. We are so happy to have met him! I already have many future projects in mind for him.

We had 3 roofs to be replaced, the main house, the standalone garage, and a flat roof, part of an extension to the house. The job was projected to take 2 days, but they finished in 1, promptly starting at 7:30 am and not leaving until 7 that night. Crews kept moving in and out all day to do different parts of the job. The first project, several years ago, involved painting multiple interior rooms and crown molding. Most recently, I hired them to paint three new structural porch columns and my front door. While that may sound like a straightforward job, it really wasn't. Black structural columns are not something you see every day, so preparation, product selection, and attention to detail were critical to getting the look I wanted and ensuring the finish would hold up to the elements. Bob came out to provide the estimate. He was professional, easy to work with, and, most importantly, took the time to listen to what I was trying to achieve and the concerns I had about the project. He was also able to get the work scheduled within the same week. I worked closely with Ron, who I believe was the lead painter on the job. He was incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. I supplied the INSL-X primer recommended for fiberglass columns and discussed paint options with him. He agreed with the approach and helped ensure the project was done the right way rather than just the fastest way. The work took two full days and exceeded my expectations. The crew took great care to protect my brand-new porch, covering the decking and railings thoroughly so there was no risk of paint getting where it didn't belong. What really stood out was the follow-up. Both Bob and Ron checked in independently after the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. They also made it clear that if any issues came up, they would come back and make it right. The pricing was fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. It's refreshing to work with a company that still takes pride in doing quality work and standing behind it. We needed major work done at our new house in Cranford. New kitchen, new master bathroom, install…read morenumerous recess lighting, removing old carpeting and refinishing hardwood floors underneath. Steve, the owner, was our project manager. At first, I was hesitant when I learned he sub-contracts most of the work. For our last house, we hired a contractor that did most of the work himself. We had issues back then with uneven tiles, cabinets not correctly aligned, bad grout work, leaky drains. Steve, on the other hand, brings in all professionals to do most the work. He manged the project and also did all the paperwork regarding permits. He has a portfolio of professional contractors that he brought in. Besides the typical plumber and electricians, there was a tile company, carpenter, sheetrock company, glass company, cabinet and trim company just to name a few. And most if not all of them are from neighboring towns like Westfield, Clark, Elizabeth, Union and Newark which helps with timing and staying on schedule. The work they perform were solid. No more leaky drains or uneven floors like our last house. We will not go back to a one person that does all-type of contractor from now on. It's much better working with specialist in their field. Regarding the kitchen reno, we had a wall removed between the kitchen and dining rooms. All new appliances, cabinets, countertops, new tiled flooring and backsplash, recess lighting, and added a 2nd mini kitchen sink. Also new under cabinet floor heating and a glass panel door leading to our basement that Steve recommended. For the master bath, we expanded the size of the corner shower by reducing the size of an adjoining closet, added new vanity, tiles, exhause fan and glass shower door. Steve is very detail orientated. He cares more about the final product rather than getting the job done quick and cheap. Our kitchen and master bath went from looking like 1970s to present day. We have no regrets with using Juzefyk Brothers construction and would highly recommend them to our friends and family.

Please note "Oh Michael helped us with our insurance claim" (but no real explanation of services provided) "Michael didnt damage anything" - Well, clearly you're covering up for something there! We are 8 months in and needed to call the police to document all the damage this company has done to our property. What started out as a $30k estimate for a kitchen renovation - is now at $80,000+. You want to know why? Michael will sell you a new kitchen, but it's all bait and switch. Once you think the project is paid for, you realize he may have charged you $5,000 for a new ceiling, but that was only the REMOVAL of the sheetrock - and now he wants another $5,000 to replace it! BBC's fees have been three times what we've been quoted elsewhere. We were told two old windows were a custom size, they needed to be special ordered - would take 5-7 weeks to come in and cost $4,700. Three days later we had a window company come by and say "No those aren't custom, we can have them here in 10 days" And what was the cost?? $1,700 - THREE THOUSAND less, for two windows!!?? Why was he charging us almost FIVE GRAND and LYING that they were special order??? We have had a plumber come and tell us the $1200 (3 ft) gas line they did was made from a bunch of pipe and fittings from Home Depot - they didn't even give us a nice continuous gas line. Everything needs to be redone!!! They show up one day a week, IF THAT. In 8 months, they have taken 114 (BUSINESS DAYS) OFF! So do the math, thats an average of 5-9 actually days of work PER MONTH. The final straw was Michael telling us unless we paid 90% of our final payment (when the work hasn't even been done and HE owes US money) that he would not be refinishing our floors that BBC DAMAGED!!!!! Please see these photos, they never covered our gorgeous original 1925 hardwood floors and dumped all their stuff on it without a care in the world! Throughout this entire process every time we would mention BBC to our close friends and family - they would be shocked and appalled at the kind of mess we were in.
