Good people, great service! When we moved into the area, some 30+ years ago, these guys re-keyed the locks at our home. Recently, one of the old locks broke and, even though parts for the lock were no longer available, the guys at B&B dug through their toolboxes and supplies, found a replacement part and repaired the lock at an unbelievable LOW price. My purse was stolen from my sister's car while I was in from out of town. I called another locksmith who quoted me a cheaper price than B&B so I thought I'd save some money and use the other business. I was stranded, couldn't pick up my kids or drive back home to Austin. The other locksmith said 60-90 min arrival time. After 2.5 hours and multiple calls where I was told to just wait around indefinitely, I decided not to give my business to Pop A Lock, and I called B&B. He said 20-30 mins and he would be here, and with 30 mins he arrived, on a Sunday afternoon. He was polite, got the work done, opened my car, made me 2 new keys and was also able to look up the master code for my door key pad so I could program that. Totally worth spending a little more money for a company that is reliable and doesn't leave you stranded someone for longer than necessary. As B&B was finishing up making my keys, the other locksmith called to tell me he'd be here in 30 mins. I laughed. read more

I recently used B & B for a residential lockout. B & B asked specific questions over the phone regarding the work to be done, gave an estimate & an ETA. The locksmith arrived on time. Although i had several unrelated mechanical issues with the front & back door locks, the locksmith was able to quickly resolve it & get me in. I just bought my house and wanted to rekey. When I called the guy (I believe Dave was his name) was very thorough and kind, letting me know exactly what to expect and how much things would cost. They were available immediately and anytime I wanted. Matt and Travis showed up to my house within 30 minutes, and I could not have been happier with their service: they were skilled, professional, and went well above and beyond what they were expected to. Having just bought the house, they gave me good advice on general security, helped me rotate the locks that we actually upside down (not that I would have ever known that), and even tightened some of the other knobs in my house that didn't even have locks...just to be thorough and helpful. When they suggested I eventually add a deadbolt to my garage-entrance door and why, I was sold on the idea but thought that would be another visit and would be something I would get around to. Instead, they said they could easily do it then and there and all of it was for a very reasonable price...especially considering how long they were in my house doing such a complete, thorough job. Went in for a 2nd key for my vehicle. I was told they could make me a key that would work (unlock door, start engine) and be coded for my vehicle but it wouldn't have the key fob with the buttons. I told them that was fine. $115 and 15 minutes later, I have a key that sets off the alarm everytime I use it. They claimed they told me that would happen (they did not). So now if I use my spare key, I'll be driving down the road with the horn honking to the alarm. read more

Great service, keys cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes, picked locks on bike rack I had lost key for. Very friendly & helpful.

They came out same day even though it was no rush. Fixed the lock and serviced the other doors that didn't have problems, just to make sure they were all working right. Couldn't have been better service!!!! 4-stars only because $98 was a lot & it could've been cheaper. He also gave me some advice on the quality of our locks, and it was not a sales pitch at all. Pretty lackluster help. Had a need for a lock to be opened or a key cut for it and got the feeling that there was no interest, particularly from the owner, to help out on what seemed to be an "unusual" problem. Clearly wanted me out of there. Had a key copied to make them feel better. read more

Great service and friendly folks as well! I took a Mopar locking gas cap in that they keyed to my Jeep ignition key, the work was done quickly, correctly, and at a reasonable price. I recently picked up an 80's vintage Honda Motorcycle with no keys. I removed one of the locks and brought it in to B&B Locksmith to see what they could do. They used the code on the back of the lock and within 15 minutes I had a key for my motorcycle! All for $25 bucks! I can't speak highly enough of this shop (I should note they mentioned this only works really well with Honda motorcycles) They also cut copy keys for 3 of my other motorcycle while I was at it, awesome shop with skilled professionals and excellent service!! read more

Fantastic service! They helped with a key fob to my car--saved me hundreds as opposed to what I had been quoted at a car dealership. The fob was a bit tricky to program but the employee diligently troubleshot the issue and persisted through to the end!! I can't say enough about the wonderful service here!!! read more

Don't call them. Guy that answered was very rude as if he felt bothered. Told him I just locked myself out of my home and I located in the Katy area... His response "a minimum of $150" .... Told him bye and that he was rude. My advice... Give the locksmiths your business that act like they want it and most of all professional. read more

I locked my keys in my car... and subsequently locked my 4 week old baby and I out of the car after her pediatrician visit. I called B&B locksmith and they pulled someone to come help me right away. They were there in 15 minutes and Keegan worked to get my door open so we could head home. He was polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. i took 2 locks to B&B Lock Smith on Mason RD Katy to rekey, they did rekey one worked fine and other did not, i tried it in the store the key did not work very well on the lock, the guy tired it again and it did work , i took it home installled the lock etc. and the same lock does not open any more, i called the store they want $89.00 to come and fix it, in the first place they did not keyed it right ,one lock opened fine and the other did not so i cannot take it back, called the owner RON 3 weeks in a row, always an excuse he is busy, or on vacation, what kind of business they run that they dont stand for their own companys workmanship, work ethics Sucks. they are cheating people...Stay away!, person on call on the weekend is arrogant and rude. read more
