We always opt for the light rail parking lot so our route is longer. The first thing I noticed about this one is that they do not have a designated small and large dog side like our regular park. Just one big open space. Fortunately all of the big dogs were well behaved and welcomed my sweet 14 lb Frenchie with open paws. The ground is mostly dirt and small patches of grass here and there. A lot of large rocks make great seating areas. On a sunny day, I didn't notice a lot of available shade. We brought our own water and bowl so I also don't know if any are provided. Overall this is a decent, fairly large dog park. Your dog just needs to feel up for walking a little before getting all it's zoomies and energy out off-leash. The keypad to get inside isn't as nice as the card scanner at our other park; I had to really be certain I was pressing the buttons down hard enough to accept the code.

The maps show roads that bring you closer, but I couldn't find them. Kind of annoying and definitely frustrating. Would love to meet up with the planner for this death course and express my appreciation for his zealous love of nature.

I taking her to Puppy Playtime which is indoors but it actually cost money and they only have it twice a month. I had searched online for about a week just reading the reviews and trying to find the perfect dog park. My boyfriend actually recommended this dog park. So we went today for the first time. I love it!! It is so fun. It's completely fenced in they have separation for small dogs and older dogs big dogs. They got buckets of water. It's free entry. Everyone seem to pay attention to their dog and things got out of hand they reacted quickly. Bring your dog by

Apparently no children under the age of eight are allowed, although I did see a toddler in there. Your dog must wear a Baltimore city registration tag as well as their rabies tag which I can guarantee most of the dogs in there did not have on. Dogs must be over four months old to enter the dog park and if they're over nine months, they need to be neutered or spayed. I did not see any aggressive dogs. The other thing is they do not allow you to bring your own toys. There are water fountains for the dogs. There's also only street parking.

Your pups feel like running with other pups on a caged environment?!? Well then this is your place!…read moreThey have the standard big dog side and little dog side, and open space in both settings. I do wish they had little set ups for stuff for the dogs to do but not all wishes are granted. I normally always bring my dogs bowls for water just for safety reasons but they do have water bowls there for the pups. When we showed up there were only 2 big dogs there. So my 4 little dogs were all on their own to play with each other. My 1 big dog was excited to see some new friends though! When I asked one of the guys that was there how is it normally, he stated that there's normally plenty of dogs. We were thinking because it was a little warmer outside people may not wanted to come. So hopefully next time we will run into more dogs! For the humans they have some chairs and a tarp covering a portion of the chairs so you can have some shade. There are also some poop bags on the fence in a pull out box. There is also trails you can walk outside of the dog park fence area. I will definitely be back with me pups!

The large dog park field is very patchy. There is some grass and some soil area all around. Towards the back of the dog park, the grass is very dead and long. A couple things I noticed: - People do not pick up after their dogs so there is a lot of poop around (be careful where you step). This was the biggest disappointment for me. - They do offer complimentary poop bags. - The trash can outside the dog park near the parking lot. - There is no water for the dogs unlike most dog parks. You need to bring your own.

Most patrons are friendly and respectful of dog park etiquette. I have never encountered a reckless owner or aggressive dog. There are benches and chairs and lots of trees that provide shade from the sun. There is a concrete pad with dog bowls and kiddie pools. The hose and small pool let's dogs cool off on hot days as well as shaded, grassy areas. I've seen nothing but respectful owners who are diligent about cleaning up their dogs waste and supervising their fur babies. On hot or dry days it can be a little dusty and if the hose and pool is full it can get a little muddy, so maybe bring a brush or towel if you don't want your seats dirty but I highly recommend it! Also it's usually best to wear shoes or pants that aren't your favorite as some dogs jump up to say hi with wet and dirty paws lol They even have a rack for you to hang your leash and things which is nice to be able to be hands free. It's a bit of a drive for us but with how exhausted he is when we go home it's so worth it!
