I found this dog park in my new area and thought I'd give it a try. I generally go to the Patterson Park dog park, but it's nice to have options. One the day I went there were 2 other dogs there. Off the bat, it's different to have dirt versus mulch or grass. It'll do as another option. Now that I think about it, I don't know if there was a water source. I'll check again when I go back. What I did like was the bucket of balls and a few of those throwers for all to use. I'll be back from time to time.

Good park. Lots of room. Nice people. Nice dogs. Good bar (lighthouse) next to it with dog friendly outside seating.

Many people complain the sandy surface makes their dogs dirty, but I find its so much better on their paws/joints than concrete like the Patterson dog park.

I had searched online for about a week just reading the reviews and trying to find the perfect dog park. My boyfriend actually recommended this dog park. So we went today for the first time. I love it!! It is so fun. It's completely fenced in they have separation for small dogs and older dogs big dogs. They got buckets of water. It's free entry. Apparently no children under the age of eight are allowed, although I did see a toddler in there. Your dog must wear a Baltimore city registration tag as well as their rabies tag which I can guarantee most of the dogs in there did not have on. Dogs must be over four months old to enter the dog park and if they're over nine months, they need to be neutered or spayed. I did not see any aggressive dogs. The other thing is they do not allow you to bring your own toys. There are water fountains for the dogs. There's also only street parking.
