Ordered a reg bcuz my waist size was in the middle of the range, but it was so tight I had to alter the waist band. I wanted to replace it, but they make you pay for shipping back AND new shipping for the new skirt bcuz they claim their sizing is very accurate and its the consumers fault if they order the wrong size. Quality is also an issue, i finally got to wear it out for the first time since buying it, and a button just fell off. So now after % $70 I had to pay $9 for new elastic to alter a waist band, and more time sewing on a button. I'm really dissapointed in the prices they charge vs the quality you get, and probably won't purchase again.

I came in here looking for gifts only to find disappointment. Being one of the anchor stores at the mall you would expect it to be packed with a lot of what you may need. I ended up walking around in here looking for a good amount of time. I was surprised that I did find some items. What was a bit off putting were the lines at the registers. That is when you could find a register that was open. When you did find a register that was open you had to wait in extremely long lines. I mean it's one thing to pick up an item in one department but have to traverse to a completely different department in the store to pay for that item. I will say, the service here from the staff was impeccable. The lady that helped me had just delt with three difficult customers when it was my turn. That didn't bother her, she was still a gem to deal with. She was chatty and had a happy demeanor. I would go back to just interact with her.

And that's basically how I feel about the Ann Taylor Factory store. I do feel that it's a little pricy for what it is (it's the Factory store...shouldn't it be priced lower then ATL?), but I do like that they have additional designs not seen at AT or ATL...and I love that they have a fairly decent petite section (yes I'm short, so shoot me, OK?)...but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

The sales associates were cheery and delightful, offering ideas and suggestions, helping shoppers make some very tough decisions ("Do I get this bag in every color, or should I get this one color in a different style?") and making the men in the store feel slightly less out of place (like my very patient boyfriend!). They walked around with cheat sheets to help customers get an idea of how much their purchases would cost, and they happily did dozens of price checks for customers, when asked. I was having a hard time finding the right bag for me. I was in the market for a black patent leather bag (which they didn't have), that I could comfortably carry on my shoulder and tuck underneath my arm, that I could both wear to work and dress up, and that had a full zip closure. Nothing I found seemed to be fitting the bill. One of the associates (I think my receipt said her name was La H.) stepped in to help me and nabbed my (almost) perfect bag on the first try. It wasn't patent leather, but it was still pretty damn fabulous. And when the whole store is on sale, you can't stop at just a hand bag... that would be rude. No, one must share the love. So, I picked up some accessories for myself and for a friend (also on deep discount!) and STILL walked out paying less than I would have paid, full price, just for the purse. That, ladies, is what I call a score!
