Extremely rude customer service at the store. She reiterated multiple times that I "understand what this means for the business," which felt unnecessarily intense and confrontational. I had no prior knowledge of any box, as the item was given to me already gift-wrapped. I calmly explained this, but was still made to repeat that I "understand" -- over and over -- in a way that felt accusatory and frankly demeaning. I understand that small businesses have return policies, and I respected that -- I came with a valid gift receipt and handled the interaction politely. The issue wasn't the policy, it was the way I was treated. I accepted the store credit, but I left the store with a strong impression of how unpleasant the owner's behavior was. This feedback is not about the outcome -- it's about how a customer, especially a new mother, should never be spoken to that way. Good thing I did because it was basically what I was looking for. With a new niece expected I made sure that I stopped in to see what I could buy to spoil her before she arrived. I was greeted upon entry and asked if I needed any help. I declined as I wanted to browse. I was so happy that I did because I stumbled upon some amazing designs in here. I bought a dress in flannel print which kind of matches what dad usually wears. But the thing that I was super excited to come across was a dress. It was a dress that was similar to what her mother and aunt both wore in pictures when they were both babies. It was so similar when I sent a picture of it to my mom and sister they both encouraged me to purchase it. I did, of course, purchase it. Let me tell you how excited she was when and how she had to explain the meaning behind the dress to all that were present at the baby shower. I am really glad to have stumbled on this place.
