I arrived a little early and they were able to help me right away. The representative was simply amazing. Very thoughtful, did a great job listening to what I was looking for and helped me find what they had available in store. Unfortunately mine is a surprise event and we didn't have time to order in, but she let me know that was an option. Besides not having a huge selection in my plus size, it was a surprisingly positive experience. My only complaint is the dressing room had no bench, and so wasn't quite as accessible as I would have liked. But the assistance from the sales person definitely made up for that.

It needed a little alteration so we put it on hold as we looked into how/ if / when this could happen in the short week until the dance. I called about 2.5 hours later and the dress was gone. Even the bigger one was gone. The owner felt bad and made several calls trying to find a replacement and even made a special order to get another one shipped before prom. Bliss paid for shipping without having us pre- pay for the dress. The shipping cost and the rush on the alteration was a cost they were willing to eat to help my daughter get her favorite dress. If you like something here I say buy it right then and save yourself from suffering shopping overload. They will do right by you and help you find what you need. The owner refused to allow "the girls" to try on any dresses and called them liars because one of her employees put down the wrong information and stated that they were from out of town. They are all local Davis County adults. Maybe as a business owner, you should educate your employees on what your company policy is, so they can relay that information when setting appointments. The owner also stated, that every "girl" needs to have a parent there. Some people don't have the luxury of having parents or guardians available for these special events in their lives. Should they be penalized and discriminated against for this? This is 2022, close your doors, since there are so many other businesses that know how to treat paying customers. You should be ashamed that you run a business, that refuses and discriminates against legal adult women.

When I met with the planners at the church, they shared with me the Wedding Policy which included some tips for brides on modesty. In it, there were three websites for examples of modest wedding gowns, which I found very helpful. One of the websites was for Moments Made. I was surprised to see how many of the dresses I loved on their website! However, I was bummed to see they were not local to Arizona. But fortunately for me, I travel to Salt Lake City often for work and already had a trip planned there. I was SO excited to book an evening appointment at Moments Made while I was there for work. I went in on a Tuesday evening and pretty much had the entire place to myself. My consultant, Amber, was SO helpful. She made me feel like a princess, ensured she had a grasp of what I was looking for. And luckily, I had already obsessed over the website enough where I had about 8 dresses picked out. We tried on many of them and (as I'm sure happens with most brides), the one I thought would be the top contender wasn't really jiving with me. Towards the end of my appt, I was torn between two dresses. Amber was patient with me and allowed me to try both on again and spend quite a bit of time in each. She even dressed me up with a veil, had me hold flowers, put on jewelry, etc. It really helped to be able to see the whole look come together. What I appreciate most is how thoughtful she was in helping me narrow it down. She could tell I was very torn and I didn't have any family or friends present with me to help make the decision. She asked me "What do you NOT like about each dress?" I told her for Dress #1, I didn't like that it was sparkly and it was a bit too heavy. For Dress #2, I told her that I didn't like that it was V-Neck (I wanted sweetheart) and I wanted it to have a tad fuller of a skirt for an A-line dress. Very quickly, she was able to show me that Dress #2 could be altered to make it sweetheart and also add layers underneath to make it a fuller skirt. On the contrary, it would be pretty impossible to remove the sparkles off of Dress #1. And just like that, I had my answer and was able to to say "yes" to the dress! Amber also helped me to try to find a local seamstress in Arizona (I ended up going with someone else, but still appreciated her going out of her way). She also picked out a veil and earrings for me that looked really nice. I figured "Oh well I'll buy them and probably end up getting something else later on." But sure enough, those were the earrings I ended up wearing on my wedding day! I also got a store credit for buying the dress and was able to buy some nice sweaters while I was in store as well. Surprisingly, as someone who is very fickle (especially with fashion), I am shocked to say that I purchased my dress in October, got married in June and NEVER once did I waver on purchasing this dress. It was so perfect for me and I got so many compliments on it. I look back at the pictures now and feel like it is a timeless, classic dress. I felt so beautiful in it and am very grateful to Amber for helping me narrow down the perfect dress for my big day!

I still remember my frustration that day, like it was yesterday. I went with my daughter to pick out the dress for her big day. This was our first stop and we had another appointment at one other dress shop the same day. My daughter pretty much knew the style she was looking for. She was looking for one with a short lace bell sleeve which they had none. The consultant constantly said that each dress could be altered no problem with a bell sleeve. After trying on about six dresses, my daughter found a dress that she really liked, except without the sleeve. Not until this time does the consultant THEN let us know that their alterations is booked out over a month past my daughter's wedding, but they could give her a list of recommended seamstresses. It wasn't until I asked the consultant if we could please have her hold it for a few hours that the high pressure SALES TACTICS came out. She said that all the shops carried 70% of the same dresses and why would she continue when she found the dress she liked. She pushed it enough for my daughter to give in. You might say her tactics definitely worked for a young woman who was tired of trying on wedding dresses. They then had my daughter sign a paper stating she is aware that there is a "NO RETURN" CLAUSE. Soon after I left, I had regrets for not leaving the shop for just a little time to make a better decision. I am mainly writing this for other first-time bridal dress shoppers to BE BETTER PREPARED for a SALES TACTIC move followed up with a "NO RETURN" CLAUSE. Come prepared. We did not anticipate this. You don't want to feel forced to make a rash decision when it is an expensive purchase for such a special day.

But look, I'm certain they COULD have worked with me. They chose not to. Men's Wearhouse had no problems with me and everything went fine with them. Short yes. Unique situation yes.
