We have so much good to say about this store! My daughter took it upon herself to go shopping for a prom dress alone, since the mom was down sick. Payton and her mom took care of my daughter from the moment she walked in until the moment she walked out with a dress in hand! Even though there were two other girls trying on dresses, they personally took care of her and really listened to what my daughter had to say. They even took the extra mile in customer care and made a house call to show the mom how to tie up the dress! Though the store was busy with a quinceañera fitting and two wedding gown fittings going on all at the same time, the staff really made each lady in there feel like they were the only one and that they were the most important! Decided to make a day trip to SLC after not being able to find the "right" dress in Boise, ID. Hit the big malls with no luck. Spirits were low with my twin 17yr olds. Did a search for formal dresses on the route back to Boise. Stumbled across Just Girl Stuff. So glad I did. We walked in the door and were helped as soon as we entered. The staff asked what they were looking for (style). Next thing I know they both had 5-6 dresses picked out and were headed to the dressing rooms. My girls were not alone. They had a helper. Zipping, tying, adjusting. Excellent staff. There were 12-15 people in there at the time, trying on dresses. Everyone has their own helper. Very impressive operation. Y'all made my girls day. I went for a bridal appointment with Stephanie (I believe that was her name) and she was wonderful picking dresses that flattered me and listened to me to help me find a great dress. Although I didn't end up purchasing a dress the staff was so helpful and took my dress measurements for free and recommended a local seamstress to help with the alteration process. read more

I was very impressed with the staff today. Because of their policy about not selling the same dress to more than one girl per school, my daughter didn't end up buying anything - the two dresses that she wanted were already purchased by someone at her school. My daughter was super heartbroken, and I truly appreciated how apologetic the staff was. It made it easier to be more understanding of the policy. The staff tried their best to find her other options. It was like she was shopping with her big sisters. Your store is amazing! Great customer service! I ordered our daughters prom dress here (well before the prom, thank goodness), I live out of state but we had tried it on at a local bride shop. So the dress was shipped, the first one shipped the beads were falling apart, and the back was clearly stretched out, meaning worn. I had to pay to ship the damaged dress back and was never reimbursed for that extra expense, it was very stressful getting the replacement dress on time as they seemed to have forgotten about our order, so glad I called several times to follow up. Luckily we were organized and had time to deal with their delays since picked and ordered the dress long before prom. Sadly we could have ordered locally, but wanted to give a Utah business the sale. The dress was beautiful, but I feel like I paid full price for a used dress and then to get a actual new dress I had to pay even more to return it. The whole situation was disappointing. Staff was nice, but efficient and reliable for me is more important on a time sensative purchase. I can't imagine having this sort of stress and frustration for a wedding. read more

This place is way overpriced & doesn't have a cute enough selection to carry the attitude that they do. don't go here unless u want to be judged and belittled. i didn't walk in with a rich presence or a parent to look like that we can buy anything but i said i didn't have a budget. as i was looking around, i picked up a nice ball gown, the owner lady looks me up and down and says that's like 500+ dollars, the cheaper stuff is on the side wall. (i was wearing baggy thrifted clothes). once i had a selection of dresses from all different styles, i go to try them on and she looks at the dress i have and looks at me up and down AGAIN touches my waste and examines me and says "you're a size 4? this fits like a size 2" and walked away with the dress in hand. like don't tell me that i'm not going to fit in a dress!! let me find out for myself! i ended up feeling self conscious for the rest of the time. i continued trying on dresses and felt extremely unwelcome. i can't even describe the looks/ passive aggressive tone that i got there. if u want a nice dress, you can find the same dresses online, look at their designers and go to their websites. save the trouble. or even go somewhere else like dillards. they have a way cuter, updated selection that's in style and not borderline 2013. go anywhere but here. read more

I called a month after we ordered the first on now to find out there were never ordered grr! Then they call me to tell me the dresses are out of stock!!!!!! F***!!! This store has a wonderful selection but the staff is awful! We bought a dress there that was $250 and they did help us find it and were helpful but when it came to the financial part, everything went downhill. They marked the dress down for us so it was $200 and that persuaded us to buy the dress. However, it also needed alterations ($30) and a slip ($25) which put it back at $250. We figured it was worth it, bought the dress, and made an appointment for alterations. Just now we went to pick it up and the cashier tells us that it will be $60. This is not what we had agreed. We agreed on half that for just some sleeves. Come to find out, the extra $50 we paid at the beginning was just for the slip (they lied about it's price) and alterations were actually going to be an additional $60, twice what they told us because of the rush fee. Which they also did not tell us about. But the worst part of all is that THEY DID NOT CARE. They didn't try to do a single thing to fix it. It wouldn't have been that much of an issue if they had tried to fix this and give us a refund or something but they don't do refunds and they seemed completely unwilling to give us any of our money back for the mistakes they made! After a bunch of arguing we finally managed to get $25 back but that's it. I would not recommend shopping at this store. Especially when so much money is on the line. And if you do, ask lots of questions and make sure you know exactly what you are paying for and how much your paying for it. And get it in writing! Or else the conniving thieves will suck you dry of every cent you have. And they won't have a single regret about it either. read more

Very rude employees. Avoid the sales woman "Lorrie" she made many comments during our visit, about my daughters body-type. She snatched a dress right out of her hands and said "no no no that won't fit you." And proceeded to bring her dresses that were way too large for her and that she couldn't feel confident in. She was near tears in the dressing room and the sales woman continued to insult her, making remarks about her size and saying "she's just mad at me because she has big boobs!" This woman should not be allowed to work in place that's crawling with teenaged girls, who are just trying to feel beautiful for a special night. Let alone,the establishment didn't even have a very good selection of dresses, most of them were very out of date and wouldn't appeal to most teenagers anyway. We later made a visit to Dillard's where we found at least a dozen dresses that made her feel good about herself for even less money! Avoid "Just Girl Stuff" at all costs. read more
