We did not like the expectation of the company that we would leave a side gate open for them on service days or provide a key. There was little to no communication about the work being done or what would be necessary for the pool. They were very communicative and timely around asking for payment at the end of the month. They wrote all over our system in sharpie, and regularly failed to communicate between technicians, so we were answering the same questions over and over. Rates were competitive, but the value did not equate to the provided service or lack of communication--around service times, maintenance, and the services themselves. The technicians changed frequently, and we were often left feeling like we were added to a schedule as opposed to a regular weekly customer. Given everything, we will be seeking alternative options for this season.

He provided us a with a viable solution and quote to fiberglass our 40-year-old plaster pool. It should be noted that SBPFR quoted against six other pool repair providers. Our decision to select SBPFR was based on numerous criteria, and they were judged to be the best option. We were right and delighted with this selection! Demolition work began on time, including draining the pool, covering our gazebo to minimize dust and removal of all the old tile. Leading up to the beginning and during the entire project, Miguel kept us up to date with the progress--excellent and timely communications all along the way. The entire project from draining the pool, to all the fiberglass and tile refinishing work took exactly one week plus one day, from start to a full pool. Also included in the project was 'new' pool startup services. We are fully satisfied and delighted with our 'new' pool and relationship with SBPFR! Sub contracting everything out which makes for plenty of weird third party communications about when people were going to be here and it always seemed like no one knew when exactly. they'd make promises that never really materialized, and some of these sub contractors were good, some were just kinda meh. ultimately the job got done in a timely fashion, the pool works, but the finish work was off in a few areas, and I tried to keep them accountable and on top of the things we saw that were just sort of ok during the process and it was always yeah for sure we'll get to that, they'd always miss something. well, I've been asking for a light to get fixed that was put in really poorly, 1 out of 8 and the rest are good. also we've been waiting for some general grout cleanup and finishing and I was originally told by Ryan that they'd get right on it. lots of texts that things would be taken care of and now they've just sort of ghosted me after telling me they'd get right on these last few very small things.
