We recently hired Aldan Construction & Remodeling to completely resurface our pool with a pebble finish, and the results exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, they were professional, communicative, and clearly skilled in their craft. Their scope of work was extensive: they redid all of the pool plumbing, installed a new pool light, added grounding copper wires for safety, and upgraded our pool pump. Additionally, they addressed permit requirements by replacing our side gates, which shows how thorough and compliant they are with local codes. One of the biggest transformations was removing all the old concrete around the pool and replacing it with beautiful pavers--this alone gave our backyard a whole new look. Everything turned out amazing and the attention to detail really shows. We're thrilled with the final product and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do pool work or general outdoor renovations. Great crew, great work! read more

From March through May 2025, Aldan Construction replastered our salt water pool with 3 coats of plaster, installed new waterline tiles, removed calcium from existing wall tiles surrounding the pool, & installed a new pool handrail. Their team (Leo, Daniel, & Al) was outstanding in their customer service & work. They communicated regularly & quickly in updating us on the next steps of our project. They met us at a tile shop to help us select the new waterline tiles. They always asked if we had any questions or concerns. They responded immediately with positive results. I recently hired Aldan Construction to install concrete walkways in front and around my house. The work performed is high quality and met my expectations, the stone walkway was beautifully done. Daniel is GREAT to work with and his crew did a professional job. I look forward to working with Aldan Construction for additional planned work. read more

Daniel, Timo, and Leo did a great job with our backyard landscaping and pool addition. We got multiple quotes and went with Aldan because although they were not the cheapest, they seemed the most knowledgeable and detail oriented. They were within the ballpark of the other quotes that came in under, and we felt it was worth the $ to go with them and were not disappointed. They were very attentive and had great communication every step of the way. They pushed hard to get our permits approved by the city during a covid backlog, and did not try to get a price increase out of us even though construction material costs increased greatly between the time we got the initial bid and started the project. They were also super helpful when it came to picking out the finishes. We love our new pool and will definitely use Aldan again in the future for any home improvement projects! read more

We used Aldan a while ago for our pool remodel. They did an okay job but there were also several issues along the way that required call-backs afterwards. What I was most appalled by is that at the end of the job they want me to sign a document saying I'm satisfied and that therefore I'm not allowed to take any action that negatively influences Aldan, presumably like leaving a negative review. It goes without saying I would never sign a document with that clause, so I can say whatever I want. But it does make you wonder whether the high ratings on Yelp are a result of people feeling like they'll be sued if they give their honest opinion of the company. For that reason alone I would never use this company again. read more

We hired Aldan for our pool and landscaping project, and we are extremely pleased with the results. As with any big project there were challenges along the way such as atmospheric rivers that arrived early and dumped unprecedented rainfall right before the plaster was to be poured. As soon as the rain subsided, Aldan fixed up the damage and completed the project as promised. Even after nearly a year since completion, they remain easily accessible and promptly address any questions or concerns that arise. read more

After getting a few Estimates on redoing my pool and pavers and converting my pool to salt water I decided on Aldan. See photos below. Very happy with them, started a little bumpy because of my lack of knowledge on how the process works but they assured me it would be done by the deadline that they proposed. Sometimes I would look outside and say "no way" is this going to ever get done then somehow it all came together and we are very happy with the results AND the cost of course. I usually don't recommend contractors because if anything goes south they will of course blame me, but I can say you will not be disappointed if you use them. Between Timothy my foremen to Al in the office they always answer the phone or text and address any issues that might come about. read more

Aldan Construction is THE BEST. When my husband and I decided to completely gut our backyard we interviewed more than a handful of contractors and in meeting Leo and team from day one there were not only transparent and kind but trustworthy. We gave them multiple pictures/visions as to how we wanted the backyard to look and the final product looked identical to what our initial ask was. What was once a shed and grass filled backyard is now a pool and beautiful outdoor grill and island. They hustled to stay on the timeline that we had hoped for, they made sure to find ways we could save money here and there while not losing the beautiful aesthetic we wanted. I cannot say enough positive things about their team, quality of work and overall experience. read more

We worked with Leo from Aldan to get a great quote for the final part of our exterior upgrade. The quote was quick, easy and very reasonable. Leo was able to get us scheduled quickly. The crew knew exactly what they were supposed to do upon arrival. There was a miscommunication with the type of pavers that we wanted in a certain area and the work was taking place over a Jewish holiday. Despite the company closure, Al responded to my desperate and panicked voicemail and took care of everything!! He was super helpful and patient. Overall it was a great experience compared to what we previously went through with another contractor. Aldan came towards the end of the company's work, fully completed their work and we are still not finished with the previous company! I would use them again and would definitely recommend them! read more

Aldan Construction & Remodeling - Pool at night - General Contractors Near Me - Beverly Hills, California

My girlfriend and I hired Aldan Construction to help with the replacing our rotting wood patio that in the backyard to pavers. Timothy, who was our project manager, was very helpful and courteous from the beginning. Very transparent about what they were going to do, what kind of pavers and even recommended paving the planters as well, which turned out beautifully. From beginning till end, there was very clear and constant communication. Al from Aldan even came down to look at the sight before everything started to make sure that the scope of worked planned out aligned with what he was looking at. They were also very quick to help resolve an issue with the bank and kept me updated about the situation which was solely my fault to begin with. The patio turned out beautifully, more than what we imagined and we were very happy with how it turned out. Overall, we would recommend anyone looking to hire them as I believe their professionalism and how they kept constant communication about work and timelines would be very assuring to anyone looking to hire them, especially new home owners like us! read more

In building my new 35 x 12 foot patio, I had a terrific experience with Aldan construction. I bid the job to 4 contractors and not only were they the most reasonable, but Leo helped me further save money by choosing excellent but less expensive pavers. He met me at the paver store and within 4 days the patio was finished and gorgeous. Leo was fantastic and kept checking to make sure the project went well, , the workers weere respectful and skilled, and everyone went above and beyond. I highly recommend Aldan due to their integrity, spreed, pricing and abundance of good cheer. I have built a lot of projects and remodels and wish I had used Aldan! I recently had a pool and backyard project done by Aldon Construction and I love it and working with them was a fantastic experience. Al and his entire crew are top notch. The help my wife and I got from Leo and Niko when bidding on the project and having out vision come together to the rest of the crew throughout the project was an awesome experience. I especially want to thank Niko for always making himself available and answering all my questions and getting me help when he didn't have the answers right away. He was an awesome project manager and a great person to work with. My project was very large and the had to start from scratch as my yard when I purchased the house was beyond bad with weeds taller than me, dirt instead of sod, debris and neglect everywhere. Now my yard is beautiful with new lawn, pavers, and a beautiful pool to make all come together and feel like I'm at a resort in my own backyard. We had some delay issues mainly because of the amount of rain we received this year but overall I would highly recommend Aldan construction to anyone looking to complete a pool or a backyard make over. I looked around and got several quotes from other people but both Leo and Niko made me fill comfortable and trust them with such a big and expensive project. Even after my project has been done I still reach out to Niko and Al for questions and help and they are just as helpful as before the project was complete. Again, thank you to Aldan and the entire crew that help my family get the backyard of our dreams. I want to say it was a pleasure working with Al, Niko, Leo, Daniel, Nahum, and I'm sure a bunch of other people I'm missing out with such a big project. Thanks again Aldan Construction!!!! I'm attaching pictures of my project but trust me when I say pictures do not do it justice!! read more

Leo, Daniel, Al and their teams did a wonderful job. Each of their teams performed admirably; they were timely, focused, and prepared and delivered as promised. Aldan was professional, meticulous, and safe considering Covid was spreading when we first started with the construction. My wife and I appreciated Daniel's attention to detail, and we love the end result. We had 2 bathrooms gutted and remodeled, Copper piping installed, master bedroom, walk-in closet, living room and Kitchen painted. recessed lighting installed in both bathrooms, walk-in closet, kitchen, and living room. Outside, they changed our old breaker box, painted the exterior, installed seamless gutters, removed the dated 60's rock siding, and changed the garage door. Beautiful. I'm sure I've missed a few things as they did so much to transform our home. Thank you Daniel and Leo for helping transform our house into something we're proud of. read more

Would absolutely recommend and happily use them for a future project. Thanks Leo for amazing job. Pool has never looked better. read more

Aldan Construction & Remodeling - Pool - General Contractors Near Me - Beverly Hills, California

We hired Aldan Construction to build us our new pool. We are always diligent about contractors we choose so we sought out several estimates before we chose Aldan. Two reasons we chose Aldan over all others - Leo the salesperson and the price. Leo's customer service and presentation was top-notch and the price was about right for our budget. Throughout the project, Aldan Construction made sure we were always informed of where we were at in the very-involved process that comes with building a pool (permits, excavation, rebar, Gunite, plaster, etc), not to mention all of the required inspections. There were some minor hiccups here and there when it came to daily site cleanup or staying on top of the subcontractor work to make sure it is being done as expected, but those were some bumps in the road we expected with this type of 6-8 month project. Overall, we are very satisfied with our beautiful new pool and would happily recommend Aldan Construction to anyone else. We even added to our project along the way because we wanted hard landscaping around our pool to finish the look and Aldan also helped us with adding our courtyard pavers and sitting wall as well. Thank you Aldan Construction. read more

Just finished a successful project with Aldan Construction. We built a new fence on our back yard and it looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Aldan Construction, both Daniel and Al were a pleasure to deal with, very professional, knowledgeable and responsive, answering phone calls and texts almost immediately. The most important thing - they said it will be done in a week and it was! Even though we have encountered few hiccups on the way (had to cut down a tree and look for additional lumber) Aldan still delivered! The team is extremely nice and tidy, the backyard was left in a great shape (no mess). Good job! read more

Our home needed lots of work! A new driveway, a new retaining wall, a path around the house, and new patio surfacing. Thankfully, we found Timo, with Aldan Construction. Timo and his team were able to address what we needed, and then some. Full of great ideas, Timo and the team at Aldan gave us a short time frame for the job required, and stuck to it. They have vastly improved our home's exterior, making it beautiful and modern. They went above and beyond to make us happy, and the job they did was excellent. Aldan replastered our pool which was 30 years old and in great need of it. We interviewed four contractors that were recommended. All seemed good and Aldan was the high bidder, though only by a small margin. We were very favorably impressed with Leo, so we went with Aldan. And I am glad we did. The project went very smoothly and on schedule. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. The crews were friendly, respectful, clean and highly skilled at their craft. There were some choices that we needed to make and we found Leo's advise very helpful. He recommended we go with micro pebbles, which we did, and it looks great! The project was completed on time and with no cost overruns. I cannot recommend Aldan highly enough. read more

Leo, Al, and Daniel made the vision for my pool a reality. The process from beginning to end went smoothly, from the pricing discussions, to the beginning consultation with the various contractors.... all through execution and to the final inspection. Leo provided some great ideas at the start and I appreciate his professional opinion. Al and Daniel helped me through a few small challenges that arose and were quick with finding solutions. The tradesmen were respectful of the property and always left a tidy worksite (as best they could, all things considering). Most notable were the open lines of communication. During the entire job, we were in a group chat so I was part of the updates with job progress, tradesmen scheduling, and upcoming inspections so I was always aware what was going on. If I had any questions or concerns they were all just a phone call away. I plan on adding an ADU/poolhouse and would love to use them in the future considering this positive experience. They're such a great team! read more

Aldan construction did a fabulous job with our driveway. Our old driveway was buckling due to massive tree roots. Leo, the project manager, provided a great solution of using pavers as opposed to replacing the concrete. This will provide a longer lasting, easier to maintain driveway. He gave us a fair price and was able to start the next day. The Aldan crew came in early in the morning, was extremely organized and knew exactly what to do. They had the old concrete driveway removed and the surface prepared for the pavers on the first day! They were neat, cleaned after themselves, and made sure the streets was passable. They only required a second day to finish the job. The driveway looks great! I highly recommend using Aldan. read more

This is a review of their communication and business management. We did not choose them for our pool installation. I was appalled at the multiple sexist and misogynistic quotes by the two guys who came out to consult on this potential job. The number of times they would wink and grin at my boyfriend about me "saving him money" after they'd ask us to make a decision on materials was shocking. Little did they know I was going to be the one paying for the pool. Here's a tip: It's not smart business to make sexist jokes toward the person who was going to be paying for the work. read more
