We have a very large (90lbs) well-behaved 2 year old black lab, and while we have been very happy with our prior brick and mortar grooming experiences in the valley, due to presumed staff changes and shortages we have been finding it increasingly difficult to get him to the groomer at convenient times and have had variable results in quality of the groom. We figured we would try our luck with mobile grooming, and boy are we happy that we did! We had such a wonderful and easy grooming experience with Nicole and AZ Mobile Spaws. While the cost is slightly higher, we found the convenience, quality, and service well worth the slight increase in price. Our dog looked so handsome for the upcoming Christmas holiday. I've been using Az Mobile Spaws for at least a year or so now. I really appreciate the convenience of a mobile groomer. My only task is to plan on being home and they handle the rest. I have a big dog and its nice that the commute is literally just me walking him outside. The additional benefit is the passion that their groomers have for pets. My dog McLaren is old. He's struggling to walk and it was hard to get him inside the grooming truck. This wasn't their fault. It would have been so much easier to recommend I take him somewhere or that they reschedule for when he might have a better day, but she didn't do that. She helped my husband get him inside. She was patient, kind and very understanding. When you're leaving your beloved pet with someone, that's the exact care and compassion you'd want them to display. They did a superb job with my two babies.They were able to give my fringe papi a good defurring as she is shedding so badly due to the heat. I wish I had known sooner! My Standard Poodle is 11 and large grooming facilities with doggy day care are too tiring for him. Yvonne arrived on time with her pick up with the grooming trailer in tow and got to work. In the small world category, she had groomed my dog several times at his previous groomers. This was my dogs first professional groom and I wasn't disappointed. The groomer Elizabeth was on time, very courteous and listened to what I wanted and the cut looked great! I was hesitant at first to go through with it because my dog doesn't do well around strangers but she said he was good, giving lots of treats (asked prior of course) , and kisses. This groomer text me because of my inqure. On her price list a full size Whippet was $75 to groom. I have a whippet mix and he's only 14lbs. She wouldn't back down the charge even when I said my only income was SSDI. She's hard nose and doesn't care. Unless you're rich I don't recommend this grooming service. read more

I made an appointment 2 months ago (possibly longer) for mobile pet grooming. The appointment was confirmed last week, and 30mins before service, I received a text message stating that they were no longer able to perform the service. I attempted to contact the company 3 times then received a call back from a Jeremy who had a nasty attitude. He stated there was nothing he could do and if I expect him to get a "person off the street" to do the grooming. He offered to reschedule me for 12/26/18 and when I said that's not acceptable because it's too far ahead, I planned to have her grooming done this week, he said then I can go to Petco. I asked if I can be rescheduled for tomorrow which I think is a reasonable timeframe and he responded, "where do I expect him to find a groomer for tomorrow". I explained that I made the appointment 2months ago and took the morning off work to be available to which he responded that MY attitude was unacceptable and that I haven't prepaid for the service so I had no right to complain. Just beware when using this service to have a backup plan because they may not show up. *****Edit After Jeremy's response 12/17/2018***** I find it beyond reprehensible that you are now LYING about attempting to contact me. I received NO email this morning. You sent me 1 text to cancel and after I tried multiple times to reach you, I received a call back where your attitude was nonchalant and nasty. And I received NO calls after our discussion this morning that you're claiming are "going unanswered". (I'm happy to post my call log next!) She took her time (very important) and all three were groomed as I instructed and looked better than they ever have. There were no nicks or sore paw pads. They were very soft and beautiful. I have a dog with anxiety. I communicated this to the company at the onset. They took me on as a client and for a long time I had a great tech who praised my dog and he did a wonderful job. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well this service worked and was willing to pay for it given how relaxed she was not having to go in the car to a groomer. Unfortunately our awesome groomer quit and the company scheduled several other techs for us over a period over several months. The quality and service went down. And some services just weren't performed. When I called to explain I didn't want to pay for full service when only partial services were performed My request fell into the abyss. So I wrote to let them know I was switching groomers because of the lack of service and communication. I was shocked to get an email from the owner telling me they had "issues noted in their system" and that no one was willing to come out to finish the job. Issues??? They have notes of issues and no one bothered to call me and tell me? Just continue to put me on the schedule and do half the job and charge me full price? I have issues with that. read more

We had a great experience with Ryan and wholeheartedly recommend him and this company. The booking was easy, the price comparable to what I pay when I bring her to a groomer, and it was so much less stressful for her. I was able to go into the truck with her to get her settled and talk with him about what kind of cut I wanted and he offered great suggestions and advice and is clearly knowledgeable about dogs. Her cut looks great and I was happy that it was quicker for her than when I bring her to a place and she has to wait in a cage with other dogs around, which stresses her out. Great groomer and great equipment. Horrible business practices, horrible website and the owner has horrible people skills. The groomer we had been using changed companies and started working for this company. We left a voice mail for the company to call us so we could make an appointment and after 2 days with out a call back we went on line and scheduled an appointment. Several days later we t get a call from the owner stating that they do not service Chandler. When we tried to point out that on the scheduling page of there website it states "Please be sure to indicate which part of the Valley you are in, (East - Scottsdale/Phoenix east of I-17; South East - Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert; or West - West of I-17)," his response was that is why we should have looked at the contact area of his website because there is a map that CLEARLY shows that they do not cover Chandler. He could not answer us when we asked why would anyone click on contact if they are scheduling a appointment and following his website directions on how to schedule an appointment. He very reluctantly agreed to honor the appointment but informed us that it was one time only. Over a week later the website is unchanged if you look at there services and scheduling from that page they still claim that they service Chandler, Gilbert and Mesa yet they do not. read more

THE WORST customer service, Rude and unaccommodating. The initial groomer they sent just up and quit one day (which I had multiple appointments already scheduled with) and they weren't able to get another groomer lined up for me for over a month which was not the best because i had to reschedule each appointment, but not too much trouble...the dogs got used to the new girl they sent and were comfortable with her. then I had to cancel ONE of my appointments because they had called me saying they were going to be 45 min late. And that wasn't going to work for my schedule. The person on the phone was rude, snarky, wouldn't let me get off the phone, and not even my typical groomer. A few days after my cancellation which i paid 50% of normal grooming price for (and told them I would pay full price) I get a text saying we need to discuss why the cancellation happened and that it just "simply can never happen again", I explained to him that the 45 min delay wouldn't work for me and that my dogs didn't know this knew groomer they were sending and I didn't feel comfortable with that as my dogs can be weird with people they don't know. This was all over text, not even a call, followed by more rude and condescending texts from the owner. I was absolutely shocked. One text said there is always an hour "cushion" time for them to be late to appointments, and that they expect the owner to be home for the duration of each grooming and I should have known that. This was NEVER communicated to me. And to me defeats the purpose of having a mobile pet spa come to your house, I work 8am- 6pm and I am not available for them being over an hour late and to sit in my house for 3 hours while they bath the dogs. They are opposite of convenient and I was literally disgusted with the service from the owner Jeremy. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone, It has been horrible working with them. read more

AZ Mobile Spaws groomed our three dogs recently. All three look great. Our dogs were not a fan of the trailer however - especially our girl that is a little skittish of vehicles (probably should have thought of that) but that was not their fault. Overall the groomer was very friendly - and successfully got out some matting in our larger dog that we had been fighting for a bit, and provided some good advice on how to better control his undercoat to avoid matting even with his habit of rolling around in grass and mud (which should also tell you the difficult job handed to this groomer). Unfortunately that same dog loves to be dirty and has promptly worked on renewing his stink, but it was nice while it lasted. Also, she did such a good job with the mats that we should be able to handle giving him a bath in between without much trouble. We would use them again. They are a bit more pricey but they come to you and are captive with just your dogs for hours, so when you break it down it works out. I would give 4 1/2 stars. read more

Great groomers!!! Why??? Well my Bichon Sheldon has had serious anxiety when getting dropped off at the corporate (Both Petco & Petsmart) groomers, he would go into a 2-3 Day depression upon returning back home. We wrote about this during our description of our dog when making the appointment online. Upon arriving Yvonne addressed this, explained why this was happening, and let us know to avoid this in the future she wouldn't do anything the dog wasn't comfortable with, which as a pup parent I appreciated. She made an introduction until Sheldon & I felt comfortable before I walked him to the truck. We checked up during and he was very comfortable. She even apologized for having to muzzle him for a few short moments during (because of his aggressive behavior which I've experienced as well). He came back clean & happy as a clam. This was our second appointment with AZ Mobile Spaws, first with Yvonne. The website is great and very easy to use. I received a confirmation via text a few days before the appointment and then Yvonne called to let me know when she was on the way. She was very professional, patient and friendly. I have a nine year old English bulldog who hates dryers (Yvonne towel dried her head) and having her nails trimmed. I also have a lot of children and a hectic schedule so getting to regular grooming appointments is nearly impossible. Highly recommend AZ Mobile Spaws. read more
