This team is absolutely amazing and such a wonderful source of information. I worked with Sanni multiple times as my son and I had a rough beginning to our breastfeeding journey. She gave great, educated advice regarding my low supply, and my son's shallow latch and oral tie release. She helped me through all of that! She was always quick to respond in between sessions so I always felt supported. I got my supply up and my son has improved drastically with breastfeeding- I am so grateful! read more

Jill was such a phenomenal resource for our little one. She is kind, encouraging, and so knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend.

What an incredible resource AZ Breastfed Babies has been! My baby is only a week and a few days old and I already can't speak higher of this company. My husband and I took one of their free breastfeeding classes before baby was here and that truly helped set us up for success with breastfeeding when baby was here. My husband remembered more from the class than I did which has been awesome! Then we had one of the consultants drive to our house a few days after birth to confirm if we were doing things correctly and if baby was getting enough milk. She was fabulous, and even weighed baby before and after a feeding to confirm he was indeed eating enough. They continue to send me resources for various things that have been so helpful. I love that I can even video call them if I need and that I have access to chat with them through an app! I also live near one of their office locations and look forward to bringing baby there if needed and then being apart of their support group at that office in the future. Couldn't recommend them enough!!! What a convenient resource that works with my insurance, in this postpartum season as a first time mom!! read more

We are so grateful to have worked with Jill! She helped our family more than I can express and gave us support and encouragement in such a difficult and tiring time. We never felt pressure or judgement to do one thing or another and were provided lots of resources and knowledge along the way. Our baby is doing so well now with big thanks to Jill for getting us started and on the right track for his health, well-being and our journey as new parents. read more

As a new mom just days away from returning to work full time I was seriously stressing about my baby bottle feeding. Unfortunately he had a severe tongue and lip tie that was diagnosed late, and was still recovering and refusing to bottle feed. Thanks to Annie and AZ Breastfed Babies we were able to get my baby to bottle feed and alleviate my fears of leaving him to starve at home! Annie was incredibly patient and resourceful, and continuously reassessed the situation and offered recommendations. I cannot thank her and the team enough for helping me literally and figuratively nurse my baby back to health and to bottles! My only regret is not seeking them out sooner. read more

As a first time mom with a little one who was not latching, I was extremely anxious and disheartened. Lauren came out to our house within the first 24 hours of our baby being born & was so helpful! She instantly made me feel comfortable and was very thorough in her assessments. She took the time to reassure me that we would get baby latching and by the end of the appointment, he was! She provided several resources for me to utilize in between then and our follow up appointment. Lauren also personally checked in with me multiple times before our next appointment and was readily available for any questions or concerns I had. By our follow up appointment (6 days from the first), Lauren had me latching baby with ease. Since then he has been able to successfully latch and feed for every meal. Lauren is so sweet and very knowledgeable in her field. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does & deeply cares for her clients. It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside her and our family is beyond grateful for her expertise, support and personal touch she adds to her care. We highly recommend AZ Breastfed Babies and Nurse Lauren! read more

I am so pleased to write a review Thank God I booked for a lactation consultant with AZ Breastfed Babies!!! I had my son 12/7/21. He struggled with putting on weight after birth. This is my 5th child, and I thought breastfeeding would be easy as it has been with my previous children. I was scared and devastated after his 2 week follow up when the pediatrician told me to formula feed since he was still discharge weight. After a good cry, I booked Sanni for an in home visit. She was punctual, presentable- and most importantly very kind on her arrival. I felt so confident and supported after our first visit! The coolest part was she remained reachable till our next visit a week later. After just ONE week of following the treatment plan, my son is back to birth weight and packing it on! I'm happy and more empowered with all the encouragement and information Sanni has provided. She's even inspired me to seek out ways to help other women (I'm a registered nurse with a couple friends getting ready to deliver) I would recommend this company and their wonderfully professional staff to ANY momma on this breastfeeding journey- despite number of experiences!! read more

I had a great experience at AZ Breastfed Babies working with Amey. My daughter had gone from the 43rd percentile in weight down to the 3rd in just a few weeks and I was really worried! Amey helped me to get my milk supply up and get my daughter actively feeding better. Amey was kind, helpful and non-judgmental. I only wish I had gone sooner! read more

Erin was a god sent ANGEL!!!! I'm not sure how I survived the 2 weeks PP before I met her but I was determined to BF and I am forever thankful I got through those struggles and found her. She discovered both a lip and tongue tie on my baby, provided me with so many available resources to help with her latch and feed prior to scheduling her laser procedure and 9 months later we are still going strong with BF. My lil lady became a champ and my struggle of wondering how I will get her to latch is now wondering how I will get her to wean :). Erin was patient, professional and always available online even when I went back to work to answer questions unrelated to breastfeeding and provide such great resources that I was able to share with other mama friends!!! read more

I was told by a few women that breastfeeding is hard during my pregnancy especially as a first time mom. Now that my daughter is born, I realized that they were right! It's soooo fricken hard!! The first few days after she was born was the worse. I checked Yelp for a lactation consultant and found Amey. I texted her late at night around 9 or 10p and she responded and came to see me the very next day. She wasn't cheap but you can use your FSA or HSA funds to pay for her services. She spent an hour and a half getting me comfortable with breastfeeding and showed me products I can use to help me. Since then, she's sent me follow up texts to make sure I'm doing ok and when I had an issue a few days after our appointment, she got back to me right away. I'm so glad I found Amey and I highly recommend her if you need breastfeeding help. read more

My son,Hayden, and I had several consults with Erin and we both loved our time with her! Hayden was a great eater but at about 3 weeks I noticed that he would have at least one hood puke after a feed a day, more than just baby spit up, and although he was gaining weight like crazy I decided to schedule a consult just to make sure we were setting ourselves up for a successful BF journey. Erin did a very thorough eval on Hayden after watching a feed and we found a lip (it was very apparent) and posterior tongue tie. Since he was latching fairly well and gaining weight we decided to wait and see how he grew and if we could give him the tools to work around it. Although he did great we elected for a release which Erin talked us through even before our consult and gave us the tools to be Successful after. Erin saw us again after his release and gave us even more tips and tricks to be successful and now he latches fantastic and just has "normal" baby spit up after feeds. I can't thank her enough for all her help, reassurance, and guidance. It really helped my first time mom and nurse brain. Thank you for setting us up for success on our breast feeding journey. We truly appreciate you read more

If it weren't for Amey I would not have had the opportunity to breastfeed my son. He was a NICU baby and I was told numerous times that he wouldn't be able to latch. Just one consultation with Amey changed all of that! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and sensitive to my situation. Fast-Forward seven months later... While I'm not breastfeeding any longer (I went six months strong!) I still feel that utilizing Amey was one of the best decisions I made for both myself and my son. He has transitioned nicely to the bottle and solid food. I appreciate Amey for all that she did I will definitely reach out to her again when I have my next kiddo! read more

Amey is an amazing person and is talented in what she does. I'm a first time mom and was really struggling with breastfeeding my little one. I was exclusively pumping when he turned 2 weeks old when my midwife referred me to Amey. She was so patient, kind and knowledgeable. I felt so supported and cared for. My son did have a lip and tongue tie and she helped me find the specialists to help him and our BF journey. During Covid, I couldve felt alone as a FTM but Amey gave me a community of women that supported me as a new parent. I can't thank her enough. read more

From communicating with Amy via Instagram to actually meeting Sanni, the IBCLC that I booked with--everyone at AZ Breastfed Babies is AMAZING. From our prenatal consult and beyond, Sanni has been helpful, kind, personal, and really makes me feel at ease about all things breastfeeding. I love the app they use to keep all information in one place. I love how Sanni feels like a friend and most of all I love the support, knowledge, and encouragement she provides me as a first time mom. read more

I was hesistant to spend the money on a help because I knew I was capable of successfully breastfeeding. However, I only successfully breastfed with a shield and I did not want that to be my experience this time around. Finicking with a shield day and night for a year was not what I wanted. So, I bit the bullet and scheduled a consult with Erin. She was great! She made me super comfortable and was able to help me get a latch. Ever since the consult I've been successfully feeding shield free. Also, I discovered the sizing of my pumping flanges were way too big. I think whether you are brand new to breastfeeding or experienced, if you need any type of help or knowledge it is well worth the investment! read more

So glad I reached out when I did! I had seen a lactation consultant at the hospital two weeks after my delivery but was not seeing any results so I reached out for a second opinion and it has changed everything for the better! Sanni came to my home and shared so much information about my baby that the previous IBCLC overlooked, and not once made me feel judged or uncomfortable. She found that my baby did have a tongue/lip tie and referred me to everyone I needed for help with this. The best part was Sanni followed up with me on a daily basis to see how baby and I were doing and she continued to offer support and encouragement which made me believe that she truly cared and wasn't just doing her job. I'd recommend this to any of my friends or family. read more

I messaged Amey when my daughter was 5 days old and we were really struggling to get her to latch properly. Every feed was so stressful, so I searched on Yelp for a lactation consultant and found Amey. I messaged her and she responded same day and was even able to schedule a visit at our house that day! She was so kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our questions, explain everything, and make sure we felt confident in feeding moving forward. She also continued to check in with us after our appointment, including a virtual visit a couple days later. Breastfeeding is going SO much better now, and that is entirely thanks to Amey! I am so thankful for her help, and I'm glad that as things change and my daughter gets older, we know who to call if we have any issues with feeding! read more

My husband and I just welcomed our sweet little boy into world. We have a daughter that is 11 and breastfeeding was a horror story! Let me just say, thank the lord, Jesus, Buddha, Jehovah, and all the other gods for AZ Breastfed Babies! Amy is truly a superhero to us! She was able to make a visit to my home the next day and spent 2 hours with us and our sweet boy! I am so thankful to Amey from AZ Breastfed Babies! I am a first time mom and my baby boy is now 5mo old. I was very intent on breastfeeding but have many friends who have had challenges, so I wanted to make sure I was armed with knowledge and as prepared as possible! Amey visited us at home several days after baby was born and I fell in love with her immediately! She is so knowledgeable and she instantly made me feel comfortable and supported. She helped kicked off my breastfeeding journey in the best way possible and she has continued to support me throughout. She is quick to answer any question I have in between visits via text and she has recommended awesome products throughout the last 5 months that have made breastfeeding as productive and efficient as possible (think milk collectors, natural supplements, the right pump and bottles to help prepare for when I go back to work, etc.) I am proud to say that my breastfed baby is happy, healthy, and meeting all of his milestones! I love the special bond breastfeeding has created for my son and I, and I plan to nurse for at least a year, maybe more! Thank you Amey for your knowledge, guidance, and support. I saw Amey when I had my son almost 3 years ago and knew I had to call her when my daughter was born. My daughter was losing more weight than we were comfortable with right after birth and I was panicked. Amey immediately gave me a huge sense of calm and confidence. After taking all of Amey's professional advice, my daughters weight was right back on track in under 2 weeks. She checked in with us often, referred us to an excellent doctor to revise our daughter's tongue and lip tie, and made sure I had everything I needed to be successful on our breastfeeding journey. Cannot recommend AZ Breastfed Babies enough! read more

The short of this is I don't think I would have been as successful or as confident breastfeeding without the help of Amey. She's kind, patient, a great communicator and teacher and has a strong network of resources available. Amey came to my house when I started struggling with BF (as a recommendation from our doula and she was also my nurse at Banner Del Webb), gave me some tips on how to improve (it was really painful) and weighted my daughter to basically check if she was getting what she needed in the first place (she was!). Also mentioned that I might want to get her tongue and lip tie fixed which would help a great deal (we did, on another great recommendation). My daughter is 4.5 months old and still EBF! She's highly responsive (texts, emails etc) and also of note, can provide consolidated billing since lactation consultants are, thanks to ACA, covered by most insurers. read more

When my son was born, we did well breastfeeding in the hospital. It was a different story once we arrived at home three days later. I was prepared to exclusively pump, which was breaking my heart. Amey came to our house to help assess the issues we were having which included a before/after weighed feed. Her advice and knowledge are top notch not mention she is incredibly kind and considerate as well. My son is now 5 months and an absolute champ when it comes to breastfeeding! I would recommend Amey to any new (or veteran) mamas who are in need of help with breastfeeding. read more

Without the ENCOURAGEMENT, SUPPORT & KNOWLEDGE I received from Amey, Dr Becky, and my Doula Rebecca Turrigiano, I can honestly say I wouldn't have a breastfed baby. My baby girl was born with both tongue and lip ties, from the hospital she had to be placed on a bottle. This broke my heart as I wanted so badly to breastfeed. My wonderful DOULA Rebecca Turrigiano, called Amey and she was able to come right over. I continued to see Amey. She was my sole source of believing I would be able to get baby to the breast. It wasn't easy, I had to work through my babies tongue and lip revisions, her feeding discomforts associated with ties, was a slave to the breast pump, and continued to put baby to breast... BECAUSE of the help, confidence and encouragement I received from Amey. I can now say at 2mo my my little girl is exclusively breastfed!! read more

Amey is so awesome! I believe without her help, I would have given up breastfeeding after the first couple of weeks. First of all, it so helpful when you're overwhelmed with a new baby and everything that Amey comes to your house. During her first visit to my home, she was able to see that my baby had a slight tongue tie, torticolis (tightening in her neck and shoulder on one side), and also some head flattening on that same side because of the way she laid in utero - all of these things created breastfeeding issues for my little one. (I had met with an LC at the hospital, but she never mentioned any of these things being the possible reasons for why we were having trouble right off the bat.). By the time Amey left that first day, baby was breastfeeding pretty well with a nipple shield, which was a huge improvement. Long story short, we had the tongue tie revised and baby is going through physical therapy for the other issues and we're all doing 100% better. It's been a process for sure and each day has gotten better, but without Amey's help I don't think I would still be breastfeeding my baby. Amey also offers a wonderful 0-9 month breastfeeding mommy and baby support group every Wednesday. It's SO nice to go and weigh your baby, do pre and post feed weighs, and best of all, talk through general new mom stuff (the good and the not so fun) with the other moms! read more

I don't have enough great things to say about Amey! She's been absolutely amazing with me and my sweet baby Gwyn. Without her I would be a lost mess. Before seeing her, I was only nursing on one side due to pain. She was able to find the cause (a tongue and lip tie) and had lots of information on who to contact to fix it and what to do to prep for it. She's full of so much useful breast feeding information and has so many tools she will give you! She also throws an amazing post partum mommy group on Tuesday's that I've come to love! It's so nice to be surround by other mommy's and babies! Thank you again Amey, I'm forever grateful! read more
