Do you offer any classes or plan to offer classes in the northwest side? I live all the way by the northwest corner of the 303 and would love to join the class but the drive would be too far considering I'm high risk and might need to be on bed rest

Oh man mama! So sorry you have to be on bed rest! That is stressful and you need relaxation techniques more than anyone! I DO have plans to expand out there VERY soon in fact BUT still will be another 2 or 3 months. Please give me a call or email… Read more

For my first and now my second pregnancies I go to Jennie's prenatal yoga on Wednesday nights. When I went for the first time in 2022, I knew I would love it. I took her class every week for more than half of my pregnancy. And now I'm just a few weeks away from delivering my second and I am just so thankful for Jennie to be part of my journey. When I went to class with my second, I was met with a hug and the warmest welcome back! I just love her. And I LOVE this class. I live about 25 minute away and it's worth the drive. The energy, warmth, acceptance and solidarity is just to wonderful and I am grateful to have this though out pregnancy. Jennie make everyone feel so at home and comfortable. Her energy, caring, kindness and general vibe lets you know that you belong and you're not alone. I love that we go around the room when class starts to share and ask for advice and then we move our bodies in such a kind and gracious way; the room is truly full of acceptance- for each other and ourselves and that is all because of Jennie.

Being first time parents,…read moretransitioning out of work and into this new life of parenting a newborn, we needed all the support we could get to help us get off the ground as we came home from the hospital. Chelsea was absolutely incredible, she was with us for the evenings the first week our little one came into the world. We also had her back for the week my husband transitioned back to work so I could get caught up on sleep. Chelsea taught us a lot of great tricks to try for calming our fussy baby, she helped around the house, and she's the swaddle queen. Ask for a lesson and practice, you won't regret it. She was open to our long list of continuous questions, and helped us see that we had to continue to try a combination of things until something worked to soothe our baby. Chelsea also continued to reinforce our efforts and remind us we were doing a great job, even on days we were ready to give up. I'm so grateful to Anna at Arizona Doulas for making the time to have an introductory call with us at the beginning to help us understand how a doula could be beneficial. Anna provided the various options and let us customize our support needs. Anna made sure we knew this journey was about us and getting situated and acclimated as a newly expanded family. We are so appreciative of the support and great communication we received from Arizona Doulas, and if you get a chance to request Chelsea, do it, you won't regret it!!!

We decided that we wanted to use a doula when we began researching the labor and birthing process here in the United States. Our ultimate goal was to get our baby here safely, however, we wanted to do it in the most natural way possible. Having Nicole as my and my husband's support helped us acheive exactly what we wanted from our birth experience! Nicole even provided support to my mom who was present during labor and delivery. Nicole was professional; she worked extremely well with my nurses and doctors. She was a constant support during the whole process and she was extremely intuitive to my needs. I cannot imagine going through the birthing process without her there. If my husband and I are lucky enough to have another child, we won't even consider going through the process without a doula, and if Nicole is willing to support us again we would love to have her there. Thank you Nicole for being such a wonderful support and doula! And thank you Arizona Doulas for matching us with her!

We hired Ashley for the birth of my second child, when I was attempting an unmedicated VBAC after a horrendous experience with my first birth. I knew I wanted labor support for this birth, but honestly hiring a doula was a little "crunchy" and outside of our realm of comfort. From the first meeting with Ashley I could tell that I was completely wrong! Ashley was so real and down to earth, and made us both feel completely at ease and prepared for our TOLAC and hopeful VBAC. During actual labor, Ashley came when I told her I needed her, and helped me to do relax through contractions and do some exercise to try to turn my posterior baby. We labored at home with her help for as long as possible, and when I felt "pushy" she got us to the hospital and into a room ready to have a baby! Her coaching through early labor, transition, and especially pushing was instrumental to my successful VBAC. She was amazing at addressing my fears during labor and made sure I was informed and felt completely in control the whole time, as well as kept my husband calm and helped him to be involved with helping me. After the experience we had, I would 100% recommend Ashley to everyone I know, and would have her by my side for all future births.  Thank you so much for our healing experience Ashley!!

Diane and Belinda are educated, caring, and very intentional when it comes to the care for both mom and baby. Finding Willow birth center was an answered prayer. The purpose of updating my review is the transparency of the billing team or whoever is in charge of finances over there. NOT GOOD. Bad enough to dampen the overall experience. With our first child, we left with a $1000 credit that no one told us about until we went back with our second child. We were overcharged and not told. With our second child, we chose to use insurance which helped, because our insurance team was able to help us keep track of the tasks that they were billing for. With our third and fourth child, we were only able to receive prenatal care. WHICH I AM SO GRATEFUL, Willow is the most comforting and reassuring group of midwives in Arizona (in my personal experience) However, from our first appointment with Willow for our third and fourth children, we were told by both them, and by our insurance company that all of my prenatal care was completely covered.... MY KIDS WERE BORN IN AUGUST AND IT IS DECEMBER AND WE ARE STILL RECEIVING BILLS FROM THEM. I HAVE CALLED THE FINANCE TEAM, WILLOW, AND THE NUMBER ON THE EMAIL TRYING TO BILL US. WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CALLBACK. THIS IS MY REVIEW AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, HOWEVER, THE FRIENDS THAT I'VE SENT TO WILLOW TO HAVE BABIES ARE STILL STRUGGLING WITH THE FINANCE TEAM A LITERAL YEAR AFTER HAVING THEIR CHILDREN. When I go to have my fifth child, God willing, I would so quickly call Rachel and Rubyan for a home birth if they have those qualifications by then, *wink wink* My suggestion is, if you choose Willow, WHICH I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND, pay upfront in cash. Do not mess with their finance team. Not because you won't win, but because you'll be fighting a long time and that's the last thing any family or new mother needs postpartum. ***side note, all the first time moms upset about being sent home... that's totally normal to have a long birth. Your body has literally never had a baby before. With my first baby, I was sent home twice during my 19 hour labor. Healthy 9 pounder was born at 41 weeks and 6 days. STOP. BLAMING. YOUR. MIDWIFE!!!
