We had our second visit today with Amey at AZ Breast Fed Babies, and it was an incredible experience. She created such a comfortable, welcoming, and educational environment that left me feeling truly confident in my ability to successfully breastfeed as a first-time mom. Amey patiently showed me multiple breastfeeding positions, including the cradle hold, football hold, and side-lying position, and taught me how to let my baby naturally latch without forcing him. Her guidance was gentle, encouraging, and easy to understand, which made all the difference. She also made a point to include my husband throughout the appointment, showing him ways he can help with positioning, support, and working together as a team to make our breastfeeding journey successful. We both left feeling empowered, informed, and much more confident. We are so grateful for Amey's knowledge, kindness, and encouragement and highly recommend her to any new or expecting parents read more

Lauren N was extremely helpful and sweet. She gave me so much education and showed me the techniques to help my baby get a better latch. I'm one week postpartum and have almost zero nipple soreness. It's been fantastic thanks to her! read more

Aida is wonderful. I had a previously negative experience with a different valley lactation consultant and was looking for someone I could have an honest conversation with about the current state of my breastfeeding and pumping journey. I chose to have Aida come to my home which I highly recommend. It is so helpful to review techniques and such in your own home. Aida was professional and friendly. She helped me try new positions, worked on refitting me for my breast pump, and even helped me identify new parts to order that ultimately improved my pumping experiences. She also helped me put together a plan for when I return to work and to get comfortable with increasing my supply. She was also readily available afterwards via spruce chat for all my questions. I wish I had found her sooner to help build my confidence, I can say now weeks later after meeting her I am much better off. read more

I'd highly recommend AZ Breastfed Babies! Insurance verification was quick, text communication was easy and clear, and scheduling was a breeze. They also do a GREAT job of providing educational resources & community gatherings for support. Thanks Amey for building something great! I went to their free breastfeeding class with Saundra a few months before having my baby and felt SUPER confident. They also texted me additional handy guides for the early weeks of breastfeeding. I then did several weeks of in home visits with Stephanie, who helped me get my latch just right, troubleshooted a more difficult feeding side, taught me how to side lie nurse, helped me set up and try out my pumps, and measured my flange size. They also provided an easy to communicate messaging app whenever I had questions (think spit up, poop issues, supply questions, and more!) Moreover, Stephanie fully supported my focus on bodywork for baby (but didn't force anything) over cutting (he had a partial tongue tie that didn't affect feeding whatsoever). This meant the world! This is my second baby and he and I are THRIVING! Breastfeeding is SO EASY and FUN because of AZ Breastfed Babies! --- With my first child, I was referred to AZ Breastfeeding Medicine & Wellness and had an EXTREMELY traumatic experience. I'll spare the details on this review but the short version is they rushed to cut my baby (tongue tie release) instead of educating, exploring bodywork options. It was horrible for both baby and I. We also both experienced thrush and I got mastitis twice and was hospitalized. The team there was demeaning and unhelpful for the most part. I am so happy we switched with our second baby! read more

I am literally in love with this company's effort to help women and babies reach their full feeding potential with golden nutrition that will never be found elsewhere, breast milk! I have have a few in home consults with Lauren N. and a virtual meeting with the company's owner. They are all genuinely interested in helping us women in our breastfeeding journey. Visits are followed by babies weight, feeding sessions with technique improvement and analysis, and post feed weight to see how much the babies drank. They also have an app where you can chat with them confidentially and ask any questions that might come up after visits. I would recommend this group to any women that need help with their lactation journey. Thank you so much! read more

We are 2 weeks postpartum and I have had the profound pleasure of working with Aida at AZ breastfed babies! She has been able to come to the house for both visits and work through all of our concerns so thoroughly. Baby and I had a rough start, but Aida's plan of care has helped us get back on track and on a path to success! I am so incredibly happy with our experience, I can't recommend AZ breastfed babies and Aida enough! read more

Erin at AZ breastfed babies is the fourth lactation consultant we have seen for our newborn (others were from different places) and after our appointment with Erin we had the best results! I was FINALLY able to get my baby to nurse at home after seeing her and was beyond elated as I had not once been successful at home before this. She gave less complicated techniques that worked for me and she has a messaging system that I have used - she's so responsive. The office is also so cute and clean! I have an appointment with a different consultant next week that will visit our home. Also - Erin did not say the only way to latch was to get a tongue tie procedure like others. While we are open to getting the procedure, she wasn't so pushy about it and gave us lots of supplemental information. Thank you, Erin! read more

Highly recommend! With my first baby i struggled with nursing and producing enough milk. I wish I knew about AZ breastfed babies with my first baby. read more

This company Az Breastfed Babies has been amazing to work with from scheduling to Lauren G coming over and supporting me through this journey..I highly recommend Lauren, every visit she came with patience, kindness, support, and motivation to keep going.. unfortunately my baby wasn't about to suction properly so our journey is coming to an end.. it's bittersweet but was such a beautiful experience to have been able to nurse and provide for as long as I did! I reached out to AZ breastfed babies after hearing about them from my OB office (pinnacle peak women's center) when my daughter was about 4-5 weeks old. Sanni was a joy & blessing to our little family. She was intentional to check on how things were going and little Annie was able to latch with Sanni's advice! Lots of helpful things also given to us (spectra breast pump, diaper bag full of bottles etc, nipple shields). Highly recommend :) read more

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Erin! She provided me with such a high level of care, knowledge, and empowerment all throughout my breastfeeding journey. I had a home visit with her 4 days after having my first son. Erin instantly made me feel so comfortable and empowered. She actually taught me what to do rather than doing it for me. She had so much wisdom and made it all so easy to understand and replicate. When my son had bottle refusal around 4 months old she sent me a ton of resources to help us get through that. At 6 months old, when my milk supply dropped, she created a care plan to help increase my supply. She was with me every step of the way on my first breastfeeding journey and i can not sing her praises loud enough!!!! read more

I had the best experience with Alexandra! I was originally overwhelmed by all things breastfeeding and wanted to start out on the right foot. Alexandra came to my house for the first visit and spent time with me and my baby. She immediately made me feel comfortable! She has amazing knowledge and guidance. After our first visit, I immediately felt relief and less overwhelmed. We then scheduled a follow up to check in on progress about a week later. She gives such helpful insights from correct latching, positions, body work, and other resources. I highly recommend Alexandra and AZ Breastfed Babies! read more

So easy to get set up and they had fast availability. Saundra came to my house and went over all things nursing with me and made my older daughter feel welcomed to our conversation her presence was amazing. read more

They are very kind! Have amazing resources! They answered all my questions about my daughters lip and tongue tie!

I've been working with Sanni from the day my daughter was 6 days old. We were having such a hard time getting her to latch. It was the hardest thing I've ever went through. Sanni has been a godsend for us. She was more than just a lactation consultant to me. She provided practical and emotional support and encouraged me to not give up on breastfeeding when I was ready to call it. We finally got it down after 2 months but it wouldn't have been possible without the constant help and dedication of Sanni. I will forever be thankful for her and AZ breastfed babies! read more

No one told me how difficult breastfeeding would be in the beginning. If it weren't for AZ Breastfed Babies, I don't know if I would still be doing it. About a week into having baby home, she refused to latch. A friend recommended AZ Breastfed Babies and Amey responded to me almost immediately, and got me scheduled for an in-home visit. In just a few visits, she helped me through latching difficulties, a lip and tongue tie fix, and is now helping me plan for weaning. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

I cannot say enough about my lactation consultant and AZ Breastfed Babies! Since I have an 8 year gap between my first and second child, I wanted to talk to an expert about my questions, learn what's new, gather any and all tips and advice for my new baby. Sanni was phenomenal. She was super helpful with providing tons of resources, sizing my flanges (hello!! I was using too large a size with my first baby), introducing my baby to the bottle, supporting my transition back to work, discovering that my daughter had a tongue tie ----and she came to my home!! I love how every post -visit I received a lengthy document outlining my care plan. She was educating me all throughout our time together, so not trying to remember everything made a difference. I enjoy breastfeeding and I highly recommend their team. Also...my insurance paid for all the visits- except the $50 travel fee (but you could also do virtual). read more

Before I met Erin at Arizona Breastfed Babies, I almost gave up on my breastfeeding journey. I had been met with nothing but judgment and hearing "breast is best" from other lactation consultants. I left one appointment in tears after expressing I was supplimenting with formula. From the moment I met Erin at my in home appointment, I knew things were going to turn around. She is so compassionate and gave me the confidence & education to help with breastfeeing my son. Since meeting with her, I have been successfully exclusively breastfeeding for 3 weeks, gaining more confidence each day. I highly recommend AZ Breastfed Babies. read more

I am so grateful for the AZ breastfed Babies team, specifically Saundra! When my first daughter was born I had no idea how challenging our breastfeeding journey would be. Her thoughtfulness and knowledge was a game changer. Additionally, the platforms and resources provided by AZ breastfed babies is unmatched! Lauren with AZBFB was phenomenal! I struggled to breastfeed with my firstborn and ultimately ended up needing to supplement early on. So when I found out I was pregnant a second time, I knew I wanted to do as much as I could to help my supply. And finding a great lactation consultant was part of that solution. With the right tools, tips and helpful, extensive knowledge from Lauren, I have been set up for success and am happy to have been able to exclusively breastfeed my 8 week old since birth. Something that I only dreamed of being able to accomplish with my first, has now become a reality with my second. This mama is, and always will be, forever thankful! read more

I first heard about AZBFB through my sister who had Amy consult her. She had nothing but rave compliments and so I called to schedule a consult. I got booked with Sanni as Amy is no longer really doing consults. I was willing to give Sanni a try and I'm so glad I did because she was wonderful. I had a very traumatic early 4th trimester and Sanni really helped me develop tools to cope and get past issues around it to help my baby sleep better and me feed better. Also she made sure to provide me the resources to get my consultations covered by my insurance company when I was told by my insurance they didn't cover it... they do and they did! If it wasn't for her telling me to just apply anyway I would've paid out of pocket. She had great info/resources for me and helped me to not feel overwhelmed. I was able to take it all in and apply everything in a gradual way and gave me links and videos that I can come back to long after she's finished her job. Thanks for everything Sanni! read more

Saundra was an incredible source of knowledge and support when dealing with my newborn's latching difficulties. I found her to be compassionate, energetic and encouraging - just what I needed when feeling pretty bleak about my breastfeeding journey ahead. My previous child had similar difficulties and I ended up having to exclusively pump, and I felt so overwhelmed with having to do that again all while chasing an active toddler. But with Saundra's help we are well on our way to achieving the goal of babe being exclusively breastfed, no pump parts needed read more

As a first time mom, nothing is more important to me than giving my son the best. Breastfeeding seemingly came easy at first but I quickly realized I was in over my head...and in pain. As my child's only source of nourishment, I knew I needed to act fast and get help. A friend recommended Amey and I called her a few days into my breastfeeding journey. She was quick to respond and schedule and appointment, much to my relief! She arrived and showed us a professional, friendly demeanor that put us all at ease (little dude included). We learned helpful techniques from feeding to baby wearing and felt much more confident after the visit! A few days later I ran into some snags and again she was quick to hop on a call and calm me down. I really feel like I have an ally with Amey and feel so much better having her in my "tribe" as we navigate this new parent thing. 10/10 would hire/work with again! read more

I thought I was prepared for breastfeeding when I had my little one, after taking classes and studying resources, but I was blindsided by how hard it really was. A week after my little one was born, I contacted AZ Breastfed Babies, recommended by family, and Lauren came for a home visit the same week. What helped the most was knowing that she is passionate about what she does and that she really cares for the families she sees. It was so important for me to find someone I could trust to help with such an important part of motherhood. Lauren shared her own breastfeeding journey and showed her desire to connect and build a relationship with me and my family. She is incredibly knowledgeable and developed a detailed care plan specific to my little one, checked in with us frequently, and was easily accessible with any questions and concerns through the communication app. Her genuine care, kindness, positivity, compassion, knowledge, and overall personality and professionalism gave me more peace in the beginning of my breastfeeding journey. Now, I'm experiencing the wonder and beauty of breastfeeding my little one and will forever be grateful for Lauren and AZ Breastfed Babies for all the guidance, care, and love! read more

AZ Breastfed Babies came highly recommended via a local moms group after I expressed I was having challenges latching my firstborn. Latching was painful and at her two week check up she was not gaining weight. As a first time mom, I felt like I was failing my child. I was nervous to ask for help but I am so glad I did. After reaching out, AZ Breastfed Babies got me scheduled very quickly with IBCLC Lauren. Lauren worked with us for about 6 weeks. Lauren was incredibly knowledgeable and identified that my child had lip, tongue, and buccal ties. She also identified a head turning preference and body tension to which she recommended having body work done. After each appointment, she followed up with detailed instructions and videos conveniently through a secure patient portal app. This made is very easy to reflect back on what we worked on and allowed me to seamlessly practice the new breastfeeding techniques at home. Lauren taught me how to effectively latch my child even with her oral ties that made it nearly impossible. Had she not worked with me on this, I would have certainly given up on the breastfeeding journey within weeks after giving birth. Lauren helped to prepare us before having the oral ties released and empowered us with knowledge on what to expect and how to prepare. She also helped get me correctly fitted for my breast pump flanges and provided guidelines to help me maintain and even increase my supply. Lauren was always accommodating and even responded to my frantic messages on weekends and evenings at times. I am so grateful to have Lauren's help in rescuing my breastfeeding journey. Thanks to her, I can feed my child successfully and confidently which wasn't the case before having her help. I would recommend AZ Breastfed Babies and Lauren to anyone needing some support in their breastfeeding journey! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Saw Amy for a lactation consult in Phoenix at the Motherhood Co. She was amazing! So sweet and extra gentle with my babe. I had been having issues breastfeeding for a couple weeks. I saw Amey for both of my babies. She's the reason I was so successful at Breast Feeding. With my first child she came and she was so incredibly helpful, I already had a very painful bleb. She was so caring and sensitive to my needs. I was also so emotional from being post partly and she understood it all so well. She is exceptional at supporting you and helping you through the tough part of learning to breast feed. I couldn't be happier. I referred her to all of my friends because she was so amazing. I breast fed my daughter for one year and then was pregnant with my second daughter who I breast fed for 22 months. She is the BEST! Please contact her if you need some assistance and support. read more

What an incredible resource AZ Breastfed Babies has been! My baby is only a week and a few days old and I already can't speak higher of this company. My husband and I took one of their free breastfeeding classes before baby was here and that truly helped set us up for success with breastfeeding when baby was here. My husband remembered more from the class than I did which has been awesome! Then we had one of the consultants drive to our house a few days after birth to confirm if we were doing things correctly and if baby was getting enough milk. She was fabulous, and even weighed baby before and after a feeding to confirm he was indeed eating enough. They continue to send me resources for various things that have been so helpful. I love that I can even video call them if I need and that I have access to chat with them through an app! I also live near one of their office locations and look forward to bringing baby there if needed and then being apart of their support group at that office in the future. Couldn't recommend them enough!!! What a convenient resource that works with my insurance, in this postpartum season as a first time mom!! read more

When our baby was born he was diagnosed with a tongue tie right away. My OB suggested I see a lactation consultant after getting his tongue tie clipped but now looking back I wish I would've gone before. Lauren at the west valley location is incredible. She helped me with different positions, she connected with our baby, you can she genuinely wanted what was best for him. She got us connected to a chiropractor and a facility that does a laser for their tongue ties instead of scissors (my first mistake but you live and you learn). Lauren was with us every step of the way and always made me feel super comfortable and was always available when I needed help. Truly I do not know what I would've done without her. Our son is doing well after getting his tongue tie taken care of with a laser and is progressing well. Although we have graduated and are happy about that we are sad we won't see Lauren as much. She truly is incredible and I cannot recommend her enough. read more

Had a great experience with Jill. As first time parents, who had a good idea of how we wanted to feed but not sure how to actually do it, she helped us execute and even adjust as needed.
