As always AZ Automasters (Gilbert, AZ) has done right by me again! I took my car in for a complete tune-up this past Saturday. Service was completed. While driving home my car overheated. I wasn't sure of the issue and why it would have done that considering I just completed the tune-up. Immediately pulled into a gas station, shut the car off and evaluated my situation. Realizing I should not drive my car the 8 miles I had left, I had my car towed home and left a message with the shop. Jessica (GM) wasted no time getting back to me. I explained what happened, and had the car towed back to the shop for evaluation first thing Monday morning. Mike (Owner) and Jessica wasted no time trying to determine the cause of the overheating. Mike, Jessica and Michael you are nothing short of AMAZING! Your customer service is always top notch and I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making sure my car was completely safe to drive before returning to me. Monetarily I saw the dollar bills flying out the window but you made sure that didn't happen! You were completely fair with the charge! I just needed to say these guys are amazing..... I pulled in this morning with a completely flat tire because the air compressor at the gas station next door was out of order. Turns out it wouldn't have done me any good anyway since I had a HUGE hole in the tire. They stopped what they were doing and stuck a plug in to get me to discount tire down the road. I have been having car problems for months and have taken it to more than three shops to find the problem. Some of the shops, charged me to look at the car but weren't able to diagnose the problem. I wasted what little savings that I had to "fix" the issue, just to find out that the issue wasn't actually fixed. I was exhausted and tired of getting the run around. Being a woman, the other mechanics that I went to, I felt they weren't listening to me when I was explaining the problems that I was having with my car. They pushed it aside to fulfill their own agenda. After my check engine came on, I knew that it was imperative for me to find an honest mechanic. AZ Automasters, what beyond what I expected from a mechanic. I was nervous and hesitant due to my previous experiences and wasn't sure what to expect. Right away I felt reassured after dropping my car off and speaking with them. They actually listened to me explain the problems with my car instead of ignoring my input. They were not only able to find the problem but even more importantly, they didn't give me a laundry list of "other incidental findings" wrong with my car. Their prices were competitive, fair but most crucial, they were able to find the problem and truly fix it. There is no doubt in my mind, that I have found a mechanic that I can trust. The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had a chance to speak with the owner and it was refreshing to see that the owner hired staff that reflect who he is as a person. I hope that I don't have any more problems with my car, however, if I do, I won't take it anywhere else except at AZ Automasters. I had (what I thought to be) a small custom job for my car. A new compass mirror to be installed. They took my car in at the scheduled time, gave it back to me on time, job was very well dome, the price quoted was respected. I was impressed! I requested a brake inspection & repair as needed. It took them about 30mins to inspect & front brakes were done in about 1.5 hours. Good customer service in explaining the process. I was referred to AZ Automasters from a friend who " them fon all his vehicles for years. My car overheated BAD & didn't started again. I sent an appt request to check it out entirely for a quote. That night, Mike emailed me asking if I could get the car to them. The next morning, Jessie, the GM asked me to get the car in ASAP so they could look at it. As soon as they did complete diagnostics, Jessie contacted me & detailed exactly what needed to be fixed along with thee breakdown of each repair, part to be replaced and labor. It overheated BAD enough where a used engine was going to be the best cost efficient option. Jessie had already looked around & found one before she even called me. That was all within a day and a half. From the moment I approved them to do the job, I got my car back in a week and that's including the 4 days they had to wait for the engine to get there. They got my car running and better than before along with some suspension repairs. They were on it and did it all faster than any other shop or mechanic I've ever heard of. They were precise on what was done and explained everything thoroughly..I told her I was going to get 4 new tires and she told me to bring the car back as soon as I get them so they can recheck the alignment with the new tires. Amazing communication & keeping me updated, amazing response time and amazing employees. They worked this out to keep the cost affordable for me, which makes them a one of a kind. Doug was amazing. I walked-in with transmission trouble early one morning, when the shop was very short staffed. He said that they would get to it as soon as possible, they may have to keep the car overnight, if a new master cylinder was needed. He called me midday to say that they found the clutch pedal was out of alignment, a rare issue with a quick and simple fix. Only $35, hundreds less than I was fearing. And at then of the day, when I was running late from work, Doug waited a few minutes past close for me to get there. Kudos. Took my truck here after the AC went out just in time for summer. It was my first time coming here and I was hoping to find a good, trustworthy shop - I did. They could've told me it was anything and charged a crazy amount, turned out it was just a hose. Then they saved me $60 by having me bring back my truck the next day for a less expensive hose and they got it fixed and the AC charged in an hour or 2. I've had it back for 1-2 weeks and the AC is ice cold. Plus the guy at the front desk was cool and helpful. Definitely going to keep coming here for service. read more

Took my jeep here for a couple problems that i couldn't figure out why it was happening. They also fixed my AC leak. Been here multiple times and I will continue to go here for any mechanical problems i have with my vehicle. The prices are very reasonable. Second time they did a diag on my jeep they didn't even charge me for the diag. Just parts and labor which was really awesome. Seemed like they cared for the problems i was having with my jeep. Recently purchased a used car off of facebook market place, and took it here for the first time. The car was having some trouble starting, and I was fearful that it may have been the alternator. Richard explained to me that they checked my car thoroughly, and went out to start the car every hour for almost a whole work day to ensure it runs! Wow! the car inspected at no charge, and Richard walked me through everything that needed to be fixed on my car. Deceitful. I was very happy with my service until I got my oil changed this last time. When I went to AZ Automasters I was told my make and model car REQUIRED synthetic oil (more expensive). Turns out my owners book and mechanic father in law says I need regular oil. Beware of them trying to get as much as they can out of you. read more

I brought in my girlfriends Pontiac and they went above & beyond to replicate the issue, that of course didn't show immediately for them (darn cats & their quirky issues), they were able to keep the car in the bay over night and replicate the issue. Secondly Jeff (spellcheck) was wonderful to talk about the issues and familiar with aftermarket modifications! - relatable to a different vehicle I have. AZ Automasters was wonderful. So glad we had them perform a transmission service and brake fluid exchange for our vehicle. The service was great but they're follow through was awesome. A couple days later we looked at our vehicle and noticed that our brake fluid was already low and also missing the cap. When we called, Richard was exceptional, offering to correct this for us ASAP. He told us to come in as soon as we could the following day. He had a new cap ordered for us, had our brake fluid flushed to get rid of any contaminants, and refilled it promptly at no charge. He really wanted to make it up to us! We know no one can be perfect, but the fact that they were willing to fix the errors without hesitation was wonderful. Very disappointed! Brought my daughters car in for some work an oil change, transmission fluid drain, and to inspect a high pitched sound and check engine light. We received the car back with the check engine light still on and high pitched sound. The only thing they told us was that she needed new hoses, and brake pads were cheap ones.No explanation for sounds or check engine light. Her car broke down a week later,and the new shop we took it too told us that there is no way they shouldn't have found what was wrong with this car. Power steering pump, harmonic balancer, motor mounts, original spark plugs, mis firing for months, just a few examples of what this place should have seen.
