We came to Alondra's to eat wings as we always have. Soon as we got here we got seated and ordered and the food took about 10-15 mins to get to us! Which was exceptionally fast! The server was nice and always made sure to check up on us and ask if we were good. While we finished eating and left the restaurant, I forgot my wallet and a server named Alanna, who was really sweet, was nice enough to hold it for me until I retuned back to the restaurant. After Salvatore Italian Restaurant decided to close an hour early potentially ruining my date night with the wife. We recalled going to some mob themed restaurant nearby and to our surprise it was literally within walking distance of Salvatore Italian Restaurant. There was some banner covering the Alondra sign with AWSOM wings. All the mob decor is missing, I'm assuming there was a change on ownership from the last time we were there. We order some appetizers of Buffalo chicken fries (which was decent) and cheese balls that were overcooked and hard as rocks. The wife ordered the Alfredo pizza that was okay, very basic. I ordered the Chicken parm, that came with I can only describe as a fast food breaded chicken breast on top. My mother in law who was watching the kids for us, requested some wings. (She hated them, they were extremely overcooked...dry) I paid via the QR code on the receipt and left a $20, but for some reason the waiter thought we were trying to skip out on our bill. They're system kept saying the payment was pending, maybe they get a lot of dine and dash. I showed a copy of my paid receipt in my emails. This location has been a disappointment for the past couple of years but I would keep going, and just say "maybe they were short staffed. Maybe they were having a bad day" but it's now evident that they just don't care and have given up. The wings have shrunk, the flavors have been bland, and now they're getting cheap on the type of fries. Crinkled fries?! We paid $10 for crinkled fries? Could have bought 10 bags of this at the grocery store. Might sound petty but I would look forward to their delicious wings, garlic fries and the ranch blasted fries. Good quality = great food! Very deceiving! They have their medium pizza that is supposedly 10 inches priced at $15 which comes out to $20 with tax and tip. This legit looks like a personal 1 person pizza it's literally the size of my hand. Becareful when ordering. read more

Came in here thinking it was Alondra's and we still decided to try it. First of all the service was not so great. Then they wouldn't even accommodate the large order to be mixed with boneless for my grandchildren. But the icing on the cake was the whole tipping themselves. There were 3 adults and three lil kids 2 under 3 years old and one 6 year old and for that they said it was a large party. I could understand if the service was excellent then it wouldn't bother me. But they only served us 3 waters only gave us 4 plates and for anything else we were crashing people around. I had to ask 3 different people for my check all to find out they had added on their tip. Went here with a friend that highly recommended the place. Our order consisted of their cheese balls, a 8 in margherita pizza, 12 wings, and their Brooklyn burger. The cheese balls were good, but nothing too crazy. The only thing that really gave them any flavor was the butter they were swimming in. The pizza while very cheesey and fresh, was too doughy for my taste. Also, I expect a margherita to have a fresher taste than other pizzas and this we just very heavy, partially due to the doughy crust. The wings were a let down. We ordered them dressed in Alondra' Gold which really only tasted like vinegar and mango habanero which was more sweet and fruity than anything else. Both were rated on the mid to too end of their spice level and neither had any sort of kick to them. The saving grace of the meal was their burger! It was juicy, flavorful and balanced. I probably wouldn't go back for anything else that I ordered but I would go back for this. The burger even held up as leftovers later in the day. Also, I ordered their strawberry lemonade as a drink and it was way too sweet. It felt like I was drinking strawberry syrup more so than lemonade. read more
