Never again. First time trying this place. No one said hello and I wasn't acknowledged until they wanted to know what service I was getting. I needed a fill. I had 2 ladies in front of me and I was a walk in so I expected to wait no worries. While waiting I was finally seated only to be moved again because there was another appointment that I guess they forgot. The older gentleman was nice but the older lady (the wife) not so much. She took her time before she started... no apologies and absolutely no kindness or care for my time. She talked to the lady next to me. Didn't acknowledge me at all... not even asking or warming up with, "Is this your first time in?" or a simple "How are you?" Once she was done she seated me for my nails to dry and never checked on me. I had to go over and ask if I was dry. She didn't even look at me she just told other nail tech, "They dry." I also observed how they treated other customers when they walked in... they got a hello and was asked what they were getting. Others (AA customers) that came in with no chipper hello just asked what they wanted done. Her energy was off and her observations of those walking in were very questionable. I felt that my money was not welcomed there. Never again. The younger guy seemed like he was cool but I could definitely see how certain customers were treated. If you want great customer service and you want to feel like your money is welcomed there this is not the place... my nails look good for my trip but I could not wait to get out of there. My daughter had an absolutely horrible experience here. The pregnant nail tech was asked to do a power mani and instead she refused to listen to my daughter and put product all over her nails. My daughter asked her to stop and she wouldn't. Then when my daughter firmly told her we are done she told my daughter to get out of her chair because she has another client. At the time there were only three people in the shop. My daughter was asked to sit in Amy's seat. Amy (nail tech owner) then proceeded to tell her that her nails are almost done. My daughter said I asked for a dip mani I did not ask for all of this product to be applied to my nails. My daughter then told the owner to take them off. The owner started to raise her voice while my daughter continued to speak to her calmly. She then refused to remove the product that the first nail tech applied. I have been coming here for a while and the sheer ridiculous rude tone and behavior displayed by the owner was enough for me to say I will never bring my business back.The public pays for a service the expectation is that you will listen and provide what you are being paid for. Worse nail experience I've ever had! I thought I was coming to a nice friendly place close to home but I was mistaken! Anna did my nails, and the entire time she was a phone call, she had too different phone conversations one with her husband and then with her friend who's pregnant who she was giving her suggestions about Starbucks drinks and telling her about another client who's a district manager at Starbucks and took a trip to Dubai and how when am I a ready to take a flight if she doesn't know how to book through the partnership Starbucks has with Delta she'll help her. Anna is looking into because she drinks a lot of Starbucks and is wanting to take a trip to California soon. So this shows how much she wasn't talking to me but on the phone anywho. While this is going on I ask about the color which looks different from what I chose Anna said yeah it does look different I had to double check it myself. I'm like yeah this is what I want I wanted a more orange color. I guess she didn't like that went and got Jr. I explained to him what was going as Anna was trying to tell me to come pick another color and I told her no she can bring me the colors that will show up an orange color I picked wrong so this is your specialty help me out. Jr proceeds to say well we will have to charge you for both services doing it and taking it off. I'm like what I'm still in the building the color is not the same the tech even questioned it. They wanted to argue. I'm questioning them like wait what's going on. I'm just trying to get the color I asked for they proceed to tell me she finished the service and I should have said something before she finished. I said this is a finished product? They said yes all is missing is the top coat. So how is it finished but have to put a finishing on it. I asked for everyone's names they refused to tell me told me I didn't need to know and everything I asked was public record. I paid them 45 dollars for the attached pictures. I should have walked out when I seen no one was in there and when I did walk in no one really wanted to service me. You live and you learn but I pray that their business is NOT PROSPEROUS and everything they touch fail and they gain no success! read more

I have been a very loyal customer for almost a year now and after my most recent experience, I'm never going back. I went in for my regular pedicure, and every time I always warn the nail tech that I have a slightly ingrown toenail on both big toes. It can be really tender, but normally I have immediate relief as soon as it is PROPERLY cut out along the sides of my toe, and everything's fine. I'm well aware that it has to be removed frequently and taken care of. Today, one of the nails was not initially trimmed correctly, so the ingrown piece broke off, and the remainder was stuck down in the side of my toe. The nail tech continued to aggressively DIG into my skin to remove the last part. My skin was already clearly inflamed, she knew I was in pain because I kept flinching and I was told to "just relax". Then the tech went and got another sharp tool (not sterilized) to continue digging in my toe, which was pouring blood at this point. It was so painful I was nearly on the edge of the chair and I kept repeating that it was hurting. Then some questionable looking green liquid was used to temporarily stop the bleeding. I had to then put my bloody toe back into the water (gross). I asked for the ingrown piece to please be left alone for now because it was hurting so bad, yet she still proceeded to pick at it during the remainder of the pedicure. I regret that I even still paid for the service. Going on 24 hours later, my toe is still throbbing and inflamed, and now beginning to pus, which indicates infection. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing time that I take for myself, and my experience today was horrible. Now I have to look forward to visiting immediate care (on a weekend!) to treat an infection. I'm so grossed out and disappointed. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Well.. unfortunately I was very disappointed with experience. I was very confused from the explanation of dipped Acrylic nails vs regular acrylic nails. The lady that did my nails recommended dipped acrylic nails and explicitly explained how would they look. They did not turn out how I wanted them at all. I also did not like the fact that there are so many extra charges. For example, the nail technician said it would be five dollars more to cut my cuticles which I thought was ridiculous because that should come with the service that I'm paying for!! I also did not like the extra $5 charge just to shape my nail!! Definitely overpriced. One positive, I have to say is the male technician that did my pedicure did a very great job and was very professional. Overall I'm not quite sure if I would ever visit this salon again. If I had a better experience with my nails then I would probably feel more inclined to revisit the salon but due to the extra charges I will probably look for a different option. read more

I got a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. the pedicure was ok, water could have been warmer, but seemed like it was rushed, (my old salon was a 3 to 3 1/2 hours for mani and pedi) even though I was the only customer in the salon. The colors looked great in the bottle, but it looks darker on my nails. When she got done with my nails, they are not as smooth as they should be and there are lots of bumps in them. Which I can deal with as with when trying a different place for the first time. While doing my nails she talked to someone else, when i tried to join the conversation, i was shut out of it. But the final straw for this salon with me is, while I was paying, she knocked my phone of the counter onto the floor face down and shattered the screen. All she said was sorry. I don't have anything bad to say about Avon Nails. I was in the area and needed a place with decent reviews! They were the most courteous over the phone, so I chose them over other equally rated salons. I got a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure for $51 (before tip)! Very reasonable in my opinion- my regular salon is in Carmel where the prices are higher. I actually enjoyed the service better here than at my regular salon! My nails look and feel wonderful. My technician took her time and was very kind. I would come back to this location and I will definitely recommend Avon Nails to friends who I know live in the Avon area. Also, this place knows how to keep a customer happy and relaxed. There were no TVs, but they had a very nice playlist of hit songs that were played acoustic or at least a slower tempo. I scheduled an appointment, and Amy turns to me and tells me that they don't take appointments, whispered something to a girl working there and told her to tell me the same thing. They told me my only option was to wait for 2 hours, despite having an appointment. All the times I've been there, I've been greeted rudely. The only one that gives that place hope is Andy. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience here at Avon nails I went last Monday to get a gel full set and the women I had was extremely rude she didn't cut my natural nails file them or anything. she would start on my nails stop then get on her phone wouldn't say excuse me or anything,she proceeded to be extremely aggressive and rough it felt like my nails were going to rip off. She asked me if she was hurting me and I told her yess, she continued to be rough to the point where I was bleeding. My nails look absolutely awful the are chunky,the tips she put on my nails were too big. I called Avon nails to have my nails redone and they told me she was the only one that could fix my nails because they work on commission and if another person redid them I would be charged for a full set. I had finally decided I just wanted to soak them off they told me they would charge me 10 dollars to soak my nails off. Additionally my cuticles we're so badly bleeding they started to peel off and I've n be had this experience before.I've been reading a lot of reviews on Avon nails and most of them are pretty negative and seem to be talking about the same person, something needs to be done. I love Avon Nails! I've been coming here for 2.5 years now, every 2 weeks. I love the way the staff feels like family to me. They do a fantastic job! I get the dip every 2 weeks and an occasional pedicure. My husband comes for pedicures once a month. My dip is always beautiful, last a good long time before the growth comes in.
