If I could give 0 stars I would. One day after getting my gel nails done they chipped after one day. No color options either. They are horrible at designs. The were not friendly. Horrible at shaping. One of the worst nail salon experiences I've had . . . I just moved here from Texas in search of a new nail salon/tech. I chose this salon because of the location. When I walked in, I was given a "dry" greeting, as if I were interrupting his day. I asked if they did certain style of nail, they didn't. I told him I'll just do a new solar set and a pedicure. I was instructed to sit down. I wasn't offered any options for the pedicure, unless they only offered basic. Another guy did my feet but the initial guy kept staring at me. Then he asked me if I just wanted a fill. I told him since they couldn't do the type of nail I was wearing, I was getting solar. The pedicure turned out great, but the nails not so much. I sat down with a girl. She asked again if I was getting a fill, I told her a new solar set. She said they don't do solar nails . I finally found an option that would do, and she literally took 1.5 hours to do my nails!!! They are not buffed well, they are already coming away from my real nail and there are yellow spots! Honestly, I'd love to give this place some grace but every time I go it's always a bad experience. One time I went to get my fake nails removed, and they took a credit card and peeled them off. It hurt A LOT and my nails were so damaged. I went again today to give them another chance thinking "maybe I came on a bad day" and the experience was not any better. We had an appointment at 11:00 and we're not seen until 11:40. In that long waiting period, I observed my surroundings. There were finger nails all over the floor, there was dip powder spills everywhere that hadn't been cleaned, it was gross. I also noticed that the never cleaned their tools. The only reason I would say they're any good, is because a good amount of the workers are sweet. But even then, some were kind of rude. Basically, if you're looking for a clean, quick place, DO NOT go here. read more

I went with my two cousins to get a pedicure for my birthday and it was definitely an experience. The man doing my cousins nails kept talking about politics saying that "Biden is satanic and a clone", he did not stop there and continued to make very weird comment's and made us uncomfortable. The reason I'm giving a one start review is a few days after the pedicure my toe started hurting and now has pus coming out. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had an appointment and waited an extra hour for starters... and then they decided to put me with some younger boy who literally acted as if this was his very first time doing nails. He didn't even know how to work the drill and had to keep calling over another girl for help. He took over two hours for a FILL IN. He didn't speak to me the entire time and the rest of the staff seemed very rude. The finished product was an absolute mess. The nails were all chunky and different odd shapes. They also charge more than other local salons. Would not recommend going here. read more

Nice, clean nail salon. I go here often in the summer and recently returned for my spring tune-up pedicure. Let's be honest, this is always the worst pedicure of the year and they handled it like pros! I always make appointments when I go, but I've seen walk-ins arrive and they are usually able to get in promptly. They always have a nice selections of polish to choose from (classic to new and trendy). Also, if you're looking for a mani/pedi combo they offer it for $35 which is fair considering the quality of services received! Check it out if you're in the Avon/Plainfield area! Took my toddler in to get her nails and toes nails painted for her birthday. It was not crowded and the gentleman doing her nails was really good talking to kids. He talked to my daughter and made her feel special and put on kids shows on the tv. There are also special child size princess pedicure chairs. We will be back. read more

Tonight was our first time to go Holly Spa and Nails. I found the atmosphere pleasant and clean. The price for the pedicures was in line with every other place around here. I asked for a flower on my toe and was pleasantly surprised that they added several things bedsides a single flower. Definitely will be going back read more

We expected $12 manicures but were given $43 manicures unbeknownst to us, and surreptitiously, such that we were led to believe that they were only $3 more. The owner was ungracious and unreasonable, despite multiple attempts to explain how we had been misled by her employee. We were very clear about what we wanted(we chose the fingernail polish that qualified for the mani/pedi combo price), but they persuaded us to use the stuff that did not qualify for the combo price, conveniently leaving out that fact to their benefit, which is a deceptive business practice and increased our bill by $28 per person using chicanery, which I find pretty disdainful, especially considering that our beloved Aunt Jackie paid for it with the expectation that her money wouldn't be squandered in this manner. Unfortunately I wish I could provide a better review. Wanting to try a new salon and hearing previous good things about Holly's, my mother and I decided to try it out on a Saturday for a girls mani/pedi day! Initially we were asked to come back in an hour and decided since we were walk-ins that was fine. Upon coming back an hour later we still waited a great deal of time before even seated and longer before anyone could help us. In just the two hours we were at the salon multiple people left (some with scheduled appointments) having to wait entirely too long secondary to not enough staff. Nails were done haphazardly and not to the quality of the charge. While this nail salon has the ability to accommodate a lot of customers and be a great business provider, it was not so on the day I went. I hope for improvements, however will not be returning. Suggestions if you choose to go, make an appointment prior to arrival and still be willing to wait. read more

I had a very different experience than the rest of the reviewers. I walked in with my boyfriend yesterday on a Saturday evening without an appointment. We were lucky and they were able to get to us right away. I got a mani and a pedi and the bf got a pedi. They did a great job. One thing that I noticed which was different than any other Asian nail establishment was when the women that work there talked to each other they spoke in English. I thought that was courteous and professional. My nails where shaped well and the price was very reasonable. I do think that their nail polishes were on the thin side but to be truthful I think that of all of nail salons anymore. I have come to the conclusion that I want to bring in my own polish. One other thing that I thought was super cute is they have pedi chairs for young ones. If your a mom to a little girl, she can get her toes and nails done when you get yours done. read more

Terrible nail salon. Went for a gel manicure and the technician made me bleed twice while trimming my cuticles. The gel polish they used was so diluted that it took 5 coats of polish to cover my nails thoroughly. With this many coats I had air bubbles in the polish and it did not dry properly. When I left I had polish all over my cuticles and on the skin around my nail beds. Did not have time to ask them to redo my nails but I should have because the quality was so bad. Will never go back to this nail salon again. read more
