    This location is the worst. The owner Asem Swaked is a crook with no morals or shame. He changed my rental agreement price without notifying me or obtaining my signature. After I sent the local news consumer watchdogs to speak with him he corrected the price. Three weeks later he had one of his employees Crystal call to tell me Uber was raising the price of the rental. When I disputed this and explained I understood the way a Uber rental worked and would be taking legal action, Crystal agreed that her employer instructed her to lie! She also explained she made minimum wage on a 1099 which is disgraceful on the employers part since she has health issues and was constantly overworked. Asem has a DJ business and music aspirations that he finds with the money he swindles his customers out of. What I said must have sunk in because the price was corrected again. After returning the car on time Friday I was automatically charged the weekly charge again on Saturday! There is legal options to be taken and if you have been ripped off by this Avis you should seek legal advice immediately. This sort of practice is predatory. Update 7/27/2023: a month after returning the car in better condition than when I first picked it up I was charged $3300 without notice or explanation. The legal wheels are now turning.

    Do not book with Avis/Budget rental. With the pandemic our cruise/vacation has been cancelled. In and attempt to get a refund for our rental car, they are charging customers a $50 fee (more than half the rental cost). Once I requested to speak to a manager they then offered a $50 voucher that must be used with in a year. If we are unable to use it before then, we are out the money. Also, since I am not a preferred customer, they would not even send me and email to confirm this voucher. Terrible customer service and they clearly are only worried about taking advantage of people during this hard time.

    We had two vans reserved for a Saturday field trip, when we arrived to pick them up, no vans, no apologies, just bad customer service.

The was filthy. I had to pull over and clean where the camera looks out, because the cruise control got an error and wouldn't work till I cleaned out. Turned out to have a sticky substance over that whole area. I got aTesla, since I wanted to try an EV. I might have liked it more, if it weren't so dirty. At the pickup place they told me that I had to return it above 90% or pay a fee, unless I pre-paid. When I showed them my rental contract that says return it at 10% or above, I was told that "we can see when you return the car and you can talk to customer service." I dreaded the return. So I clean the camera areas and find the car ok. Had my return time set for 7pm, but arrived early at 6 to find they close at 5. Huh, nobody told me that when I booked out locked it up. I waited on hold for 15 minutes and hung up. Found the drop box and filmed my key return. Imagine my surprise when the next day I see a $40 charge to my card. Another 10 minutes on hold and learn that it's an additional deposit since I "still had the car." Volunteered to send the video of the return, but she said that she'd just send an email to the location. This is one of my very few bad reviews and it's not done easily. Yet, I can't even give 2 stars this time. I recommend anyone else, or even renting a scooter before this place. Maybe just cancel your trip first.

At 5:59pm I was instructed by text to meet the driver at a specific pickup location. I arrived there shortly afterward, but the driver was not present. I received multiple texts stating "take me about three minutes to get there," "3 minutes," "I'm coming," etc. Yet the vehicle did not arrive until approximately 6:40pm. As an older traveler with mobility concerns, I hired a limo service specifically for peace of mind and reliability. The vehicle itself was fine, and I did ultimately get home safely. However, the delay and the inaccurate arrival estimates created unnecessary anxiety. When I contacted the company the next day to request acknowledgment and adjustment to their charge, I was told I had only waited three minutes and was informed I am no longer welcome to use the service. I'm sharing this experience for travelers who prioritize reliability and clear communication when arranging airport transportation.
