I had a service dog in the car and was not told to vacuum after, they kept my deposit due to me "smoking and having ash and my SERVICE DOG in the car" being blamed for them having to clean the car when you have to legally clean each car after each customer. The Boulder office had the driver leave and then didn't offer me the vehicle. They left me stranded. They were singularly unhelpful and disingenuous. read more

This was one of the best car rental experiences I've ever had. The online reservation was easy and straightforward, the price was reasonable, and the customer service when I arrived was outstanding. Last month I rented from a competitor rental company here in Boulder, and the two companies could not have been more different. Enterprise's office felt clean and professional (if a little sparse - it looks like they just moved in), while the competitor was housed in a shabby garage. The representatives for Enterprise were knowledgeable and professional in appearance and demeanor. They were gracious and accommodating, providing a complimentary upgrade and discounted fuel when there was a slight delay due to vehicle availability. They were thorough in inspecting the car with me beforehand, which made me feel confident I would not get charged for any prior damage. I felt like they were looking out for my best interests. In contrast, the competitor had argued with me when I requested an extension on my scheduled return time. At that company, I had pointed out that I was paying for 3 full days, and if they charged me a late fee (which is the rate for an additional day) when I returned it 60 hours later, that was essentially double dipping on their part. The competitor representative was obstinate and apathetic, and that experience was the main reason I sought out a different company this time around. I am so glad I did, and from now on, I will always go directly to Enterprise! read more

The customer service was bad under the new management. The first thing I noticed was that one of us stood at the counter for several minutes while being completely ignored. There were several opportunities for one of the employees to acknowledge our presence with a quick "we'll be with you in just a minute", but they were literally too busy telling another customer that there was nothing they could do about his request to change to a different car. The specials seemed very affordable at first, but the review from yesterday (Aug. 21 2014) mentions that the new management's policy is to gouge you if there's any possible opportunity to do so. We'd had a pretty good experience there in the past (under previous management). We don't have a credit card, and so they're picky about the types of bills they accept as proof of credit. That's understandable, but the attitude that the previous management always took was that if there's any way to work it out, they'll work it out. The new management took an attitude that if we don't already have everything lined up and in good order when we walk into the store, then, they're too good to rent to us. At least that was the feeling we got. There was a lot of that "fake nice" attitude, but no suggestions as to how anything could possibly be worked out. We had brought all the same types of bills, identification and credentials that we had brought to the previous management and been able to use to rent a car at an affordable price. But not this time. There was also a plant in the office that looked like it was dying from too small of a pot. In short: NOT recommended under the current management, unless you don't mind a very poor standard of service. read more

My neighborhood has turned into a Enterprise parking lot. Even though we have voiced our safety concerns constantly, Enterprise parks their COMPANY cars all along our street. Up to a dozen of them. Myself and my neighbors pay hoa fees to have our streets cleaned but they can't be cleaned because of all the Enterprise Vans parked along our streets. The disrespect their workers have shown us when trying to get this resolved has been terrible. Upsets me how much business I've given to Enterprise with the current treatment they've shown myself and my neighbors. read more

I recently rented a car for a couple of days from Enterprise and I was surprisingly impressed mainly with the service. They picked me up(just like the commercial says) took me to the shop and I was on my way in 10 minutes. Everyone I worked with was extremely friendly(but not in a creepy way) and even cut me some slack on the deposit. They would have also dropped me off but no need they let me leave the car and keys at the body shop where my car was getting work done. I never thought I would be so impressed with a car rental company. It was my first time renting and it was perfect. If you are renting a car from here think twice. My and me husband rented a car and dropped it off with no damage. The whole time we had the car it was parked in underground parking. When we returned the car they said they did thermal imagining to see hail damage, however when we dropped off the vehicle we took pictures and there was no visible damage. If they are going to use thermal imagining when returning a vehicle they should use it when you are picking it up. It seems like an insurance scam and they should be reported to DORA. read more

This enterprise location continues to be disrespectful to my community. The employees are incredibly rude and make snarky remarks even when we try to politely reason with them. They park their cars up and down my street causing inconveniences to myself and my neighbors, most of which are in their 60s and above. As a neighborhood we have politely asked them not to park along our streets as it results in us having to park far away due to already limited parking availability. We pay to keep our streets clean and safe; the increased traffic and parking choices causes all of us to be in an uncomfortable situation. Many times we have tried to politely voice our concerns with the employees of enterprise, but their responses are rude and disrespectful. We recently rented a car from this location of Enterprise and I would highly recommend it. We have rented twice from them now and both time we experienced superior customer service. They really will pick you up from your hotel or any other location in Boulder. We fly into Denver and take the Sky Ride bus to Boulder for only $13 each, then the crew from Enterprise will pick you up and get you to their location. They will drop you off at a place you designate afterwards too. The price of renting in Boulder in comparison to Denver airport is half of what it would cost there. The customer service at Enterprise was terrible. They quoted a special monthly rate then tried to charge me $200 extra because the month was one day longer than 30 days. The manager was very rude, and would not let me extend my rental because the car needed an oil change, and they had no mechanic there to do it. The manager tried to give me an inferior car, and I had to insist on a comparable car- the exact same model was sitting on the lot, but wasn't offered to me. The rental counter is always understaffed and a long wait. Would not return to this Enterprise. read more

I rented a car for a week and all of the staff members I dealt with were very friendly. More significantly, I got a flat tire during the rental period and I had declined the road hazard insurance when I rented the car. They came and took the car to a tire shop and returned it to me in a few hours. They charged me only for the cost of the repair which was about $20. As they returned it they apologized for any inconvenience. I could not have asked for better service and I would go back to them in a heartbeat. read more

This company has shown so much disrespect to the people in my neighborhood. They've made our streets unsafe by parking multiple vehicles (6-10) along my street. When I tell them our concerns they show no remorse. Instead of buying a lot to park their cars they take advantage of our neighborhood and put all of my neighbors in a tough spot. I own a party bus company but I don't line my buses along the street. Cutting corners is causing pain to the local stakeholders. Pretty typical rental experience, although they wash each car immediately before the damage walk-around at check-out and the resulting water drops may mask small dents (like existing hail damage). Be careful, as they'll attribute these dents to you when you return it unless you catch them during the walkthrough. :( Also double-check the fuel level against the paperwork before you sign, as they don't always match. read more

When renting a car this summer, in Boulder, use Enterprise! This is the company, that when the flood happened, helped so many people. Instead of moving cars out of the area, which is normal for Sept., they left them there. Then, brought in 300 more. On a case, by case basis, they rented these cars for dirt cheap. This location may rent adequate cars but they are a terrible neighbor. Their employees and customers use the street in front of our house as part of their business parking lot. They also park unused vans and cars in front of our house. The street is curved and these cars/vans create a safety hazard and basically reduce the street to one lane. What a nightmare I just had!! I reserved a car from this location online and received the confirmation by e-mail on June 16, then I modified my pickup time due to the schedule change on June 20, and I also received the second confirmation by e-mail. But when I went to pick up the car at 5:30 pm on June 24, 2015. The lady behind the counter, Megan told me that they had tried to call me and e-mail me many times today to inform me there would be no car for me. This is purely not true!! I never received any phone call or any e-mail all day today. The fact was she couldn't even find the e-mail in sent folder!! Megan simply said that the computer system made a mistake, there was nothing they could do. End of discussion. After this unpleasant and disturbing event, I had to run with a heavy backpack for about 1.7 miles to a nearby AVIS rental car office on Baseline Road in order to be there by their closing time of 6 pm. I barely made it, and luckily enough I got a compact car so that I could pick up my wife at Denver airport after midnight. I could not understand the comments from other reviewers, but from my experience, I have to strongly advise you not to rent any car from this Enterprise office. But if you still want to, please make sure you call them by phone to absolutely sure there will be a car for you at the time of your choice. What they did to me almost ruined our vacation. Had a confirmed reservation for an SUV from this location. The night before pickup they left a voicemail message that they would not be able to provide me with an SUV. Within 5 minutes of their call, I tried to contact them to inquire about what other transportation was available, but they were unavailable to answer their phone. It would have been helpful had they stated that NO vehicle was available. I found the experience horribly inconvenient and stressful as I was counting on my confirmed reservation to pick up prepaid for skis, etc.. Others may have had a good experience, but I now associate Enterprise Rent-A-Car with Booby Prize Rental Car. Renter beware - during busy season, a confirmed reservation from this outfit, doesn't mean squat. read more
