My five friends and I went up to Jiminy Peak Mountain for a three day ski weekend. The rentals on…read morethe mountain are not only expensive but the equipment leaves something to be desired, especially in terms of boot quality. I called ahead to reserve skis, filled out the form, and emailed it in. On arrival, we parked in a big parking lot right behind the shop, walked in, and saw ALL of our gear ready to go, name tags and all! The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He made sure the boots fit everybody, and we were out of there within 15 minutes. The shop is exactly 10min from the mountain. The quality of the boots and skis were incredibly. You could tell 'Ski Fanatics' really takes care of their equipment. I have never worn, let alone rented, such comfortable boots in my life. Most importantly, the boots were warm!! Warmth on the mountain is paramount, every skier understands colds toes. Once we got loaded up, John, the owner, told us to give him a heads up if we were going to return the skis after hours. He lives down the road and was willing to open up the shop if we needed to come in later. Finally, during the return process, John came out and helped us quickly unload all of our skies and gears. Overall, the whole process couldn't have gone smoother. It was a true 5 star experience, start to finish. I recommend Ski Fanatics for all of your ski needs. No one in our group rented snowboards so I can't speak to them.

After a lot of research, we settled on Great Outdoors and they exceeded our expectations: friendly upon arrival, informative, honest about river rules, accommodating, and affordable. It was $30 per person which included parking, a life jacket, a single tube your choice (pink or blue), and their shuttle service to the drop off spot. Because the shuttles run frequently, Great Outdoors even transported our picnic coolers back to their base for safe keeping before we put in. They also have a lockbox for car keys. Our whole experience on the river was approximately 3.5 hours but that's because we started tubing shortly after the water was released, therefore the beginning was a slow start of rock tetris maneuvering. If you want an "easier" start, I would recommend going in at the time Great Outdoors suggests. We just wanted to be on the water for longer and wanted to avoid the mass crowds of launching. Halfway through our ride, the crowds finally caught up and new tubing friendships formed because of bumper boating moments, all par for the course :)

When we asked the lady in charge working there what caused the turnpike policy change she said "Too many large families staying there all day, speaking other languages and being too loud." Clearly referring to the latino and black families I typically see out having a chill and relaxing weekend day on the river, like everyone else. That's messed up racist crap. They aren't the reason the parking got restricted, it's dumb litterbugs floating down the river leaving cans of white claw floating for the rest of us to pick up. I don't know if her views reflect the rest of the staff at Great Outdoors, but we won't be going there anymore.

The price and timeline were reasonable. Jim showed up on the day he said he would and was done in by lunchtime, overall we are happy with the results. Just a couple of things that I was a little disappointed in. There was a lot of old caulking from the previous walls which was hard to remove. When Jim put the new caulk in for the new walls it mixed in with the old caulking so I cant get rid of it all. Also the plumber was supposed to look at the drain to make sure everything was working properly, Jim forgot to remind him and told me he called him but I have not heard from him

We were excited by the designs offered, but a little taken back by the price. Jim and his Berkshire Bathworks crew were contacted and promptly arrived to assess our needs and give us a price. The price was competitive with the national chains. It was NOT a one day installation, but Jim was very forthcoming about the actual time frame for completion. Every question and concern we had was addressed. The time frame was off by a couple of weeks due to the special order of the glass shower enclosure. [It arrived with the installation holes on the wrong end of the glass, hey, it happens. The last time I made a mistake was 1957] Jim went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The job is beautiful and a complete makeover. We are very happy with the outcome. One last thought, my wife fell and broke her hip two weeks ago. I called Jim on Tuesday, 01/01/19, about installing a grab bar in both bathrooms. He was here this morning, 01/03/19, and installed two new grab bars and would not take any compensation. My first thought when I entered YourCBDStore was about how splendidly surprised I was with the…read moresheer variety of products. The walls are lined with edibles, flower, vapes, and tinctures, all in different colors, shapes, and sizes. It is like entering a cannabis candy shop every time I go in. My second thought revolved around the cleanliness and warm atmosphere of the shop. Many CBD stores tend to be more corner store-esque, as in dark and dank. This shop is very different: It's clean, bright, and welcoming. Once in the store you will be welcomed by either Jim, or Denise. Both are incredibly lovely, helpful, caring people. Jim (the owner), is super knowledgeable about cannabis and places incredible importance on the quality of product he is providing to the community. The amount of unique cannabinoids you will find in this store will absolutely open your eyes to the vast world of cannabis. Jim stocks edibles, vapes, drinks, pre-rolls, tinctures, balms, pet treats; every single form of cannabis you can imagine, they have it. But what really makes this place stand out to me is the wide array of actual cannabinoids he carries. From D9-THC (real deal), CBD, CBG, CBN, HHC, HHC-O, THC-O, THCP, THCH, D8-THC, ETC... They have every cannabinoid you could possibly need in any given instance. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their edible selection, I highly recommend the D9/HHC gummies. They feel similar to a homemade edible, but the HHC adds a vibrance and character to the experience that isn't present with just D9 alone. It is very cerebral and upbeat. I guarantee these will knock your socks off! It's also insane how reasonably priced every single product is. It's so cheap, it has tainted how I look at dispensaries now. Every time I go into a dispensary, I end up regretting my purchase and feeling a tad ripped off, because of the overbearing taxes. That is not the case with YourCBDStore; there are no crazy taxes and I have never regretted any purchase I've made from this store. Not to mention how amazing their reward system is. It feels exactly as rewarding and helpful as that sort of system should feel. I find myself going in and having $10 or $20 off more often that I thought would be possible. All in all, if you want dispensary quality cannabis products, with a wider variety, and much cheaper; I HIGHLY recommend YourCBDStore. -Dylan (Cannabis Enthusiast)
