This is actually one of the only places in the Western MA area to buy limited brand street-wear such as Mishka, Hundreds and all of those other fancy "street" brands that are the rage of every hypebeast on the planet right now and make up the entire stock of Karmaloop. Unfortunately I'm not a big name brand wearing fellow and I go for actual BMX and skate companies gear out there. To each his own; there's also this dope couch setup in the store and the employees are welcoming. (Hard to find in any skate shop, or street wear shop these days. You can't make this stuff up. I traveled past many of Connecticut's finer equipment dealers to get here, because they had such a good deal on the leg pads I had my eyes on for months. Everywhere else on earth seemed to want $650 for them; I paid $540, a great deal in a sector of sporting goods that rarely sees deep discounts. The shop itself is relatively small, but still has a goodly amount of stuff in it. I'd say that if you're looking for something specific, call ahead and have them order it for you, like I did. And they'll do all the hockey basics here - sharpen your skates, sell you some tape, fix your equipment, and so on. A 3/8" hollow on my skates and a 2005 Chianti? The perfect combination.

Not walking in with intentions of buying anything I found myself walking out with a nice pair of running shoes. What was nice about this place and really the reason why I am writing a review is the people in the shop were kind enough to toss me a $10 discount on them! I almost wanted to buy a pair of dress shoes too but I will save that for another trip. The store is small in size compared to stores you see in the mall but large in footwear inventory. The workers greet you and assist you with anything you have questions about. If there is something specific that you are looking for and you do not se it they have an abundance of catalogs that you can order from (which is what my friend did in this instance). I would recommend checking this place out before you spend your hard earned money in a big box store. This place is a great example of a well ran mom and pop shop if your intentions are to support your local businesses.
