I went here once for a small procedure when I was new in town. It wasn't a particularly good experience, as I recall. Now, **five years later**, they have sent me a bill for $170, claiming I didn't have dental insurance at the time of service, *five years ago*. This feels like a scam to me! I'm refusing to pay a random bill that was only just now issued to me five years after treatment. read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone. First they take the complete amount from insurance and from patient and after 15months, they keep sending invoice for bill dues for previous treatments, Even after clearing the bills, they say "You have some outstanding amount which receptionist missed to take it from you 2 years ago when you visited". When asked for further clarification, Dr Aditi says "I don't have time to explain you why you need to pay $50 to us, Better pay and leave". She is super rude lady, threatens to either pay or it could be a breach. I have never seen a clinic which talks about outstanding dues from (15-18)months old treatment history and threatens us at clinic to either pay or it could be breach and moreover in such a rude tone. Also, cant forget these words from Dr Aditi "I don't have time to explain you why you need to pay $50 to us, Better pay and leave". For all existing patients, be careful you might be overpaying the amount from your pocket, and all for new patients - better be careful and alert , there are lots of other good dentistry(s) out there! read more

DO NOT GET ZOOM WHITENING HERE! I am having to have work done to repair the damage done to my gums and teeth after receiving zoom whitening from Avenue Smiles. My gums now have significant receding and one of my front teeth has dramatically shifted from the material used during the procedure to protect my gums. The procedure was the most painful dental experience I've ever had and I've had braces. My gut instinct was to stop half the way through but I was advised to continue. I should have walked out and never looked back. Avenue Smiles may be a great place for cleanings and what not but SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT GET ZOOM WHITENING HERE! read more

You see, I was living for the past seven years in a country where dental care was not really available. I moved to Seattle recently, and renewing my mouth health was a priority. Fortunately I found Avenue Smiles! I have been 100% satisfied with the care I have received at Avenue Smiles. Let me tell you why. First, about their office: It is clean and comfortable. I was never kept waiting longer than a minute or two. Sarah, the receptionist and office manager is delightful, accommodating, efficient and professional. Next, the dental professionals: Hong, the dentist hygienist gave me the best cleaning I have ever experienced. She is gentle, yet thorough. I never felt even the slightest discomfort. Mel, the dental assistant is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. I am so grateful for the tips she has given me about my at-home dental care. She explains everything that is happening with my treatments in terms that I can understand. She has such a positive attitude that it's contagious! It's always fun to be around Mel. Dr. Kim, the dentist, is also very upbeat and personable. He has a steady gentle touch. I can relax while he is working on my fillings and crowns because I have total confidence in him. So, in conclusion, I can say that because of my care at Avenue Smiles, my general health and well being has significantly improved. When I first came to Avenue Smiles, my teeth and gums were in an awful condition. Now, after several visits and following their treatment plan, I feel so much better. Great staff, excellent service, and convenient location(s)! I have been a patient for more than a year now and have been able to visit both the Redmond and Seattle offices. I have gone for regular cleanings and also just completed a year of clear correct (clear tray orthodontics). Dr. Aditi and the whole staff have been very friendly and accommodating as well as knowledgeable and professional. I have been extremely happy with their service and very thankful for all the help through the year long ortho process. The Seattle location is very convenient for downtown workers. It has been very easy to come in for mid-day or end of day appointments. There is also an office in Redmond that makes it convenient to access treatment east of Lake Washington. read more

Avoid Dr. Sonya at all cost!! She is one of most aggressive, disrepectful and ignorant people I've ever met. I went in for a regular cleaning. She diagnosed me with five cavities that I do not have! Those are stains according to my previous dentists. Dr. Sonya's manner is irritating. Nothing empathetic, nor caring. She is aggressive and eager for more commission money, clearly. She reminded me of my traumatic childhood dental experiences. If you have any anxiety seeing the dentist, then clearly Dr. Sonya is not the one. The hygienist and receptionist are really nice though. The office is clean and location is convenient. But all in all, horrible experience. read more

After calling several "family dentists", I finally found one that truly lives up to it's name. They have been absolutely wonderful with both my son and daughter. My daughter needed 6 fillings and HATES shots. They were so slick that she didn't even know she was getting a shot, either time. On top of that, they shared with her the importance and brushing and flossing in a way that actually got thru to her. She now LOVES taking care of her teeth. She says, "I didn't know taking care of myself could be so fun!" My son only needed a cleaning, but had been traumatized by a previous experience having a tooth pulled. They were very patient with him and helped prove that he could trust them. I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a dentist downtown Seattle. read more

I have been seeing Dr Aditi for over the past 10 years or so and I only have good things to say about her as a dentist and her practice. She puts me as a patient at ease instantly and is very thorough in her treatment. She also treats my kids and has been great with their dental treatment and care. Her staff is very professional and pleasant. This location is a convenient one especially for folks who work downtown but also has a convenient parking garage attached to the building where she has her clinic so it's very convenient to get to. read more

I have been a patient here for more than a year now and have seen all doctors/assistants and have always been satisfied with my experience from making an appointment to getting the treatment done. It is a very professional and clean clinic. The staff and doctors are approachable personally made it easy to ask any questions or raise any concerns that I had with recommended treatment. Apart from regular cleanings I needed a Root Canal done and I experienced the most efficient painless treatment compared to my prior root canals. Dr. Aditi was my dentist for the 3-4 years during the time I lived in Seattle/Redmond. She is a fantastic person. She is warm and friendly. She did an amazing job on my Clear correct treatment and my regular dental cleaning appointments. They are very accommodative. Heather at the Seattle office at front desk is a great help to sort out your billing and appointments. One or two times Dr. Aditi was busy and couldn't make it to my braces appointment and Dr. Sonia took her place. Dr. Sonia was very friendly and was very helpful.
