**July 2026: Thursday Afternoon Visit**…read more Kettle Heroes Artisan Popcorn is such a fun Arizona made stop, and I can definitely see why they won the Devour 2026 People's Choice Award! The brand has a really distinctive local identity and if you're looking for an edible souvenir, this is a great option since their products are allergen-friendly. They're gluten-free, nut-free, and soy-free, and they're also Kosher dairy-certified. I also loved that they have some Southwestern inspired flavors, which makes them feel a little more unique than your average popcorn shop. This is a standalone store, but they also sell online and at select grocery stores like AJ's Fine Foods and Fry's Foods. What I loved about visiting the shop itself is that you can sample all the different varieties, and it's nice to be able to get fresher batches and different sizes straight from the source. I ended up taking home a big bag of their prickly pear popcorn and a normal size bag of the Porcini Truffle Cheddar, which had a really nice savory flavor with real porcini mushrooms, black truffle sea salt, and organic cheddar cheese. Overall, this is a great local-made Arizona product, so support small businesses!

Lastly, the flavors: all of the ones I had (except ghost pepper, but I was just curious about that one) were phenomenal. Whether it was classic vanilla or the tropical "ocean water" flavor. Watermelon was the other one I tried which was also great. It was all a pretty nice experience and you get the cotton candy in a container too so you don't have to eat it in one sitting if you don't want to.

They have lots of options available as far as flavors, sizes and packaging. They were super easy to work with and very good with communication. I ordered Movie Theater and Kettle Corn flavors. They helped me figure out the proper amount for the project I was doing. I picked up the popcorn and found it hard to resist eating it all on the drive home. Both flavors were really good, but in my opinion, the Kettle Corn was exceptional! It was big and fluffy and the perfect blend of sweet and salty. It had a nice little cinnamon flavor to it as well. I'm not a big Movie Theater popcorn fan, but my daughter said that one was very good as well. It was a HUGE hit at the baby shower, and many many complements were heard on the popcorn. I highly recommend them!!

The night market does not dissapoint they have ton of local artists selling artisan items as well as freshly baked sourdough, cookies, tortillas and more. I've been going to the longstanding Farm Store since before COVID and when it was self-serve. Unfortunately the woman staffing it tonight was not friendly and their prices are not clearly labeled either. I will keep supporting this business but one would think that a place that sells $12 bread would have stellar customer service.

Use Twitter and Facebook to rant about the great mask debate. You know why I have been a loyal customer for 10 years? The water taste great, the employees are always pleasant, and, if I've been good on not overdoing carbs that week I can treat my wife and I to a shaved ice or some other treat. I am not down with some bastardized right wing version of cancel culture. Gee whiz, they didn't make masks optional fast enough for you??? So ate you trolling Circle K's and grocery stores too. Small businesses have suffered enough because because we politicized a pandemic... both sides. Go rant on Twitter and leave small business alone. Spare me your medical reasons for suddenly not being able to wear a mask. How did you transact business this past year. My wife is in chronic rejection with a second lung transplant. She is immunosuppressed. Her lungs are too weak to use the high quality mask with replaceable carbon filters that she used for years. Guess what, she can throw on a paper mask, leave some room on the side and breath just fine. BTW my pronouns are semi-rational/imperfect but trying human

I was at the Arizona State University West Valley Campus for a festival earlier this month, and I…read moresaw several food trucks including the Cuties Lemonade & More truck. As I wasn't feeling like dinner but can ALWAYS go for a nice, refreshing lemonade, I thought I'd give it a try. The staff seemed friendly, and they were very quick at preparing the drinks; however, what was advertised on the website didn't exactly seem like what I had received, though it was still tasty. Cuties Lemonade & More has 31 lemonade cocktails and 6 lemonade slushies. I saw that the strawberry lemonade includes Puréed Clancy Strawberries infused with Meyer Lemons sweetened with granulated sugars. It is gluten free, vegetarian, organic, and vegan. While the drink I received looked red with lemons in it and an umbrella on top (and was huge!), I was disappointed not to see any strawberries in it like in the photos of it. I would certainly still consider getting a lemonade from them again, though I was very excited about "pureed strawberries infused with lemons." The story of Cuties Lemonade & More is that of an everyday family that continually gives to the community and doesn't want to stop. The company is a food truck and trailer that serves a variety of REAL fruit-flavored lemonades across Phoenix. Every glass is made-to-order, carefully measured, and fully fresh, according to their website. While I would have liked to have seen the strawberries in the lemonade, I certainly saw fresh lemons with the flavor, pulp, and seeds. In the words of Cuties Lemonade & More, "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Make Lemonade." I look forward to trying it again soon!

You can tell they make their own batter. It had a cornbread taste to it. They come in Epic (Footlong) at $10 or Mini (regular size hot dog) at at $8. They also have small cheese pops for $4. I had an epic and a cheese pop which cost me $14.78. Their food truck says it is honey dipped and I can tell that the texture and taste of the batter is definitely of higher quality than the other corn dogs I've had. The cheese pop was kind of small but it was so deliciously cheesy. If you want to be full, then I suggest ordering two Epics.
