Our old master bathroom
Miguel C.

I completely renovated my master bathroom last winter with Avanti, my wife and I are delighted with the process from start to finish, their employees are professionals and very polite. The communication with Hector and Janeth was clear and helpful. We recommend Avanti for any project you have.

He was incredibly helpful and within a week, he helped me select everything I needed--from tile and cabinetry to the finishing touches. Caleb's knowledge and professionalism gave me complete confidence, so much so that I trusted him with the key to my home and had the entire remodel completed while I was still living out of state. Throughout the project, Caleb kept me updated every step of the way, including when an unexpected issue from a previous owner's work was discovered. He handled it quickly and professionally, keeping the project on track and ensuring everything was completed to my satisfaction. When I finally arrived in North Carolina, I was welcomed by the most beautiful bathroom I could have imagined. I couldn't be happier with the results. I already plan to use The Tile Collection for my kitchen remodel, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

His patience and knowledge of the store's products was amazing! Months later, I came back to order the tile when my remodel was finally ready. He remembered our consultation and arranged everything! Even with glitches in delivery from the supplier they used in Spain, he kept me updated constantly and listened carefully to anddress all my concerns. The installation was seamless and I absolutely love the tile backsplash in my kitchen. My bathroom refresh continued a few months later, and Caleb again met the challenge. He reordered more tile to complete the backsplash. It was only 9 finish pieces I needed, but he took the same care to make sure I got the supplies needed to complete the job. If you are in need of tile or other products, Caleb is your go to for finding the perfect materials for any remodeling needs!

Very disappointing experience, especially because the showroom and slab warehouse itself are…read moreactually quite nice. Check-in was quick, but they heavily pushed us toward the showroom when we specifically wanted to see the slab warehouse. We finally made it back there and found a decent selection, good lighting, and a clean, well-organized space. The problem was that there was essentially no one available to help us, answer questions, or provide any guidance. We spent well over an hour looking through slabs and were seriously trying to make a countertop decision that weekend. When we were leaving, I told the staff at check-in that I wanted samples of several slabs we had selected, but they were overwhelmed checking in more walk-ins and clearly did not have the bandwidth to help the customers already inside. I had places to be, so I left and emailed asking if I could come back for the samples. I didn't receive a response until days later, by which point we had moved on and taken our business elsewhere. It's honestly a shame because they have nice material and a good facility, but what is the point of checking in this many customers if there is no staff available to assist them once they spend an hour in your warehouse? Ultimately, they lost our business simply because nobody could help us. Very disappointing.

It was the 2nd week in October when I first walked in to Dolce Casa. I met the owner Pino. I told…read morehim I was looking to have my master bathroom shower unit removed and a new tile shower installed. I showed Pino some photos of the space and my current bathroom floors and counter tops all of which I wanted to keep in place. Within 10 minutes we put together a plan with the samples he had right in his store. We set a time for him to come over to my home with the samples so I could see how they looked in my space. At first I was unsure of how using glossy porcelain, Italian marble and quartz would look all together. Pino has a very good eye for this sort of thing, he reassured me and got it right the very first time! I was very pleased. Early November demolition started. By mid November the Tiles were up and there was one small issue I expressed with Pino and he immediately had his tile guy fix it. So finally everything was done except for the Measuring of the floating glass shower doors. Right before Thanksgiving, the shower door contractor came to measure. I was made aware that this would take a little time. Two weeks before Christmas I expressed to Pino that I expected these doors to be delivered and installed before Christmas. That afternoon he let me know that the doors would be in on the 24th and could be installed the day after Christmas on the 26th. I said ok. So the day finally came and 45 minutes before I was expecting the shower door installer to arrive the contractor called to explain that nothing that was Ordered, glass or parts were correct. I was not pleased. Fast forward 2 weeks later and all of the correct glass and parts got installed. And guess what!? It looks Beautiful! I am giving Dolce Casa 5 Stars! I have learned that this kind of Home Renovation takes patience and an understanding that there are many moving parts involved. Thank you Pino!

Back for our 4 year review. I've replace a total of 5 broken tiles now. This time I decided to…read moreprovide photo evidence of the shoddy and noob job provided by Pino and Dolce Casa "Tile Boutique". If you're unfamiliar with what tile installers look for when installing your tile .. they look for "80% coverage" for interior installs. If you look at the photos, you'll see I've used a marker to identify the areas which actually contacted the bottom of the tile. This is, at best, about 40% coverage and .. exactly why these tiles Pino installed keep breaking. Also, if you look at the lines left behind by the trowel, you'll see that they are anything but straight lines. This doesn't allow the air trapped under the tile to escape and creates air pockets .. which ALSO are the reason this job is trash. Look, even if you don't trust the words I've written here .. I mean, I get it, you don't know me from a ham sandwich .. just Google anything referenced in this review and you'll see that everything Pino did on this job was substandard at best. If he actually finishes a job for you and it looks okay, you can be assured that just a few years down the road, you're be paying someone else to rip it out and do it again. Stop giving this man your money. He is a huckster and is woefully undertrained. His ego won't allow him to tell you what he doesn't know or understand so, he'll either whip out some horrific attempt at solving your problem or he'll talk you into doing it "his way" .. which he will also do a mediocre job at completing. Back to my regular life of setting aside a few weeks every year to fix the poor "craftsmanship" Pino left behind.
