Please disregard the review from Christina D. This is like walking into the public library and…read morebeing upset that no one comes to take your drink order, then writing a bad review for the library because you mistakenly thought you were in a cocktail bar. A. Hoke LTD is like a library for interior design professionals. It's not a furniture store; they don't sell anything to the public, they operate as a resource where professional interior designers can check out sample fabrics, trims, and wallcoverings for our design presentations to our clients. The furniture samples you see in the showroom are helpful when we have clients who wish to sit on a sample chair or sofa prior to committing to a custom order, or we might purchase them for a client project or showhouse if we'r on a tight deadline. Christina assumed that the professional men and women she saw clustered around the order desk were all employees who were ignoring her business, but those people were likely the interior designers who ARE the customers of this business, conferring with A. Hoke employees about product availability etc. When I'm visiting the showroom to work on a client's project, I'm there on a mission and I definitely don't want to be accosted by showroom staff trying to "sell" me on a new line. I don't need/want anyone to ask me if I'm "finding what I'm looking for," either. Honestly, it really is like a library -- I know my way around the stacks, I usually don't need help and want to be left alone to work, but I know that the staff is there to help me if I do need help locating a substitute for a discontinued fabric or something like that. I've done a lot of business with A. Hoke over the last two decades and I can vouch for the professionalism, fantastic customer service and support I've received when I really needed it -- like when a furniture company went into bankruptcy AFTER we'd placed a deposit on special order pieces for my client's project, but BEFORE any furniture had been delivered. Sue at A. Hoke's furniture desk saved that project (and my reputation with my client) by leveraging her clout to get that deposit money back so we could apply it to a new order with a different manufacturer. I remember when I was first starting out as an interior designer, when it was so hard to get trade accounts opened for my business because every company seemed to want trade references from other companies you were already set up with first, and A. Hoke was so welcoming and helpful with that, too (unlike another To the Trade showroom we had in Charlotte at that time). When Christina walked into A. Hoke wanting to shop for wing chairs, no one bothered her even though she strictly speaking was not supposed to be there. They didn't demand to see her design credentials and her resale ID and "how is your business registered with us;" instead they gave her the benefit of the doubt that she was a legitimate interior designer and left her alone to get her work done in peace.

They saw me come in and did not greet me or ask me if I need any assistance. This store is completely empty I am the only customer that is currently shopping. From the looks of it they do not sell Wingback chairs but if they had I would take my money elsewhere.

After much research we decided to go with ProLux Remodeling to upgrade our two bathrooms and man,…read moreare we glad we did! Most of the other companies that we contacted were pushing vinyl inserts for the showers/tubs in lieu of tile and vinyl flooring at the price you can get the real thing for. It may take longer to install the real thing over the one day installation their competitors advertise but we found it's well worth the wait for the real thing! ProLux Remodeling is out to please their customers. Their goal seems to be to make their customers "happy" and we are definitely that! We want to thank Hunter, Will, Andy, Alissa and Michael along with Rony and his crew for making our experience perfect! Sheila And Eddie Davidson

The best part is we LOVE our kitchen. We are SO glad we made the decision to remodel. And very thankful that we found Prolux.

The sales and design portion started out well, but the execution did not meet our expectations. We…read morewent with them because they could design some areas and spaces that we needed for our office, however, when executed, our designer did not think through that I am not 6 feet tall and I have to stand on my tip toes to reach the door handles to ALL of my upper cabinets (10 total)...would you be satisfied if you paid a large sum of money and you can't reach your door handles and nobody has even followed up with you after your project to see if you are happy with it after a month? I am still missing 2 drawers that they didn't cut right because of the pop-up plug that they didn't account measurements for. My 2 bottom file drawers have major space in between the files - poorly designed, total waste of space. The counter top which is a quartz is very thin and I recall the sample being much thicker. The installers - don't get me started. When I told the sales gal about it, she just gave me this blanket message about passing it along to the install manager. They didn't do anything about it, and the next day they cut in our garage and my daughter who was getting ready to go to college had all of her stuff in there, it had sawdust all over it and we had to wipe everything down because there was sawdust all over everything in our garage. They swept but they didn't account for the layers of sawdust on everything. Inside my office, they left tools all over my office desk, inside the cabinets, they left a ladder on top of my desk with a broom, tools just laying on the cabinets, there was a caulking gun leaking on top of my quartz countertop. There was sawdust all inside my cabinets and on my floors. I had to do so much clean up after they left throughout all the cabinets and my floors and dust everything top to bottom. There's a few issues with some splintering that we have not yet heard back from anyone and it's been a month since they finished. We've paid, A LOT of money for this office, it sure does seem like they took they money and ran. While the cabinets are nice, customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and there were a lot of things that did not get addressed.

I went yesterday to get some tile for my garage project and they had tiles out on the front parking area where they were shampooing and cleaning them with a scrub brush. It's obvious they take pride in their work and want their customers to enjoy the tile as much as they do. Their bathroom is very clean if you need to visit it, and their grout options seem limitless.
