We chose Flooring Clearance Center based on some positive reviews. However, in our case we were not so fortunate. We've been married 43 years and owned 18 different homes and have dealt with many contractors! With the Flooring Clearance Center in Fort Mill, SC we dealt with some of the most dishonest people I think we have come across .Called Colt ( the owner ) multiple times and have yet to talk with him. In addition to Colt, we dealt with Jason, James and Colin. To much to mention on here but my message is to beware ! Look into more than their solicited reviews. Look over contract and pricing closely. Our opinion is to Find someone else to do your floors. Having said that the guys that actually did the job actually worked hard and did a good job. Found these guys by google search and yelp. I had no idea this little flooring store was relatively close to me. They have a large selection well organized in a small space, the entire staff including the owner are very warm and welcoming. I simply went in looking for a low-cost carpet to replace in my spare room, and they did not try to upsell me at all. They confirmed my appointment the day before, they installer called prior to coming, and they installed the carpet quickly and efficiently, and it looks great.
