My consult ended up being my first treatment for laser hair removal for my upper lip and my underarms. Angela was very easy-going, polite, funny, and considerate. She answered every question I had and was very honest and upfront about potential side effects. She spent time talking through different plans and understood Inwould be leaving soon for several months. It was her idea to go ahead and treat me that day and I jumped on board with no hesitation (and I am a person who always has a ton of questions and tend to be skeptical). When she started on my lip she explained everything she was about to do, as well as what I was about to feel. Her light humor had me laughing a little, so it took a minute to continue. It was like she said, like I was being popped with a small rubber band, but the sting went away almost instantly. The underarms were more sensitive so the sting was sharper, but it went away almost instantaneously as well. The procedure for both areas took two minutes tops. She gave me some hydrocortisone cream and sunscreen, and made sure I understood to stay out of the sun for a week. This was a month ago. I hate the prickly feeling of underarm hair and would shave every day, sometimes twice a day. After my first laser treatment, I shaved every two days, and that was only for appearances. The hair was so fine I couldn't feel it. The hair on my upper lip took a bit longer to grow back before I noticed it, and even then I couldn't see it, I would just feel it. It came back patchey, fine, and I could not make out the dark color it had been before. My second treatment, yesterday, was much quicker. I asked more questions about how the laser picks up on the finer hair, and Angela informed me adjustments are made based on the clients feedback. She is the one who noticed the lip hair was coming back patchy. That is how unnoticeable it was to me. She went much faster with the laser and the sting seemed to be felt much less. Perhaps because the hair was more fine...? My appointment had been for 2:45, she came out on time, and I was out front ready to pay exactly 15 minutes later. The three girls at the front (one seemed to be in training) were just as light hearted, funny, and considerate as Angela. They made an effort to get to know me and were extremely approachable and uplifting. Angela had made cookies for Valentine's Day and jokes were made about calories not counting on holidays. I took one and it was delicious and nicely decorated. The place is very well kept and has a light atmosphere. The girls at the front were discreet with other clients, and if I heard what type of procedure had been done, it was from the client herself. Great place, great people, and great results. The price is very manageable and I'm already saving money on razors! I highly recommend anyone to come in, at least for a consultation. It's eye opening. read more

Lisa is the RN who performed the service for me. I had lip augmentation and I asked specifically for more natural look. She went through the process and discussed with me exactly what would be done and when it would be done. She reviewed everything including the 2 week post procedure follow up appointment. The results are quite spectacular as I have the same lips I did about 15 years ago. You may not be able to fight mother nature but you can sure work with what you got and make it look better. And Lisa did that. as for pain little bit of a pinch here and there but no big fat hairy deal. When I called the first time they said they didn't have any available openings and to call back. When I called a second time, no one answered and I left a voice mail. They never called me back. Just had IPL on arms and legs to get rid of freckles and sun spots. I had gotten an IPL on the face a few months ago and saw noticeable results. I got bad impression at the first time. I had booked appointment for skin consultant 3 weeks in advance but when I came they said they did not have anyone to do it. The young receptionist later on had to do the consulting herself. While she is really nice and lovely, I was hoping at least a doctor could see me for the consultation. Another time, I booked two appointments 1 month in advance, one for me, one for my mom at the same time. 2 days before the appointment date, I called to confirm our appointments and then they said they cancelled my Mom's appointment because no one was available to do facial for her. Once again, to be clear, they did not even called me to let me know that they already canceled my Mom's appointment until I called them, which I was not and should not required to do. Because they cancelled my Mom appointment completely out of the blue without letting me know, I wanted to make sure that they still kept me appointment and they confirmed with me, twice, that my appointment was at 4pm, not 3:45pm, not that I have to come 15 minutes early, etc ... At the day of appointment, I got there at 4:08pm, because I could not find a parking, and they said I had to come back another day because, guess what, my appointment was at 3:45pm so I was more than 20 minutes late. When I confronted them about my appointment time, they then said that oh my appointment was at 4pm BUT I had to be there at 3:45pm. Soooooo if I had to be there at 3:45pm then my appointment is at 3:45pm, not at 4pm, so 20 minutes late so no can't do, had to reschedule. To be fair, when the technician came out and saw my frustration, she took me in and started my scheduled treatment. I give them 3 stars and not 1 because: _ after 1 time for chemical feel and two time laser, my skin did lighten up a little bit, not like they said when they was consulted, but it did nonetheless, so credit when credit is due. I'm waiting for the final result and will update this review. _ the first receptionist that I met, the one that had to do the consulting because no consultant showed up, was very nice. _ the technician that took me in when I was 8 minutes late but was 23 minutes late because my appointment was actually 4pm but technically was at 3:45pm even though they confirmed it twice that it was at 4pm, was very nice, very lovely and very throughly. read more
