Upon entering the store, you're greeted by a massive pile of carrots, celery, and a strong vegetable scent. I saw that the employees were fresh blending and juicing every order. I instantly knew I had to try this place out. They had a variety of items ranging from green juices to smoothies. They also had a few cold dishes like chicken/tuna salads. I ordered a kiwi berry smoothie & it was really delicious. It wasn't too sweet & had the right amount of tartness. Overall, I would definitely come back if I was ever in the area again! 10/10!

The cashier didn't greet me or acknowledge me, so I had to ask, "Do I order with you?" She simply replied, "Yes." I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread, but she looked confused and asked me to repeat myself. I pointed to the picture on the counter that clearly showed the sandwich on squaw bread. She then told me that it was something the owner was going to implement. That left me wondering why it's being advertised if it's not actually available. It doesn't make sense to display menu items that customers can't order. The only reason I tried this place was because I saw a glowing review on TikTok and wanted to give it a chance. Unfortunately, my first impression was far from what I expected, and I don't plan on returning.

The matcha chia seed putting was my favorite. There was something in my bowl, I'm guessing their matcha powder, that had a really funky flavor. But honestly, that's part of the charm. It's like Gardena's version of a speakeasy... except instead of cocktails, you're sneaking in for a fat Italian sandwich. Let me tell you, my Pop's Italian sandwich came out looking like it was sexy and ready to be destroyed. All grown. Mature. Responsible. This thing had layers on layers, stacked like it was trying to win a bodybuilding competition. Generous portions...Understatement. I got excited...I picked it up and immediately felt like I needed to stretch first. It's filling, flavorful, and hits you with that perfect combo of salty, savory, and "I should've worn looser clothes." Service is friendly in that classic neighborhood "G-Town" way, quick, warm, and no nonsense. They're not trying to be fancy; they're trying to feed you. And they do it well. You walk in, order, vibe for a bit, and boom, sandwich magic. By the time I finished the Pop's Italian, I had to sit in my car for a minute and reevaluate my life's next choices. I've been here three times, and each visit has fallen well short of the experience provided by other nearby locations. The staff often seemed disengaged and gave off the impression that they wanted us to hurry up and order. Most recently, I ordered a simple mini Pitaya bowl and a smoothie. After waiting more than 15 minutes and watching several customers who ordered after us receive their food first, I had to ask about the status of my order. We discover our order was just sitting there on a side table. No one had announced our order whatsoever. What made the delay even more frustrating was that we had frozen groceries in the car that needed to be taken home. My son and I had an appointment nearby and he asked if we could have this for lunch. I'm always up for trying new places, so I agreed. We came in, and were welcomed by a tall gentleman at the entrance with, "Pick up?" I said no and he walked over to the cashier's side as he saw me perusing the menu; he asked if this was my first time. I confirmed and he went over the menu; which I appreciated. I opted for the broccoli cheddar baked potato bowl with steak and shrimp, while my son went for the spaghetti and meatballs. The gentleman was kind enough to offer us samples of the beverages. I really liked the orange drink, while my son loved the berry drink. I paid the check and then the guy asked if we were dining in or taking out; and I confirmed we would be dining in. This is where things went sideways. I completed my order at 12:03 but we didn't get our food until 12:25; then when we got our food, there were no drinks. I had to get up and line up to remind the cashier about the drinks. 22 minutes for these two dishes and then another three minute wait to get the drinks I ordered 25 minutes ago; that is overkill in my opinion. The whole process was confusing. I'm assuming the cashier was supposed to give us our drinks when I paid but he forgot. There was no explanation on how the process works. I assumed we would be called out by name, since he asked for my name while ringing up my order. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice. This was my first impression and though the lengthy delay and confusing experience didn't leave a great impression on me; the food was still tasty and if I do return, I will likely stick to take out.
