This place just opened up 2 days ago so the service high and they have great opening promotions. Great time to get in and start building relationships. Tom did a very nice job on my basic pedi and Michael did my refill perfectly. I just moved to the area and looking for a new salon. Ava is looking real promising. I am extremely pleased with the lashes I got. These are HALF set (25 lashes per eye) #13 length. I'm not about dramatic or glamorous lashes. My lashes have thinned over the years and I was just interested in a very natural look with a little length so I don't need to put mascara on every morning. This was exactly what I was looking for! I only wished I'd taken a "before" picture as a point of reference. Kelly asked that I not post a picture because it was only a half set. But I was so pleased so I can't help myself. She can do full and glamorous sets, but if you're like me, I strongly recommend going to this salon. read more

The salon opened up a couple weeks ago and went with Yelp reviews to find Ava's. Was looking for a salon nearby that could keep up with my changing moods and creative nail design needs. Mike did an excellent job with my gel mani with marble - and I thoroughly enjoyed my pedi from Kelly. My only caution - I was charged $15 for what I consider a "simple" nail design! I don't know if it's because they were offering a 20% off for their grand opening, but if that is the normal design charge, Ava's would not be top of my list for future now designs. read more

I really wish I would've stuck to my gut feeling but a girl was desperate to get her nails done! The person I typically go to only works on Thursday and Sunday and I had an event to go to. Long story short I went in on Friday and specifically let Tom know what I wanted (showed him a picture and everything) he told me he can do it ...mind you if you can't do something I would prefer for you to be honest and tell me this is not something you can do. I would be totally fine getting normal polish.. anyway he proceeded to paint and do "designs" but was making a complete mess and had to keep fixing his errors. Eventually I took the brush and fixed it myself, I was trying to be nice but y'all.. it was very sloppy. I was charged $45 for a gel fill-in and $15 for design which was just French and one finger on each hand with the measly squiggly lines. All my friends and family members said it looked horrible and not only that but by Sunday night it started chipping! I went back Monday on my lunch break and told him I was unhappy with the results and believe it was poorly done I would like a polish change, he did an okay job besides the fact that he left the previous color all over the inside of my finger nails and behind it. I was charged an additional $25 just for a gel polish change!!! I was furious, and explained to another worker or manager that if it was properly done in the first place I wouldn't have came back! Anyone would agree that you are paying your hard earned money for good quality work and not it being rushed and completely sloppy! I have NEVER wrote a review in my life but these people really are running a sh*t show! I do not recommend coming here at all! read more

I've been going to this spa for about a year. I regularly get gel pedicures and acrylic manicures. Mike is my favorite nail technician for my fills and full sets--he's quick and does an amazing job. I've had mixed service with the other technicians. I don't specifically remember who did what at this point, so overall, I'd give this establishment a 4/5. BEWARE!! I really hate to even write this review but I feel that it would be unfair of me not to share this with you all. Do not come here and work with the tech with red hair. (Apologies for not knowing her name). I came in for a simple acrylics removal of a set that I got here two weeks prior. I called ahead of time and made an appointment but when I got there, there was no record of an appointment. I was seen by the next technician off their rotating list (perfectly fine). Then the entire visit went downhill... The nail tech started taking off my nails by force with a cuticle cutter. When I tell you she PULLED the acrylic off my hand I am not exaggerating. She took the cuticle cutters and an unused nail extension tip to physically peel off my acrylics. I started wincing in pain and she did not apologize or ease up. It got to the point where I was going to cry when I finally asked "aren't you going to use acetone or anything to soak it off?" She then said "fine". Takes a bottle of acetone, dumps it into the bowl without filing down the acrylics anymore. BOOM. Instant pain, my nail bed are on fire. While my hands are soaking she takes a FaceTime call using a Bluetooth headset she has on. No biggie, I don't really care when nail techs answer calls because it's usually a "I'm with a client ill call you back" but no, she stays one the phone and then goes in the back for ten minutes. Upon coming back, she's still on the phone and doesn't even acknowledge me, just came back to get her phone out of her table. Meanwhile the acetone is pretty much evaporated, my skin is white and the acrylic is ready to be sanded off. She looks at my nails, wipes them off with paper towels and then goes in the back again for another 10 minutes. It got to the point where I just started peeling off the acrylic myself with my opposite hands. She comes back and yells "no! They're not ready!", leaves for another ten minutes. She finally comes back and uses her Dremel to file off the excess acrylic. She then asks me what shape I want, I tell her almond and she says "you can't with this nail" referencing the one that she cut down with the cuticle cutters earlier and butchered. I asked for oval then. My nails were so thing they just kept breaking. We eventually just had to cut them completely down. She then uses an old Bath and Body works wall flower dispenser filled with what I assume is cuticle oil on my nail beds. The whole procedure should've taken at most 20 minutes ended up taking 50 minutes, and was a complete waste of money. I will never be returning to this salon. Never. I could've done a better job on my own at home had I know they were going to ruin my nails. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

Be careful when you go do your toe nails in this salon. They left my feet all scratched up, But my main disappointment was dealing with the most rudest manager, a very unprofessional and nastiest person i have ever encountered. Go somewhere else! read more

Had a scheduled appointment and had to wait. Appointments are not honored or respected. They should not take appointments and only take walk ins. Gel manicure started chipping in 4 days. Pedicure chipped in 3 days. Likely old polish because I was on vacation with chipped nails and feet. It was a waste of $60 and a waste of time. Don't go here. read more

Couldn't be more in love with this business. I'm incredibly picky about my nails because I've had bad experiences in the past. But Mike is great, he takes his time and makes sure my nail shape is exactly how I asked for it. I highly recommend them, but I would also advise to call ahead and make an appointment. read more

Friendly nail salon and laid back atmosphere but that's all I can see that's positive. I've given this establishment multiple chances due to it being close to my house but I'm never satisfied. I've gotten a pedicure here twice both times my feet were rough within one week or less of having a pedicure. Also, my no chip gel manicures always chip one week or less after getting them, I polished my toes once with cheap dollar polish and that lasted longer than their gel polish. read more

Mike has been doing my nails for years! Soooo excited he has his own shop now! The "Happy Feet" pedicure by Tom was probably one of the best I've ever had. Beautiful salon. Mike is a great tech and does outstanding designs. Had another tech do my pedicure(I went with the middle option $50 and got the wax), he was very tentative and didn't rush through it. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks. I had an 11:15 am appointment and I arrived ontime for a gel manicure and simple spa pedicure. I selected my color and waited 30 min to start my service. This was middle of the week with little shop activity. Lisa was my pedicure technician and showed me the rate card. I attempted to upgrade my pedicure but she was unable to explain the difference between mud pedicure and paraffin pedicure so I did not upgrade. Lost sale. After my pedicure I waited 60 minutes and was assigned Jennifer. I asked Jennifer what options were available for me to add mail length but she was unable to answer so I did not uograde my gel manicure. Another lost sale. My manicure by Jennifer was not done well. All of my nail sizes are different. I was scared that she (Jennifer)was going to cut me. I watched multiple customers come in and told by Tom to wait 30 min and they waited for more than an hour. I had an appt and was there over 2 hours most of the time sitting in a chair watching the same nail video on the tv. Lisa was great and that was the best part of this experience but it is not enough to make me everrrrr return. 1 star for making an appt and the excessive wait, nails different sizes and just poor service. Biggest hell no is the loud classical music. Omgg. After 10 mins I want to scream. Fortunately my nail tech was fast and did a great job. I did get two broken nails the same week but not sure if that was my fault. Also, this place is fairly new so its semi clean but they need to keep their place spotless. This place is about 30 minutes from my house and I went there tonight to meet a friend because it was a midpoint for the two of us. I would make the drive again and again. My technician was Nick and he took his time and did a really fantastic and thorough job. He had strong hands on the balls of my feet and was still very meticulous about paint job. Everything in the place seems very sanitary and clean and well cared for. Nice comfortable chairs good spacing between the person sitting next to you in the pedicure chair and even offered a bottle of water. Good color selection too. Well Worth the stop. read more

Came today to check out my new local company. Beautiful interior design and very cleanly. When you walk in it seems as though you can get the movie star treatment. I looked in the brochure for services. Asked the front and they explained they have all services but microblading at the time. So I scheduled for mani pedi and eyelash tinting. Unfortunately he thought I said eyebrows, so service was not provided. When I asked about the nail art designs they show on the TV or pintrest, they said they could only do simple designs. By this point I was highly disappointed, as I was already sitting down for service. The staff started to seem agitated by my request for advertised services. So I just settled for your average mani pedi. Guess I won't be getting the pampering and spoil treatment I was hoping to pay for. Good quality products, good qaulity work, but poorly advertised. Also ask about your prices some vary from brochure. Minor amounts but still not accurate. read more

Yikes. Went for a mani pedi and someone's mother didn't teach them to color within the lines.... I went home and erased everything before I could take a photo to post here. I also noticed they are selling expired products. I was interested in one of the hand lotions and good thing the expiration date caught my eye. The initial impression was great because it's new and looks clean but upon closer inspection, you notice a lot of dirty areas that clearly haven't been touched/cleaned. With the pandemic, you would assume establishments performed deep cleans. I highly doubt this is the case here. read more
