I got my eyebrows done 10 days ago from Brow Art located in the huge Arundel Mall. I got seated immediately and the lady who did my eyebrows shaped them well. She adjusted the eyebrows to my desired thickness as I like them that way. I paid $15 + tip as she used a painless technique for threading. But, I'm unable to give them 5 stars or even 4 stars as the lady had left a lot of baby hairs unattended which were only visible later on at home. And, last but not least, my eyebrows already started growing back although it's been less than 2 weeks which can only mean one thing : They didn't use a good thread to do it. Happened a few times with other parlors so I know. Sorry Brow Art. Not coming back again. read more

Great service from the eyebrow artists. Also was recommended to use the brow serum which worked for me. Even when it's busy someone always acknowledges you instead of ignoring you, which makes a Huge difference for such a personal and close contact industry. I believe all staff still wear masks so they are not just in your whole face breathing Haven't been disappointed read more

I love the care and attention to detail that Sapana takes when sculpting my eyebrows. My brow girl is on vacay and my brows needed love. After bad eyebrow waxes, I stick to threading only! The lady who did my brows (Bandi) did a very good job. She was able to clean up my brows since I'm letting them grow out & back to my natural shape. Afterwards, she cleaned me up using some oils. She then offered to tint my brows at no additional charge. She showed me how to properly use eyebrow powder. So no more no more sharpie brows! read more

So, if the ladies are learning how to do eyebrows then they definitely should say something. If I could go lower then one star I definitely would. I've been getting my eyebrows done for over 8 years never has my skin ripped. To add on to that now my eyebrows are bumped all the way up. I WILL NOT RETURN! I just got my eyebrows threaded & tinted here, i will NOT be coming back. i thought i would give it a try but i'm so mad at the results. before we started, i asked her not to take too much off & leave them thick. she proceeded to thin them out so much that my middle part is GONE. the brow tinting was a joke, it was not neat or sharp. i had to ask repeatedly to fix it & in the end, i gave up because she started being aggressive when moving my head. she did not know what she was doing at all. read more

Terrible experience! I had several cuts on my eyelid after eyebrow threading. It was clear that the ladies in this kiosk had no experience and should not be threading eyebrows. The gashes that are left on my eyelids probably will cause scarring because they are quite deep! I was planning to thread the upper lip as well but left for obvious reasons. She did not even apologize- just stood there looking apathetic. I paid her but left stunned at the lack of professionalism and with my eyelid searing with pain. I highly recommend that you AVOID this brow threading kiosk at Arudel Mill Mall. read more

I just got my eyebrows done. And i hate them! One is shorter than the other. One is noticeably thinner than the other. I have thick eyebrows and literally have never had someone shape them so bad.. it's so much hair to work with. I wouldn't recommend. I'm pissed! read more

I don't think people understand how traumatic it is when you mess up someone's eyebrows... I've been going to this place for awhile and overall they have been pretty decent.. Once the lady did my brows too thin but I thought maybe it was my lack of explanation.. Well this time when she finished I looked in the mirror and one brow was crazy thin and the other wasn't.. When I pointed it out to her, she offered to make the other one look just as crazy to match but that made zero sense to me! So instead we put a little makeup on it I paid and left.. I will say that this will be my last visit, I rather go back on the hunt for another eyebrow place then to have them screw up again! I can't be all willy nilly when it comes to my eyebrows because it would be the first thing people notice if I'm constantly looking surprised! read more

Update (12/12/2017) - So obviously I've been going for a while. Just wanted to add that I've services by four different people and it has always been top notch! They are also very sympathetic to the fact that I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to getting the upper lip done. (Yeowch, that stings.) ______________ They are now in their own store (near Burlington). Rejoice! I admit, I would have never gone while they were at the kiosk because dorks such as myself will titter as they walk by. The woman who did my brows was a true Browologist; going back and forth, scrutinizing, touching up, until Ta-da! Two perfect eyebrows. Added bonus: They're open on Sundays. read more

Went in for a clean up of my eyebrows and the tech gave me a complete shave. There is no longer an arch and my eyebrows are thin. I specifically told her that I ONLY want a clean up and she said she understood!!!! NOT!!!!! Will NEVER go there again! I HATE thin eyebrows!!!! read more

I'm sorry but I'm over this franchise. I went in and explicitly told the young lady that I wanted her to clean up my existing arch. That is all. She agreed amd I guess between the time that I laid my head back and when she put the thread in your mouth, she decided that I needed a thinner shape. :: face palm :: I guess it wouldn't have been so bad had she shaved a little off the top and kept it moving but noooooooo not this one. She wanted to show her creative side.My eyebrows came out looking like a jack o laterns smile, the jagged one and I left there with eyebrow pencil in hand. I would rather walk around looking like Chubaka than let employees of this establishment touch my brows. P.S. Fast and precise. Found my new spot. She had me done in 5 mins and she is very gentle. Didn't take off too much. Kept the arch nice. All for $12. I recommend this place. Tip: come in through Burlington coat factory and walk to mall. You will see scrub shop, make a right and it right there. :) read more

Found this place based upon the reviews here. Thanks guys! Great place. Quick, simple, and reasonably priced. I started threading about a year and a half ago? And I'm not an calendar client by any means. So sometimes I'm a little more grown in. It never matters. They listen and are gentle. I've never been hurt during the threading or upset by the end results. My boyfriend came with me once thinking it'd take a while and started reading. Not seven minutes later I was done and paid. Absolutely will be back. read more

My first time ever getting threaded was in high-school. I never got my eyebrows done until I was a sophomore (I was a boy...obvi) and the first time I got waxed my face was red for days. Even though I looked like a got punched in the face and/or had pink eye for days, I still always got waxed until my friend made me go threading with her. These "Threaders" were so cool to watch, it was amazing. The practitioner takes two long entangled pieces of cotton thread and skillfully wraps them around the unwanted hairs, removing them in one clean movement. The process is fast; an almost artistic scissoring gesture that gently and quickly removes hair from the root of the follicle. Why I like threading over wax: It does not contain harmful bacteria and/or chemicals such as wax, it is great for people who have sensitive skin, works faster than waxing and lasts longer (way longer). I love coming here now! I will never get my eyebrows waxed again. I leave their little padded seat with a clean and fresh look =) read more

Not happy. I asked for a clean up, as in only remove the stray hairs and give it a little shape... I ended up with super thin eyebrows. She over threaded my brows that I will now have to fill it in for months to come. Never coming here again. read more

Trash establishment. I have very thick eyebrows, which I love. I specifically asked for a clean up and explained that I did not want my brows thin. I ended up with super thin brows and a arch on one brow that makes me look crazy. When I asked for a manager the woman acted like she didn't understand my request. My brows are literally ruined for the next two months due to the dumb bitch that did my brows here. read more

This is such an overdue review as most of my reviews are because I've been slackin. I'm getting back on it because yelp has helped me out with places so much its time to give back! With that said, I am hooked on eyebrow threading! Inexpensive, no ingrown hairs, and it lasts linger and is less painful than waxing or plucking. My review is based on all three locations near me (annapolis mall, arundel mills, and Columbia mall). I would say Columbia is my favorite. It's no longer at a kiosk like at arundel mills and annapolis mall and I felt the woman there spent more time fixing my way overdue scraggly mess of brows. I have been getting my brows done at all 3 locations for 2 years now. Columbia its $11 and the other locations is $12. They do other hair services but thankfully I just need my brows done. They have helped me get a beautiful and exotic shape and have respected my request that I'm trying to grow them out unlike at cheap wax places that are not hygenic and leave me with thin unarched brows. I can't say it enough! Love brow art! read more

I went to Arundel Mills Brow Art today to get my eyebrows arched. There's a kiosk down the same aisle as Broadway shoes I explained that I wanted my eyebrows shaped thick not thin. The lady seemed to be annoyed with me asking for the service. She started doing my eyebrows instead of pulling them out from the root (the way it should be done) she just clipped the edges of my eyebrow. this means the eyebrow will grow back faster. Of course they think you're going to come back to them but...NOT! I watched her take her time with a Middle Eastern woman before me but when she got to me it took her three minutes for $12. I might as well have got my eyebrows waxed for $8. I let her know I wasn't pleased with the service. She didn't care and I won't be going back there. read more

This place is okay. I like that its in a physical location instead of a kiosk. When I got there I was 5th in line and luckily 3 people ahead of me decided to leave. It sucks that they don't take appointments and I could see this place being crowded because of the tourist location. The girl who did my eyebrows was very efficient and fast. I'm satisfied with the job that was done, but I will definitely make sure I have time to wait next time I go. read more

Absolutely awful. Specifically stated multiple times "I just want a clean up, not thin please". Of course they didn't listen and proceeded to fuck up my brows making them EXTREMELY thin. I reluctantly payed and walked around the mall getting more and more upset so I went back and asked for a refund. I was told next time I come I could get it done for free. I said there won't be a next time, if I was unhappy with my services today why would I come back a second time? They then demanded I show them a picture of my brows for "proof" that they are usually done better and more thick. Once I showed them pictures of my naturally thick brows that they had already seen before she threaded them to lines, she told me to just fill them in with color. What the fuck? Excuse me? I told her again I just want a refund and they'd be at a loss of the same amount of money whether I got a refund or came back and got my brows threaded for free. They FINALLY gave me my money back and proceeded to tell me "don't come back here". As if I ever planned on it. A fucking joke. read more

This business is located inside the Arundel Mills mall at one of those kiosk places. I gave 3 stars based on my one visit, There was only one worker so I had to wait at least 20 minutes for my turn. My brows came out great. I will return for future threading, Only 3 stars because of one employee and lack of privacy/quiet/relaxing area. read more

Brow Art is my "go to" eyebrow place. I've been to several different locations and can say that the services provided are consistently good. I went to the Arundel Mills location and gave the brow artist a very specific description of how I like by brows and she knew exactly what I meant. She did such a great job. The Owings Mills location is nearest to my house...so Im a regular there, but whenever I'm in the Anne Arundel Co. area, this location will hold the crown for best brows in town. read more

This is my favorite eyebrow threading place. I rotate between this location and the Waldorf one depending where I am. The ladies are much nicer and more precise. I have had issues of over threading to the point that my skin starts to bleed, but never at this place. The prices are pretty reasonable, and they accept credit/ debit. read more

My appointment stretched over two hours, during which I was attended to by three different technicians. At one point, the second technician had to leave to assist another customer, which led to a frustrating 45-minute wait without any nail polish being applied. To make matters worse, I was simply left sitting there. The only thing I received during this delay was an extended chair massage, while I watched the woman next to me being tended to by the technician who had originally been assigned to me. I clearly communicated my desired nail color to Cody, the first technician, and reiterated my choice again to the second one. However, by the time the third technician arrived, I could no longer find the reference image I had initially provided due to the long wait. Consequently, I ended up with two coats of baby pink polish, which was nothing like what I had originally envisioned. The woman beside me, who my second technician began serving, actually received a full pedicure and waxing before they even thought to address my toes again. This occurred after I had already been in the salon for over 30 minutes, which left me feeling completely overlooked. It was clear to me they weren't accommodating walk-ins effectively. All I wanted was to get my feet polished. The overall experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Furthermore, the pricing was confusing. I requested a standard pedicure without gel, but was told that would incur an extra charge. This is concerning, as it felt like unexpected fees were being pushed onto customers. On top of that, I didn't even receive the foot massage that is usually a part of the pedicure until I specifically asked for it from the third technician. This oversight truly took away from the relaxation I was hoping to achieve. I ultimately paid $38 and left a $10 tip, but I left feeling frustrated as the salon didn't offer any form of concession for the trouble I endured. To top it all off, when I got home, I discovered a cut on the side of my foot and realized that the callus removal had not even been completed. The owner Thomas and his wife arrived around 30 minutes before I was leaving. They attempted to appease me with excuses for the technicians' performance, attributing it to a breakdown in communication. Their absence during my appointment left me uneasy about their dedication to customer service. Ultimately, the experience did not meet my expectations at all, and I have no plans to return.

Christina asked me to complete a skin questionnaire upon my arrival, and at the beginning of the appointment, she assessed my skin carefully (but without the judgmental comments that I unnecessarily had feared) and recommended the facial that she thought would be best for me. Each step of the way throughout the facial, Christina explained what she was doing, and she also provided helpful skin tips and insights. She truly took her time, and she clearly took pride in providing quality, individualized care to me (and to her clients overall, I would think). At the end of the facial, Christina also provided me a nice travel-size kit of skincare products (with detailed individualized recommendations) to put me on the right path for post-facial skincare. Christina introduced me to the skincare line that she uses and that she offers for sale to her clients, but she did not pressure me to buy products. I fully recommend Christina and Skin Zen Escape. I believe the disconnect is they are used to servicing those with thick, dark eyebrows and dont know what to do with thinner, lighter brows. Well, you arch them too without trying to save them for thickness that we dont have in the first place. You can't service everyone the same.

With the mindset of, people make mistakes, I went back today and again, had a bad experience. I got a gel Manicure with the wax option (extra cost) and a Dip powder manicure. My one toe has sways in it, my finger near the cuticle was filed down too much which resulted in bleeding and soreness, all of my fingernails are different lengths and uneven thickness, and there are bubbles in my fingernails. This service was no where near worth the $135 I spent there today! Loved this place when my tech Tracy worked there since she left I have had nothing but issues.

No sign of any activity, no marking on the door, no answer to phone calls! I did not stop there! I then decided to send an email, not surprised that that too did not go through, as you can see in the reply I received after sending the email! Run, run, run! This spa does current exist!
