My employee and I received the worst customer service I've possibly ever seen today from thus auto zone. after the guy was very rude and unprofessional he tried to charge me tondo a battery check and once i left he refused to let me spean ti a manager or even call. Quick and accommodating! We came in around 6pm weekday to get bucket seat covers for our daughter's new truck. We put them on as soon as we got out in the parking lot. Her first choice was a bit so we came right back in and they was happy to exchanged for us. They asked if we should put the second set on it first before they do the final exchange. Stopped in to buy some screws to attach my license plate, which had previously been stolen. The gentleman there was very thorough and asked me several questions to which I didn't have the answers. He offered to take a look at the vehicle to make sure I purchased exactly what I needed. I'm so glad he did. I actually needed more than just a couple of screws. My friend Coco and I came in here earlier today because I needed a new starter for my car. I had previously gone to Knecht's Auto Parts and attempted to buy it. However, there are two types of engines made for my car's make/model/year, which the employee there had no idea which one I needed. Coco pulled it out to take it in and make sure we got the correct part. She suggested AutoZone, as she uses it frequently in Portland, and gets a discount being an Uber driver. I previously had the notion that they were super expensive in comparison to Knecht's Auto Parts and even other stores like it. I soon found out this wasn't the case. So we go in and meet Justin. He was incredibly helpful and really what made this a 5 star experience. I was beyond impressed. We took the old starter in and told him we needed a new one. He looked everything up on the computer to make sure they had the right parts in stock, and give us a price. They carry the absolute basic starter that has been factory rebuilt, they carry the same with a one year warranty, and one that is brand spanking new. Given the age and miles my car has, I opted for the cheapest one. Coco thought the price was incredibly high, but it's been a while since she bought one, and I had told her Knecht's Auto Parts was only $3 less. So no problem there. Justin then offers to test the old one, just to be sure. Yes, please! He has the same car I do, just two years older, so he knew what he was talking about, and that really helped. There's two types of engines they make for my car, and Knecht's Auto Parts couldn't even tell me which one I had based off the VIN or even engine specs. Here, Justin asked me about my engine specs and told me exactly what I needed. Next, we go to hunt down oil and a filter and such to do an oil change. They had a special on certain oils if you bought them, you got a free oil filter. I like good sales like that. They didn't have the oil I wanted in stock, but had a slightly heavier one, which actually worked out better because I currently have a slight leak that we need to look into. The heavier oil wont leak out as quickly, giving me a little time to look into it. Next they had a sale on oil pans and all the accessories. The accessories included shop towels, a funnel, and some sort of orange bottle of something. I have no idea, as I'm not a mechanic. I smile and nod and pay for what is needed. Lol. Justin kept having problems ringing up the oil for some reason, and he wandered off into the back stock area to talk with other co-workers in hushed tones. It was a little strange, and both Coco and I wondered what was up. Not thinking much about it though, as we were quite happy with how Justin was taking care of us. An older man came out and said he had a disclaimer... hmmm.... He said that just because something wasn't coming up in the computer, it wouldn't always be free every time. This wasn't said in a nasty way, more funny and kind/helpful. My question was, what was this item that wasn't showing up, and why were they giving it to us free? Although, I didn't question it too far, as I like free! Lol. I asked Justin what we had done to get free product? We were already happy customers, and totally fine with how everything was going. Justin said we got the slow guy (him) behind the counter. I said, I'll take your help any day! Not because he gave us free stuff, but just based on how helpful he was. To me, that was going seriously above and beyond what good customer service was! I was perfectly happy with Justin's level of customer service already. He was knowledgeable, friendly, answered all of our questions. Coco is a mechanic, so she knows what she's talking about. I'm in the dark most of the time past basics. Whenever something goes wrong, my first question is how complicated is it to fix? Justin explained it in terms that even I could get and understand. Never treated either of us like idiots. My biggest pet peeve is walking into an auto shop, parts store, or anything having to do with cars and having some asshole guy talking down to me and being condescending because my one and only crime is having a vagina. I didn't encounter that here at all. They were beyond warm and welcoming. Between the free items, sale items, and Coco's discount being an Ubder driver we got the starter, large container of oil, oil filter, oil pan, shop towels, funnel, and the orange bottle, all for less than the original price of the starter alone. That's like extreme couponing in a roundabout way. Lol. I was happy! I had no complaints. Would I return? Absolutely! After my visit to this AutoZone today, my rating of Knecht's Auto Parts drops down to 1 star, and I will be forever returning here. The customer service I received was outstanding in every possible way. We stopped in today because we needed a funnel for a capless fuel tank. Dan helped us and they did not have the funnel in stock, he offered to order it but we needed it today. He took the time to call another store and find what we needed and double checked to make sure it was the right one before sending us over there. We greatly appreciated him doing so and highly recommend this store. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences everytime I stop into this location and my visit today was beyond exceptional. I stopped in to get windshield wipers and ask about my brake lights being out right before I left for a trip out of town. The store manager, I missed his name, gave me such friendly service and went above and beyond to help me figure out what was wrong with the brake lights. He went out to my vehicle, checked the bulbs and a fuse, and determined that it was most likely the switch. He gathered all the items I needed and I was on my way. I was able to change the part myself, and that allowed me to leave on time for my trip. All the employees I've worked with have been great and I appreciate their friendly and efficient service. I will only be shopping at this auto parts store from now on. Thanks! read more

Did not enjoy the customer service upon my questions for LED headlights. Had a few questions about LED coverter cables. I was talked down, told LED lights were illegal to have on your vehicle (i live out of town) and that they couldnt help me or refer me to a place that does have them. Also of note they're pretty uneuducated when it comes to JDM vehicles, but Mopar is a hit to their knowledge. I personally wouldn't reccomend waisting your time and serious questions with this Autozone, unless its a must. read more
