Not having walked 5 feet into the store, an employee from behind the counter rudely asked if I had a mask, and that if I didn't, I couldn't stay in the store. I was confused for a second, then retorted "well, I suppose I'll go buy my oil somewhere else." He responded with as much sarcasm as he could muster, "yeah yeah, ok bye." The staggeringly high percentage -facetious :)- of 0.0000003% of the population of Harris County has died from COVID-19 (Johns Hopkins). The "law" requiring masks is unconstitutional and it is unfair of the store to penalize those with asthma or allergies who can't breathe well with constricted airflow. Again, it's a private enterprise and they can do what they want, but I just wanted to let anyone who values our liberties and preventing government overreach know. They broke an interior panel and replaced it. In January, I tried using my rear defogger and thought it was not working. I went to Hyundai for service work and found out Classic never reconnected the defroster. They also found the panel that Classic replaced was broken on the inside. Took over two months for them to finally reimburse me and order a new panel. I had to call a lawyer for guidance and call corporate for them to finally take action. They also damaged my head liner and had to replace it. I called corporate and the regional manager was to contact me, which he never did. On the second car, they also damaged the head liner and had to replace it. They also couldn't install the sunroof trim correctly after several tries and ended up having to outsource it. They kept installing new ones with major creases. They also installed an exterior trim incorrectly and it flew off while we were driving. They had to reimburse us for that also because we had Mazda take care it since we didn't trust them to do it right anymore. I would recommend using a totally different shop and wouldn't trust them with a box of Legos. Do not use if you care about your car!

I had a nail in my tire that unfortunately could not be repaired. Of course, this happened on a…read moreSunday when most tire shops were closed. I found that Mavis, Jiffy Lube, and Brothers Tire & Wheel were open, so I decided to stop at Jiffy Lube. Unfortunately, no one there was willing to patch the tire, so I was advised to order a replacement tire. The employee, told me it would be a quick and easy process -- less than four minutes -- and that I could simply pay for the tire and leave. No problem. Except it wasn't four minutes. I ended up waiting approximately 35 minutes just to order the tire and make the payment. I was actually getting ready to walk out when he caught me before I left. I understand that Jiffy Lube does much more than tires, so I understand that things can get busy, but if you tell a customer something will take four minutes, you should at least try to meet that expectation or be upfront about the wait. I was originally told the tire would arrive at 10:00 AM Monday and that I would receive a call when it came in. Monday morning at 10:00 AM came around, and I stopped by because I hadn't received a call. I was then told it should arrive sometime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and again, I was told I would receive a call. Well, 3:00 PM came around, and I still hadn't heard anything. I had somewhere I needed to be, so I couldn't keep coming back to check. When I returned around 3:45 PM, I was told the tire had arrived. The frustrating part is that I never received the phone call I was promised. That's honestly what upset me the most. If you don't know exactly when a tire is going to arrive, that's completely understandable. Just tell me, "I'm not sure when it will arrive, but I'll call you as soon as it gets here." I would have had no problem with that. What I don't appreciate is being given specific timeframes and being told I'll receive a call, only for neither of those things to happen. Then I was told the technician who handles the tire work was extremely busy. He was working on someone's brakes and had an alignment scheduled after that. I completely understand that customers come first and that the shop was busy. I was also told that even though they were open until 8:00 PM, another customer could come in needing service, and since it's first come, first served, there was no guarantee my tire would get installed that evening. The guy offered to call me when the technician was getting close to being finished, but at that point, I was already frustrated with the communication and the amount of time this was taking. He ultimately offered to take care of it first thing Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM. I want to be clear: I understand that businesses get busy. As a customer reading this review Jiffy Lube does brakes, alignments, oil changes, inspections, filters, wiper blades, and other services. It's honestly too much, That's part of the reason Jiffy Lube is more than just a tire shop. But if you're looking for a quick, in-and-out tire replacement with minimal hassle, this was definitely not that experience. Whatever happens to you and your vehicle on a Sunday. Just wait it out until Monday to go Discount tire or Tirelink For something as simple as ordering and replacing one tire, I feel like there was a lot of unnecessary waiting, unclear communication, and missed follow-up. I paid $282 for the tire, and I do appreciate that they price-matched TireLink, but the communication throughout the process left a lot to be desired. Before I left, he told me he was going to try to make the situation up to me. I'm honestly not sure what that means at this point, considering I've already paid for the tire. I guess we'll see. My advice if you need tires and want a straightforward tire-service experience: Discount Tire or TireLink would be my first stops for next time. And personally, I would be very cautious about using Express Oil Change & Tires based on my previous experience there. They lie and just want your money. As for Jiffy Lube, since they offer multiple services. That's what took the longest and not enough workers and 2nd problem is the communication and the expectations that were set and then not followed through on. I don't expect everything to happen instantly, and I understand that things get busy. I simply expect someone to be honest about the timeline and follow through when they tell me they're going to call. If you say you're going to call, call. If you don't know when something will arrive, just say you don't know. That's all I was asking for. 09/27/26
