1. Service - outstanding. Everyone that works here seem to be friendly and helpful. I came looking for a special vehicle socket, and the guy came out to my car in search for the right tool for me. You can test out the fitting before buying it. They offer free testing and charging of your car battery to see if it actually needs replacing. And they will help you find the right battery to fit your vehicle. They also have a battery recycling program. What I like is if you bought the battery from them, and you save the receipt, you can get a free replacement, but it's time limited (I think within a year or so...forgot the exact timing). They will look at your vehicle if you have questions or need assistance. These guys are experts. 2. Products - great, everything I need that's car related: air filters, windshield wipers, car batteries, special vehicle tools, car wash soap, tire shine spray cans, and special paint for boats. 3. Price - average, not expensive, and reasonable. 4. Ambiance - It's like a garage in here with A/C. Nothing fancy. It smells nice and as it should. haha. 5. Search - I prefer coming here over Walmart. Although Walmart has many products, it doesn't always carry everything. I like coming here as there are experts that deal with autoparts every day. Finding stuff is easy as it's arranged in an organized manner. If you need air filters or windshield wipers, there are guide books in the isle where you can find your car by year, make, and model. Growing up, my family had always been loyal to Autozone. Nowadays, it depends on who has the right parts at a competitive cost and this Autozone is usually both. In this area (NW Houston) there are several stores, so if one doesn't have a part there's usually another not far away. The staff is helpful, and sometimes they'll put on the part for you (i.e. bulbs, air filters, rear-view mirrors) mainly simple things. So your vehicle is sick and you need to have it looked-at? Their diagnostic check is quite accurate saving you time and perhaps dollars. The same can be said about most other auto parts stores, but what separates Autozone is the staff's willingness to help solve your problem instead of just giving you what you asked for. Poor customer service, I was driving from work and my check engine light came on and I drove to this place and was told that because of COVID-19 they can't check my car with the gadget, I would have to do it myself . I was at this same auto zone on Tuesday and they did perform the diagnostic and today Saturday they saying that they can't do it because of COVID-19. My car powered down on the highway so I called Autozone in hopes they could give me some advice. I spoke with Alex, who provided excellent customer service and helped me find a mobile mechanic as I am new to the area. Luckily, a few minutes later, I was able to start my car and make it to the Autozone parking lot before my car died again. My battery was completely dead but still under warranty so Alex replaced the battery on the spot. He then tested the alternator which also needed replaced. The part was ordered and the mobile mechanic replaced the next day for a fair price. Alex was willing to help every step of the way while he was also helping other customers. He does an excellent job and deserves recognition for taking care of the customers. read more

Went in for a part had a employee sitting down just talking to a male employee who was working. Even though not busy at all in the store jaeesha just looked at me and kept talking. The lady jaeesha ends up calling a different employee that was working and told her to come help me out which the lady replied to her "are you doing anything" which jaeesha replied "no" so the other lady just walked off. So I've been in the store going on 5mins still no help. Now jaeesha finally ends up helping me and didn't seem like she cared to work or be there at all. Terrible service. read more
