Went over to this location to buy a new power steering reservoir cap because I thought I had lost…read morethe original that came with my car (I was refilling my car with power steering fluid and thought the cap tipped over had fallen into the engine pan down below). After I purchased the new cap, Robert, one of the employees at this particular location, offered to come out and help me find my missing cap. He did manage to find the missing cap (It was wedged by the fuse box at the front of the engine). Robert and I then proceeded back inside where he refunded the cost of the new cap, no questions asked. Robert went above and beyond in assisting me with finding my original cap. He could have easily brushed me off and kept the $20 sale, but I am thankful that was not the case.

I tried Mister Oil Change/Car Wash for a while, but honestly felt like they were always trying to stack on additional things needing fixed on top of an oil change. I did a Google search for oil change services in the area and Poutous stood out to me because of the high reviews. The experience was so easy! My car was done in about 30 minutes. I drive an old model Tahoe and had always opted for pretty much the cheapest oil, usually a cheap Mobil 1. When I spoke to the mechanic, he mentioned that they used a price friendly premium oil that would extend the mileage of this oil change more so than the oil I had been using. When checking out, the man at the front desk signed me up for their rewards and loyalty program, which gave me about $20 off the service, making the oil change much more price friendly than any place I've been to in Houston. Afterward, I spoke with a mechanic about my Service Engine light which is throwing an EVAP leak code. He was very upfront that there was no immediate issue other than not being able to pass an emissions test. He then proceeded to tell me the process of finding out where the leak is, giving me my options based on best case scenario and worst case scenario and informed me that if the leak would take longer than 20-30 minutes to fix, they would provide a shuttle to go home and I could pick up my car when ready. He also gave me a price estimate based on similar instances. And seriously, I've never had a mechanic be so upfront with me about pricing and process. The communications I receive from Poutous make me smile! They're so genuine and so kind. I actually received "Poutous bucks" and a hand written note in the mail, and for me, those things go so far! I will definitely be using Poutous from here on out. I've never been so pleased with an auto repair shop!

Each time they came back with more things to be fixed, and still the screeching sound is still there and I have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Won't ever send my car to this place again. Update i had to sell my car this place messed it up so much that it stopped working in the middle of the road in the middle of a intersection. Had to get it towed to the nearest place they told me nothing was fixed that the cables to the battery needed to be fixed and i needed another battery. I said forget it.

After waiting over 5 minutes was told by young employee that he could not touch the fob. When we asked if he could just look up the battery needed, he told her she can look that up on her phone (which she did not have with her) and just stared at us.
