Went to the store to get my battery charge from jumpstarting, store employee John refused to get the battery out of the vehicle and insists I have to to do it myself. He is plain rude and not helpful at all. Victor has been the most on point, helpful, polite in 377 Auto zone. I recommend him. read more

I've been to this AutoZone twice over the last two months and both times Christian has helped me expertly. He made recommendations for some good cleaners and today he checked my battery and alternator because my car has had some simple issues lately that could have been battery-related. Called twice to see what the protocol was for replacing an old battery. Walked in chose the most expensive option and went back to my car to open the hood and then one of the employees came out and acted like I didn't plan on paying for the battery. I'm used to paying after something is fixed but when I walked in upset, I was told that they were doing me a favor by installing it and they didn't have to when I bought it. I called another AutoZone just to make sure what the protocol was and their protocol did not match this one. Told me installing the battery was part of the price. Needless to say I will not be going back to this location. It took seven minutes to get an apology. Choose another AutoZone. read more

I walked into the store looking for motor oil. The first matching product I saw was on the promotion shelf by the door on sale for $30.99. I pick up the bottle and carry it to the motor oil section for comparison. I see the same bottle of oil, same product I'd label, placed on two different shelf positions, one $30.99, one $29.99. I asked the store clerk for help. He explained that there was no difference in the products, only the price. He then stated that both prices were wrong. It was on sale for $24.99...with the purchase of an oil filter. I felt like I was the mark of some lousy film-flam. I left and purchased the same bottle of oil from Walmart, $17.47, Castro GTX synthetic 5W-30 1.25 U.S. Gallon / 5 QT. If the goal was low price, they failed. If the goal was dishonesty, they missed this mark but I'm sure they will find plenty of gulls. Buyer beware. read more

When did the price of oil go to $3.99 a quart? I just needed some oil for my lawn equipment, and this was a convenient location (I was just at the TSC a bit further up 377). Store was not very busy and so the counter guy had plenty of time to be helpful in identifying the least expensive quart (which was a store brand) of oil. I will still pick AutoZone over other options, just because they will read a car's diagnostic codes for free (this can save you at least $50 vs. having a shop do it, and then a little research will dial in what's wrong. Usually it's something basic, like a faulty fuel cap). read more

I would avoid this AutoZone. The store manager Chad is a total douche. The rest of the staff is friendly but even his own employees have negative things to say about the him. Doesn't honor warranties or returns and won't give a reason other than "just because". Wouldn't return an $18 brand new part because I didn't have the box, which by the way, is NOT AutoZone policy. I spoke to the regional manager and she did confirm that customers can return new or warranty parts with OR without the box. Chad was just in his feelings and lost my business. I've since transferred my commercial account to a different AutoZone and will never spend another dollar at his store and advise my clients to do the same. Apparently I'm not the first to have issues with the guy. Poor attitude and acts like he hates working there and it rubs off on the customers and employees. Go to the Justin location. It's a couple miles away and they have more parts in stock and employees are extremely professional. read more

I am not a car geek, but when I need to buy good car care products or new windshield wipers, this is the place to go. AutoZone is the leading auto parts retailer where you can find car parts and great customer service. These guys never make me feel dumb and are really helpful. I like buying my windshield wipers from AutoZone because they install them for free. As a woman this is a nice service as I cannot tell one end form the other on those things. I know they offer all sorts of other services and products but since I am not a do it yourselfer I cannot review them on all of the other services. I am a Roanoke resident and have always gone to AutoZone for my car part needs. This past week, my headlight went out and although I was on the other side of the DFW decided to visit my neighborhood AutoZone because of the excellent service I had received the last time the opposite light went out. Last time, about three years ago, I can still remember the excellent service the young Hispanic man provided me with, taking his time to show me the products and even offered to replace the light for me! He wouldn't even accept a tip! I have bragged about this place and have sent people over. On my last visit, a manager, I am assuming by his uniform and frankly his age, treated me like an idiot who was wasting his time. I know my car and about cars and have always been given the chance to express that at Auto Zone. This time, I was giving him my car information when he asked me a question that I didn't understand because I didn't hear him well. When I asked him, " Can you repeat that? " he said " Well, since you don't know, I'll be right back." He rushed off into the store, not the back, so I followed him (wanting to confirm it is the right part and more importantly, accompany him in the favor he is doing me). He grabbed the part like he was in a rush, kept his back to me the whole time and didn't show me what it was or let me see it, quickly rang it up and gave me my total. I felt so rushed and like I was inconveniencing him. I don't expect to be treated sweetly and have things sugar coated to me at an auto part store, but the attitude and lack of cooperation I received from this man was totally unprecedented. Customer service is a part of EVERY industry and before being an auto parts place, AutoZone is a STORE and part of the RETAIL industry. Have some common courtesy and manners. At the time, I figured that was his personality type and didn't make a deal about it, until I got home and realized IT WAS THE WRONG FREAKING PART. If you are going to be arrogant, have a reason to be. A review left just by Ms. Beth S. a few days ago says it best: "Not impressed with customer service or Competency." I can bet we had similar experiences. If this man is in fact a manager, I advise he undergo some serious training or a replacement. Management sets the tone and this is not a tone any place should take pride in. I will now go out of my way to visit the Autozone in Arlington on Division where a Ms. Erica was VERY informative, helpful, and while she was clearly busier, offered to help me install the part. I have been using auto zone for a couple years now. They have mostly been pretty good about helping me. Other auto zones have a reputation for not knowing anything when it comes to cars ans helping the customer figure out issues, or parts ect. But this one does Allright.
