These two were fantastic. They tested everything and figured out that my battery had a dead cell while my starter and alternator were fine, and got me taken care of with a new battery. But what I appreciated just as much as getting my car running again was how they treated me while they were doing it. They were friendly, funny, patient, and genuinely seemed to care. People are quick to complain when they get bad service, so I think it's just as important to speak up when people go out of their way to give great service. I had to make an unexpected trip to Autozone because I needed a special tool. Why did I need a special tool you ask....because I was in a neighborhood off basswood taking my kids to a group swim lesson and someone literally stole the front grill off my car...(they too had a special tool.lol) Anyway I figured I would equip myself with the special tool so I could replace the part. I popped into Autozone, and immediately my day got better! There was a guy in a gray shirt and his name started with an R...it was Ray, Or Ryan. He is the BEST employee I have ever met at Autozone. Not only was he super helpful, but he took the time to help me use the tool, and I was able to fix my car right in the Autozone parking lot! Now how is that for service!! From now on, when I need tools or ANYTHING else that Autozone might sell, this is my go to place. I used Caliber Collision in Grapevine, Tx in the past and they were great. Caliber Collision in Argyle was new, and distance was a lot closer so chose to go there. All I wanted was my car fixed out of this accident and nothing more. I didn't want to deal with the party's insurance, and this is where I went TERRIBLY wrong. I told the insurance company to send the check directly to Caliber once the work was done. HUGE mistake. I worked with Damon and he said nothing is wrong with the glove compartment. Well, a month later it still pops open every time I go over a small bump in the road. It hasn't rained so I'm hoping what he said about the sunroof is correct, nothing wrong. Well, I had a flap behind a tire fall off and this was told on day 1. Part was even in the trunk, and insurance knew and received photos. Well, this part was not fixed and the part from my trunk was removed. I mentioned it to Damon on the day of pick up and he said he would get the part ordered, let me know when it comes in, and put it on. Well, they received their check and it's a month later and never heard back from Damon. I think it's safe to assume the part never got ordered or got lost. It's my fault and thank the man above it's not too expensive. I will just purchase the part and have it put on myself. So, lesson here is never pay until completely satisfied. Don't have insurance send check directly to Caliber in Argyle. Though it was my fault I will never use them again nor recommend this location.
