Finally I can give a review. This is a shout out to manager, Cindy Harnen, (had to look up her name posted on the window front, store #4180) who helped me with a diagnostic test on my 2008 RAV. She was a wealth of information that helped me pin down what to do to fix and some other things to be aware of in routine self maintenance. I was so worried I that I'd have to take it to the dealership and shell out a bunch of money starting with diagnostics. Unfortunately for Maple Valley store she is leaving and heading to Florida where I am sure she will make a good impression in her new job. Surely she will move up the ranks quickly there. Wishing her the best. I would have sent this review out sooner through the AutoZone website but it wanted a Google affiliation which I refuse to use. My family shops here nearly every week and the sales associates are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I love how they have a database of all the cars that I have bought parts for in the past. This has helped immensely when we have needed to fix the same issue again on the same car, i.e. brake pads. This place NOW has my business for LIFE! I had a small issue about a price discrepancy on my receipt with a recent oil & filter deal that they had advertised in their flyer. I brought the issue up to the manager. He not only corrected it and refunded me, but went beyond my expectations to make sure that I left happy. I was very impressed with how the store manager handled my complaint and in a timely manner. The 'check engine' light came on in my car and of course, I immediately got frazzled. It was a 'new to me' car so I didn't know much about it yet. I heard that you could take your car in to AutoZone with these light notifications; so I did, with low expectations. To my surprise, the gal who helped me (store manager - Mychelle) was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. She tested the car, figured out the problem, explained it to me, and even offered to help put in the new part I ended up needing. Above and beyond service today! I went in to either buy a new trailer hitch or to see if they could help me remove the hitch ball in order to flip the hitch over for trailering a boat tomorrow. The first clerk was quite disinterested, said she isn't strong enough to try using their great socket tool, so I thought I'd be buying a new hitch (my adult son had already tried unsuccessfully to loosen the ball). Up stepped the store's new assistant manager, Mychelle, saying she'd like to help me. We went out to the car, slipped the hitch in (for more torque) and between the two of us, some super tools, and persistence, we finally got the nut to loosen. After flipping the hitch to raise the ball height, Mychelle then helped tighten the hitch ball to where I have total confidence it will adequately tow a 5000 pound boat. Thank you!!! read more

I stopped by Autozone today around 8:30 this morning, I was greeting by a gentleman that opened the door and welcomed me to autozone, it was an extremely refreshing experience in a world where customer service is pretty much non existence, I was looking around the store and was greeting again by Becky, every time I go to this store she is extremely kind, patient and quite humorous, I actually could not believe she remembered my name from months ago when she warrantied a set of brakes for me (that was awesome!)
