My daughter & I went in for an oil change and asked the guy if they could replace our headlight bulb also -as we had just bought it. They said of course. Turns out they had to take the battery out to do it. A bolt broke on the battery holder. It must have taken them 40 minutes to remove the bolt and the battery to get to the headlight so they could replace the bulb. Then they had to figure out how to secure the battery in a holder that had a broken bolt. They were absolutely awesome and patient. They did a fantastic job and we were not even charged nearly enough for all the work they did. They've made a customer for life. read more

Get er done. Usually I take the car into the dealership however got in a pinch because I was out of town when service was needed. They got me in pretty quick, 45 mins in and out with 5 cars ahead of me. My only critique was I found it to be expensive. $150 for an oil change. However, it is worth noting they got me a $5 discount and tacked on something else to get the price down to $125. Very nice and helpful. read more

This was not my first visit to a jiffy lube by far and even specifically this location. Between my husband and I we have used this location exclusively for three cars for the life of each. Today however was the first day that I felt like I wanted to share an experience. The battery for my Bluetooth keyboard is dead and I'm writing this on my phone. That's how much I wanted to share. My car literally tells me when she wants an oil change. I've never had a car so polite. So when she told me today I made a u turn and went to jiffy lube. There was no line in front of me but three of us arrived within minutes so it was a full lot and the only thing memorable at this point was how quickly I was done and I even commented on it. I'm used to seeing inspection information on the paperwork and like to track where the oil levels are compared to when my car tells me it's time. I noticed that I declined to have my windows cleaned although I hadn't been asked. I also noticed a line on the invoice stating a flat fee of $15.00 non tax which was the exact amount of my coupon which was deducted three lines down. It's not complicated - it's the amount of my discount added in. I questioned the guy who handed me the keys and he said "yeah we're franchises so that's to make sure we get the money from the coupon" I questioned him further and the end result was him reminding me that I could have questioned it before paying. Really? That's what our collective business over the years is worth to you? I've since convinced myself that despite the method of invoicing the math nets out. The reason for my sharing however is because as was pointed out to me that day each location is a franchise and I will make every reasonable effort in the future to support a franchise interested in the customer service aspect of their busi Ugh. Why don't I read my own reviews before doing these things? I won't elaborate today. If you've read this far you get the idea. Suffice it to say that I was disappointed. Again. A few weeks ago, I brought my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan into the Maple Valley Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change service. The "change oil" light had just come on the previous day, so I brought it in promptly for service. The day after the service, I drove to Yakima. After about 90 minutes of driving, I began to notice a hot engine smell. At first, I assumed I might be smelling the exhaust fumes from vehicles in front of us on the road, but when I arrived in Yakima, it was apparent that the smell was coming from my own engine. The next morning, there was a large pool of oil on the driveway under our vehicle...it looked like nearly all the oil from the engine had leaked out. The only place in town that said they could even take a look at it that day was the service department at the Dodge dealership, so we had it towed there. The service department determined that the engine oil cooler was leaking (the cooler is the part to which the new oil filter had been "attached" by Jiffy Lube), the engine oil pressure control had become stuck, and the leaking oil had sprayed all throughout the engine compartment and had pooled in various open areas below the car. Although the service department was able to diagnose these problems, their schedule was completely booked and they were not going to be able to start the repairs until the following week. Meanwhile, I needed to return to Maple Valley at the end of the weekend, so I had to rent another vehicle until could return the next weekend to pick up our repaired vehicle. Prior to this service, my vehicle was having absolutely NO mechanical issues, no oil leaks, no leaky hoses, etc...nor did the Jiffy Lube technicians mention noticing any of those types of issues during the service of my vehicle. It seems clear that the issues were all caused by something that was done improperly during the initial Jiffy Lube service appointment. I requested a refund for the Jiffy Lube services I paid for, as well as reimbursement for the costs associated with the subsequent damage that was caused afterwards. The manager of the Maple Valley location, James, flatly denied any responsibility for damages and refused to refund us for any of the significant expenses we incurred. We now have to escalate this to the corporate headquarters. What a pain. We will definitely never give this Jiffy Lube location our business again and will never recommend their services to anyone else. read more

I needed an oil change in a "jiffy " Went to the Maple Valley Jiffylube to support a local business. Including me there were two customers there and I had to wait 15 minutes just to talk to someone and get checked in. The other customer that was waiting with me apparently had been there for quite a while while the two technicians worked on his car. I overheard them break the news that they could not perform the maintenance that he needed and sent him out the door unsatisfied. At this point another customer came in that was from a local construction company and their car was looked at before mine. After at least 20 minutes of waiting they came and told the customer that they did not have enough oil to complete the job.More on that later. After a considerable wait, one of the technicians came in and said that they were waiting on a employee who had overslept. Mind you this was at 10:30 or 11 in the morning. I was there when the late employee finally rolled in at 11:15. After a rather terse conversation with who I assume was the manager, the person came and tried to get me checked out. It was at this point that this technician told me that they did not have a working tire gauge in their shop so they could not check the tire pressures which is part of their normal service. I was given a small discount because they could not complete the entire job. I had to tell the person checking me out the interval in which my oil needed to be changed for the particular year and make of my car. It seems like there should be something covered in basic training for employees of a automotive shop. Once I return home I discovered that my car was not clean by any means and being someone who keeps immaculate care of their vehicle I noticed oil and grease on the quarter panels where whoever worked on my car was careless and left smudges all over my car. To top it off the windows that were very clean when I brought the truck in or now partially cleaned with what I assume was old dirty water because there are streaks on my windows that were not there before. Jiffy Lube charge is a premium cost for an oil change. I got very substandard service from this location. I will not return under any circumstance! What kind of vehicle maintenance shop does not carry enough oil to complete an oil change??? This place is probably the worst automotive shop I have been to read more

I've had good a experience here for years but recently caught them on a bad day. For some reason they were out of the type of oil that Honda uses. Seems like there's a lot of Honda cars out here -- so maybe they all came in and took all the oil. Anyway the "manager" was very unhelpful-- sent me away unceremoniously. No help at all just No Oil. The people who work here are very racist if you're a person of color I would stay away they worked on one of my bmws and it started to have a leak I took it back and told them about it they decided to get an attitude and deny everything!! They then proceeded to call the cops and other friends they had in maple valley. This place is very unprofessional and refused to give me cooperate number saying they didn't have it! I went to have an oil change done today and the group of guys I worked with were awesome. They were professional and courteous. They answered all my questions and didn't "upsell" me in a pushy way at all. Yes, they asked if I wanted to upgrade certain things, but I declined and they left it at that. They politely asked if I wanted a couple filters replaced. They pulled out the filters in front of me and showed me how dirty they were. I agreed to have that done as I could easily see they were filthy. But again, they weren't pushy. They simply asked. Overall I was very happy with my service. read more

When I picked up my car I was told they were unable to replace the brake light because they were out of the correct light. However, Erik H. offered to install the brake light, even though they were closed, if I was able to run across the street to purchase my own - which is what I did. He went above and beyond and stayed after close to replace my brake light as a courtesy. He was polite, friendly and helpful. My 8 year old daughter mentioned his kindness on our drive home. Went in for oil change and was greeted by very friendly and smiling faces. Katy and Kenneth. They were personable, went through all the oil change options (without any pressure to up sell, or replace a filter that wasn't ready yet or anything like that)with us and then got the job done quickly. After we left, my oil pressure light came on so I brought it right back to see what was going on. I think my sensors are just sensitive but to be on the safe side, they changed the oil again and added full synthetic oil this time around (we had originally only gotten the 50 percent) all at no charge. That was really nice. I would definitely recommend them. They really seem to care that you are completely satisfied and want to build a good reputation in the community too. read more
