Power control module. I have no idea what the heck that is, but it was under $200 total and it fixed a variety of other issues "Old Faithful" had been exhibiting. Fast. Seemed honest. I scheduled the appointment for the day after Christmas. I told them I would drop the vehicle off on the 26th because I would be out of town and that I would return to pick it up on Jan 2nd. I confirmed that this was doable and that they would be open for the drop off and pick up. I get a call at 8am on the 26th asking if I was still bringing the vehicle in. I told them I would be dropping it off later in the morning and that we had discussed I would pick it up a week later. I brushed it as a misunderstanding, it happens. I arrive the morning of the 2nd to pick up the vehicle and the shop is closed. I peek in the windows, and someone spots me and comes out to talk. I am told that the work was never done and that I would need to reschedule. Brake pads and rotors for a single axle are a very straightforward job, and they could not even get that done over a 3.5 day period. Not even a phone call to tell me what the situation was. There are enough repair place in Maple Valley/Covington that you can avoid this one.
