On our way in the Rv to begin our vacation and the breaks went out. Stuck in Enumclaw at 6:30am, limped our way to Les Schwab only to find out they don't open till 8am. Called a nearby mechanics before they even opened and the owner, Greg, not only said he could help me but got my Rv in right away. He saved my families vacation. Charged me an extremely fair price and got us out of his shop before 10am. I would highly recommend this shop and will be using them going forward. Fantastic service, never had better! read more

Specifically made a Yelp account so I could review these guys... Took my car (which has 98k miles) into Greg at Cascade after I found myself unable to shift into gear out on a back forest service road. Gave them a couple days to look it over and was told that they had gotten it back into gear, but that my transmission was toast (they said this definitively) with an estimate of ~900 for labor alone, not to mention them sourcing a new transmission. Spent a couple days panicking and stressing-even considering selling her to a junkyard when I found out that I could limp it home-which I did. That's when some friends who knew a bit more than me said something didn't sound right, so I decided to take it to another mechanic for a second look. Turns out my transmission was FINE (even in better condition than the rest of the engine), the guy simply took apart the center console and found that a necklace had made its way into my shifter and was jamming things up. 80 bucks. Done. I had been ready to GUT my car! She has been driving fine now. Can't even begin to tell you how angry I am about them trying to "replace" my transmission. I don't care how damn honest the owner's voice sounds these guys are not trustworthy! I truly don't understand how they don't have any bad reviews. Maybe because I was young, female and from out of town they thought that they could get away with it, without me knowing any better? I've had some shady mechanics in my day, but Cascade has been the worst so far- sure I wasn't charged for them looking at my car, but that's probably because they wanted me out the door before I figured out they had tried to f*** me over. I would rather pay a couple hundred bucks for towing than ever go back to this shop again. Just want to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else! read more

I actually know the whole story as they actually made the newspaper back in 1982. "Greg & Ray" both opened the shop together and ran the business great for awhile before "Greg" decided to take a "Vacation" from the business in 1992. That's when I started coming to this shop "by word of mouth" from my Father, so we went there and started to give "Ray" our business. All because of my Father, so then I'm not quite sure why, but before you know it, "Ray" decided to go on his "Vacation" now and "Greg" came back to take back the shop from "Ray" and brought with him his little Brother "Joe" to help him run the shop. **OVERALL** I wouldn't go anywhere else but to "Cascade Automotive" because I know the "INTEGRITY" of these men and their business and that they "stand behind their work!" They are not out to cause a "robbery", they're there to help put you back out on the road, but with a safe running vehicle. They are DEFINITELY one to RECOMMEND FOR YOUR FAMILY!! read more

Would not use them again! Took my dad's car in for a broken break line, specifically told them not to do any other work without our consent. As in call us first! Nope. Called a couple days later to say car was ready. Over $900 later and a ton of extra work we didn't ask for! Admitted he did extra work without consent and still expected us to pay. Would not go back. read more

I have been going to Cascade Automotive since I had my first car. Ray C. was the owner for many years and treated my whole family well. He has since sold to 2 men that worked for him for years. I am happy to say that they are staying on the same path. I understand that Enumclaw is a little far to drive 30 miles one way for auto service but to not be taken to the cleaners for repairs I will continue to take my car there. read more

My brother and I were on a road trip cross-country and had the check engine light come on in Enumclaw. I called these guys and they told me to come on over. I pulled the car right into the garage and they ran the diagnostics as I was standing there, and ten minutes later told me it was a non-issue (explaining in detail and clearly to me) and they had turned off the light. I was right back on the road like that, and they didn't charge me for any of it. Obviously I live too far away to be a regular, but these guys were awesome and I'd recommend em to anyone in town! read more

These guys saved me when I was on the road for camping trip with my daughter. They went out of their way to give me super fast service to get me back on the road after only an hour and a half. They had to get a part driven in from another store and did that is fast as they could too. Super friendly and would recommend them to anyone . read more

My husband and I both have been taking our vehicles to CAS for many years. We always feel we receive excellent, professional service. Recently I took my VW Teguan turbo there because of poor acceleration. I had taken it to the local dealership with the same complaint several times and each time they changed something under warranty, but whatever they did never took care of the problem. After having it for just a 1/2 hr. CAS called and said they found 2 of the original spark plugs had not been installed correctly and had rusted and caused coils to rust. The Dealership NEVER found it. Since having CAS take care of this problem, my Teguan accelerates like it should have all along. read more

This is a genuine, authentic, small town auto shop! I had an issue trying to set up brakes for towing. Spent all day trying to get someone to help me or figure it out. The guys here were able to check things out immediately, and got me taken care of and on the road! I was desperate, and they could have taken advantage of the situation to overcharge, but they didn't. I wish I would have found them earlier in my day, it would have saved a lot of time and frustration! I will definitely think of them first with any future repair needs! read more

They know what they're doing, they won't charge you for something you don't need, very reasonably priced (way cheaper than any dealership) and always get my car in the same day I call even though they're busy. Great service. I am a young woman and I was treated very well--never talked down to as I have been at other places. They took care of my truck quickly, called before doing any work, reviewed all costs, and explained preventative maintenance to me as well. So far everything they fixed is working great. read more

I'd recommend them in a heart beat. I was traveling through town and the check engine light came on. All I can say is that Greg and his team are outstanding! I can't tell you how much I appreciate them going so high above the bar!! I am from Seattle and visiting my family here, I was told by a shop in Seattle that I needed replacement parts for the struts on my car. I took it to Greg on my brother-in-laws suggestion. He and his team looked at the car, identified the problem and gave me a great price (lower than I was given in my neck of the woods). I asked them to check out a few other things, they told me what needed to be done and give me a price. It was over my budget so I told them how much I could spend, they not only stayed in that range...but the did even more work. As Greg said "that what they wanted to do"! WOW.. how often to you hear an auto repair shop say something like that? I had another issue with the car the next day (not related to their work) and he and his team went in and took care of it...at no cost! I honestly can't tell you how much I appreciate the great work and grateful for the very caring customer service! I know that in the future I will plan on bringing my car to them for major repairs and service...I may be from Seattle..but the drive is more than worth it! Thanks Guys!!! read more
