Be warned! Scammers…read more110% Caught red handed several times for one friggin job, which they had to redo because of their installation, so instead they called Monroe and said they gave them bad parts and got new ones. That's Monroe's loss because the reason the struts were no good was because they left the giant stickers across the top of them and they couldn't seat to the car. I drove my sister an hour on the freeway twice with the car like this, steering all unsteady. They even tried to fake it like they fixed the struts and called me begging to get the car which I couldn't, only to call the next morning and found out it wasn't pulled in until then. So he was trying (desperately) to get me to pick up the car, (I'm sure with they had cut the stickers out, because it had never entered the shop yet. They put the struts in the next day when they arrived. Had I picked up my car Mike would have made up a story about me picking up my car I am sure and kept the brand new struts from Monroe, hoping I wouldn't notice in the few days left I had in my warranty that the car was still unstable. There was also a very serious problem with the rear axle which I know they had their hands on to put shocks on but they didn't mention it to me because they Cherry picked their work. This is how I first met Mike at the telegraph location. I have worked on cars at home, I'm aware of how much shops charge, and asked him for a quote. It was so long ago I don't remember specifically it might been a hub, but I recognize an "I don't want to do it" price when I see it. Later it turned out it cost half of what he had quoted me being the point. So I already knew the telegraph location was sketchy then they moved the sketchy guy to the Ecorse location so that makes me think that they're all sketchy and I'm done with them and I think anyone should be warned the same.

Not only did they hang up on me several times but the service here is trash…read more I called ahead tried to present myself and say hello and all I got was a "I can't even here you" followed with a click and a dial tone. This is the most unprofessional shop, looks pretty shady, and finally pathological liars. I came in for a simple service for my car and to make sure everything is alright. But it turned into a nightmare. I can hear the employees not wanting to work and even telling customers false information, I'm no mechanic but I do a lot of work with service shops and I am a car enthusiast myself. To tell a customer they need to change their fuel pump to be able to get more life out of the oil as well as fixing a thermostat doesn't seem pretty fair. Also telling customers that oil changes may take up to 3 hours to get done? Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF! Someone needs to come in this place of business and make some big changes.

David apologized and cleared my check engine light and asked me to call back. In the meantime the check engine light came on again confirming I had a bad oxygen sensor. I had purchased my own parts and was ready for the installation. When David and I next talked he offered to come to my house pick up my car and take it back to the shop to fix the problem. David came to my house and repaired the car and brought it back. Wow what service! The price he charged me for the labor was very fair and lower than any other bids I had obtained. Despite the early appointment issue David more than made up for it with his kind offer. The car runs fine and David gave me the old parts verifying the replacement. I would definitely use this clinic again for any auto repair issues. Thank you David!!

We are retired and meticulously maintain our vehicles. Oil changes and tire rotations every 5000…read moremiles. Have done this for the past 40 years and our vehicles hold up well. We have been going to Fast Lane Quick Lube for about the last 4 years and have had about 15 oil changes done by them. They are the only place that has done the oil changes on our vehicles. We only had one bad experience in the past- they did not replace oil drain cap. Luckily we noticed the drip while we were at the Speedway just across the street and went back and they put cap back in. They were apologetic. No harm, no foul. About a week ago, we went in to have and oil change done on a Saturday. They could not get the filter off and asked that we come back Monday and they would have a torque tool to help get the filter loose. No problem, we said. We came back Monday and with some elbow grease they were able to get the filter loose (they were the ones that over tightened the filter in the 1st place). We had the oil change done and were on our way. A couple days later there was an oil spot on the drive. I took the vehicle back in. They replaced the filter. We were on our way. Last night, I noticed oil on the drive again. This morning I went back in to Fast Lane. They looked at the filter and saw that there was oil leaking from it again. I asked the tech if this was common. He said no- that he does not see this as a regular problem. He then corrected himself and said, well maybe I have seen this sometimes because you have a cap that holds the filter in place. Sometimes there might be an issue with the cap holder that holds the filter in place. There could be something wrong with the filter holder. They replaced the filter and I left. I then called the Toyota dealer here in Canton and asked them if they had a filter cap holder in stock. He said yes, so I drove over and picked one up. I asked the Toyota man if this issue is common- he he had seen it when the cap is over tightened. I paid for the new cap and went back to Fast Lane. This is now my 5th trip in a week to have an oil change done correctly. I asked the tech to replace the cap with the new one I just purchased at the Toyota dealer. He said that he would now charge me for a new filter. I was incredulous, and told him that I was having to come back repeatedly because of his mistakes. I refused to pay for another filter and left. Mistakes happen. I've had a hundred oil changes done in my life and never had a filter over tightened. But I understand that stuff happens. In this case, the business was unwilling to fix their mistake without charging me. I am left with the the cost of a new filter cap, the cleanup job of the 4 oil stains on my driveway and the cost of having someone else replace the oil cap. Sometimes things happen. But when the business that caused the issue refuses to stand behind their work, that is a problem. Word to the wise, take your business elsewhere- these guys don't make good on their promise to give you what you paid for and if they make a mistake they'll charge you to fix an issue they caused in the 1st place.

Here are a few items to consider when in the market for new tires or repairs - Well-maintained tires ensure optimal grip, traction, and handling, reducing the risk of accidents and maintaining overall safety on the road. Good tire condition allows for better control and maneuverability of the vehicle, especially during emergency situations or adverse weather conditions. Properly inflated and aligned tires minimize rolling resistance, leading to improved fuel efficiency and reduced fuel consumption, saving you money and reducing environmental impact. Regular maintenance and repair help extend the lifespan of your tires, allowing you to get the maximum value from your investment. Worn-out or damaged tires can negatively impact your vehicle's acceleration, braking, and cornering capabilities. Well-maintained tires contribute to overall vehicle performance. Many countries and regions have laws and regulations that mandate minimum tire tread depth and condition. Keeping your tires in good repair ensures compliance with these requirements and avoids potential legal issues. Properly inflated and balanced tires provide a smoother and more comfortable ride, reducing vibrations and road noise. Regularly inspecting and maintaining your tires allows you to identify and address potential issues before they escalate into major problems, helping you avoid unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs. By maintaining your tires, you reduce the need for premature replacements, minimizing waste and the environmental impact associated with tire disposal. Some insurance policies require vehicles to be in a safe and roadworthy condition. Neglecting tire maintenance may result in coverage issues or claims denial in case of an accident.
