When I I couldn't find the plastic bag I had used to carry in my parts, she pointed out that I hadn't brought the bag to the register and suggested I had probably left it in the aisle. Sure enough, that's exactly where it was. The manager's friendliness, attentiveness, and helpfulness made my visit especially enjoyable.

It was a first for me to walk into this auto parts store location in Nu'uanu, as I normally frequent the McCully location where the old Cinerama Theater used to be. Now if you remember the long lines of people waiting to see Star Wars at the Cinerama Theater, then you one OLD FUT like me! Buwahahahahahaha! I must say this O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Nu'uanu is by far the largest auto parts store that I've every walked into. Out of curiosity, when I was walking around in the store, I decided to check out the electronics section, and came across a Type-C Auxiliary Adapter that was looking for to hook up my smart phone to my stereo in my car, as my old stereo didn't have Bluetooth. Although the price was pretty reasonable at O'Reilly (about $16 - $20 bucks for one cable), I didn't need it right away & decided to look online at Ebay & I ended up getting four cables for just $6 bucks. Can we say DEALAGES Yo??? Lol! Although I didn't end up buying anything, but killed some good time, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here should I need something specific for my hot rod in the near future.

Five stars all the way!!…read more A special THANK YOU to Garrett and Kon for taking care of me, keeping me informed, and making what could have been a very scary inconvenience run as smoothly as possible. You guys are awesome!! :D This is the service center I've been using for repairs and maintenance, and every visit has been smooth and easy. I absolutely love my Tesla! Unfortunately, since getting it, I've had a few unfortunate situations that required me to reach out to Tesla Service. And man, I tell you... the ease of scheduling and communication is top-tier! I'm not someone who likes to be left in the dark when it comes to servicing my vehicle - especially when it had a high voltage battery system error alert going off every other minute while driving in westbound traffic! It was scary! Thankfully, I was able to get on the maintenance schedule within 5 days via Tesla mobile app. Garrett even asked me how I managed that because they were scheduling 1-2 months out, lol. I told him, "It was a miracle from God!" While my vehicle was going thru diagnostics, Garrett kept me closely informed through text/Tesla app messaging. Seriously, whenever I had a question, I was getting responses within 5-10 minutes! What other shop does that??? Amazing service. Estimated time of completion was 1-2 months, but thankfully, they completed the job within 2 weeks. Tesla's management of my vehicle's maintenance truly showed me that they value their customers' time, patience, and peace of mind. At no point during this whole ordeal did I feel like "just another number." I genuinely felt cared for and kept in the loop every step of the way. And I haven't even mentioned the call center, who hooked me up with a loaner vehicle at no charge! I simply called for an ETA prior to drop off, and Kon worked thru all other areas that I might need help. Wow. Good job, Tesla! Like I said - FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!

I often switch between Māpunapuna and Pūkōloa depending on availability. This past visit was to get my key replaced as it had reached the end of its life. I paid about $500 total for the part and service which is kind of steep - but worth it for reliability. I do also like that I can schedule and modify appointments online. Tip: availability will vary depending on if you are waiting for your car at the service location or if you have a ride. You have a better chance at getting an earlier appointment if you have a ride as they only have limited spots for those who are waiting.

She also scheduled the recall on my car since she saw it on file and went ahead and scheduled that too. I got a email and text confirmation right away after the call ended as well. One month later i go in for service to fix my trunk. The power struts or shocks was not working from what my friends told me what it sounded like so i already had a feeling my tab for today would be kind of high. In the morning before it opens - the door to pull into service is closed but you can drive up to the door until they open. Then they will tell you to drive in and take your info and look at your car. I was helped by raycine (?) she was really pleasant and asked the questions that was needed before she let me off with the loaner car. Then i met with another man off to the side where we chatted for a bit about cars and he mentioned that the older cars were more reliable than the new ones with all the technology in it. I was sent off with a corolla which the gas would need to be refilled after consumption. I eventually got a call maybe 20 minutes later and confirmed it was the shocks, but the part was at the warehouse so it may take the entire day or next morning if anything. i went ahead and gave them the go ahead since i already knew what to expect before my appointment. to my surprise it finished way faster than i thought. I dropped off my car at 7am, and picked it back up around 11:30 or Noon. Pickup was the same - you drive up to the service area and they'll take your loaner car from you. The same rep comes back to you upon arrival to explain the costs and checks you out at the cashier. The one thing i did not like was that they charge a 3% fee if you use a credit card (they did tell you this many times prior) but i think they should eat the cost for a large corporation like that. 3% is not a big deal when its a small amount but sometimes you might be paying a lot for what you're getting done. Also - on their website there was a 15% off coupon for parts that i was able to get applied to my bill.
