Before getting into the awful experience I endured with this dealership, let me just say that my experience with Joey Hammer and Ezell, sales consultants, was fantastic! Very professional, responsive, accommodating, and helpful. I appreciate the time they took in arranging the test drive. And when I finalized the deal the following day, they went out of their way to bring me the vehicle and explain all the bells and whistles. Two very stand up sales associates. If you absolutely have to do business with this dealership, I recommend requesting them in the future. Now for the awful part... Let's start with John, the manager. He was extremely rude and dismissive, very off-putting the way he spoke with my husband, who was merely trying to understand the rationale behind the trade in offer we received. Patronizing tone, awful interaction altogether. Why commit to the service industry if you're going to provide that kind of service? Disappointing experience to say the least, surprising from a well renowned brand like Kia. Now for the criminal part... Derek (Financing) sold me a certified pre-owned vehicle, advising me that the 10 year warranty was non-transferable. He then proceeded to sell me a 3rd party policy discounted from ~$4400 to ~$2800. My husband, who was out of town, was furious when he found out. Why? Because as it states on the Kia website, certified pre-owned vehicle warranties ARE TRANSFERABLE to the next owner. Do you know what that means? Arapahoe Kia is taking advantage of people, telling them lies and selling them 3rd party coverage on top of the coverage they already have. Everything was confirmed and aligned over three times, following a conference call with Kia and our bank. My husband had been in constant communication with salesman, Jim M., who confirmed outside financing with his manager. After we arrived today (45 minute drive from our home), waited for our salesman, took the car on a test drive, signed all of the necessary papers, waited longer (as Jim kept leaving without communicating where he was going), and were excited and ready to leave in said car- the manager said they do not accept outside financing after it was communicated to us that this was approved several times prior. No other options than to finance through Kia at a higher rate than what our bank offers. Extremely bad business and overall communication. Complete waste of time - several months of back and forth discussion, approvals, and waiting with the expectation of driving away in our family car, only to be extremely disappointed. Worst Possible Customer Experience EVER! (Aug. 14, 2025)…read more I ordered my tires from Walmart via their very own website. I also made my appointment for installation at Walmart Store #03566 (9400 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231) to occur the day after the tires were delivered. I received an automated email from Walmart when the tires were shipped and again when they were delivered. I took a half-day off from work to go to the appointment, driving 18 miles to get there. I checked my email multiple times before the drive. Like a good customer, I arrived a half-hour early. I walked up to the desk to a snarky young man in an L.A. Dodgers baseball cap. As soon as I gave him my name, he said, "Yeah...your appointment was cancelled." He said the tires had not been delivered. Knowing that my tires had been delivered, I stood my ground. He reluctantly wandered away and came back saying that they were there, but my appointment was still cancelled, and there was nothing I could do about it. I was furious and did not allow him to push me around. I had to go "full Karen" on him, demanding to talk to his manager. Eventually, another young man came out. He did not introduce himself as the manager until I asked if he was. (In fact, NOT ONE EMPLOYEE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS WEARING A NAME TAG.) The "manager" was very conciliatory and made sure that my new tires were installed in a hurry. I lingered in the waiting area in clear view of the service desk. Eventually, a technician told me that my car had been ready for a while. I went to the service desk, where a female cashier did the entire transaction without speaking one word to me. And the RETALIATION went further ... They saw that I am disabled, use a mobility device, and have disabled plates on my car. So they moved my car to a spot about a thousand feet from the bays. I demanded that they bring it to me. I checked the tires, and they all looked good until I ran the TPMS monitor from my steering wheel. THEY DID NOT RESET IT. So I pulled out the book and followed the instructions to RESET IT MYSELF. The tire pressure on all four tires is all over the place - 36 PSI on one, 27 on another, etc, not in line with the recommendation on the door sticker placed there by GM. Now I must take it elsewhere to get my tire pressures to the proper level. (BTW - the "manager" declares that the appointment was cancelled by the computer at the corporate level, and they do it all the time. I watched as they dismissed other single female customers with the same "your appointment had been cancelled" story.)

Starting with the great, the shop is nice and people are friendly. The work area was clean which is a good indicator of the care they'll put into your vehicle. The actual installation work in my car was good quality. Where things fell short is largely with communication. My install included a sub amp and an LC2i. The total cost, including parts as I did not provide any wiring kit, was $420. I believe 3 hours of this was for labor. I was okay with the price as it including all the install hardware and the install itself was done cleanly. However, I never received a quote or an estimate and was just told the total at the end when picking up the car. They finished at the end of their day and sent me on my way without really showing me what was done. Including where things were installed. The second lapse in communication is with the LC2i. When I dropped the car off I listed the components I had for them to install. They never called or asked where to install the LC2i or the amp. In my past experiences these ended up in the trunk so I didn't think I needed to be specific. They ended up putting the amp under the passenger seat, which is okay but not ideal. It's good that I can access the controls to tune the system but when the seat moves forward to let someone or my dog in the back seat, the amp is exposed to being stepped on if someone isn't careful. The LC2i unfortunately was hidden under the dash, like it's a high low converter. Leaving it completely inaccessible and i was unable to use any of the adjustments to tune it, or have easy access to the outputs for future expansion. I was disappointed that these locations were not seemingly thought through with accessibility in mind, and that I was not asked for preference before they decided to hide the lc2i. When I called back and spoke with Guy, he at first offered to move the lc2i for additional labor costs, but after hearing my concerns he graciously offered to schedule another appointment to have them relocate it free of charge. This was very positive and appreciated. I'm not always comfortable having someone "redo" work on a car, and instead offered to buy some additional gear so I could pay them to install those and have them move the lc2i while they were at it. They price matched/beat crutchfield on the items I wanted, which also great. But then the quote to install a jl audio rd400 and upgrade the component speakers in the front doors was $845 (for parts and labor). I had to decline the quote. I will say that while their prices ultimately aren't for my preference, the work was done well and they were reasonable when hearing my concerns. If you go with them, please over communicate instead of simply hoping for the best as I did and you should be left a happy customer.
