Beware of this dealership. Conned me into buying $2800 3rd party warranty for a pre-certified vehicle that already came with a 10 yr transferable warranty. Crooks, keep reading... Before getting into the awful experience I endured with this dealership, let me just say that my experience with Joey Hammer and Ezell, sales consultants, was fantastic! Very professional, responsive, accommodating, and helpful. I appreciate the time they took in arranging the test drive. And when I finalized the deal the following day, they went out of their way to bring me the vehicle and explain all the bells and whistles. Two very stand up sales associates. If you absolutely have to do business with this dealership, I recommend requesting them in the future. Now for the awful part... Let's start with John, the manager. He was extremely rude and dismissive, very off-putting the way he spoke with my husband, who was merely trying to understand the rationale behind the trade in offer we received. Patronizing tone, awful interaction altogether. Why commit to the service industry if you're going to provide that kind of service? Disappointing experience to say the least, surprising from a well renowned brand like Kia. Now for the criminal part... Derek (Financing) sold me a certified pre-owned vehicle, advising me that the 10 year warranty was non-transferable. He then proceeded to sell me a 3rd party policy discounted from ~$4400 to ~$2800. My husband, who was out of town, was furious when he found out. Why? Because as it states on the Kia website, certified pre-owned vehicle warranties ARE TRANSFERABLE to the next owner. Do you know what that means? Arapahoe Kia is taking advantage of people, telling them lies and selling them 3rd party coverage on top of the coverage they already have. Can you imagine how many people they've conned and continue to con? The world is sad enough, you have to take advantage of hard working people too? My advice? Don't buy a car from this dealership. We were initially very excited to purchase a new Kia Telluride from this dealership as our family car (we are currently expecting). My husband has been talking about it constantly for the past few months. Extremely dissatisfied with the service we received at Arapahoe Kia. My husband ordered our new vehicle through them, and coordinated financing through our bank alongside Kia. Everything was confirmed and aligned over three times, following a conference call with Kia and our bank. My husband had been in constant communication with salesman, Jim M., who confirmed outside financing with his manager. After we arrived today (45 minute drive from our home), waited for our salesman, took the car on a test drive, signed all of the necessary papers, waited longer (as Jim kept leaving without communicating where he was going), and were excited and ready to leave in said car- the manager said they do not accept outside financing after it was communicated to us that this was approved several times prior. No other options than to finance through Kia at a higher rate than what our bank offers. Extremely bad business and overall communication. Complete waste of time - several months of back and forth discussion, approvals, and waiting with the expectation of driving away in our family car, only to be extremely disappointed. This place is shit. Had to get my Kia towed here on 9/11 because the key got stuck in the ignition. They got they key out and ordered a new ignition. We paid $40 for overnight and it got here on 9/22. Then we had to wait for a key to be made for the car so we were told that he'd be done by the end of the day. Then we were called and told it would be done in the morning and we were first on the list. They open at 730a and the key guy just arrived at noon. read more

I bought a new Kia Telluride from Arapahoe Kia. I' live in California and was happy with the price. However, the car had a small cosmetic defect, which will cost about $1,500 to repair. The dealership keeps telling me to talk to "Kia Corporate" and has stalled for MONTHS in helping me get the repair made. Their customer service is terrible! Their customer rep: Morgan Hines, was rude and condescending on the phone. I would not use them again and suggest you do not also. read more

Service Center - Customer Service is nice to you but won't hesitate to price gouge you with a smile on their face. They charged me almost $300 for a battery replacement..... $165 for the battery which was anticipated, but $100 for labor to complete a task that takes 10 minutes, less time and complicated than an oil change, yet almost double the price. They didn't need to remove my wheel, they had easy access to the battery at the top of my engine. When I protested the cost being way above other locations and services, they agreed with me and yet did nothing. After this interaction I feel they care more about taking money from the consumer and not to promote repeat business. Be sure to call for quotes for ALL services and get the quote printed before they service you. I went in to get a recalled part fix, and requested my battery be changed since I was there thinking it was a no brainer, and I ended up paying $283 (with taxes and a misc $15 charge) , at the end of this ordeal and I regret not asking over the phone or getting the quote printed beforehand. I will not go back to this location again for their unreasonable price gouging. read more

Watch out for pretty despicable business practices. Really unfortunate because my sales person Jim was the best I ever had. Fast Eddie who runs the finance department did my closing. When he presented an extended warranty he showed me a $600 figure and a $620 figure and presented one as the basic and one as the premium. Everything is done paperless so when I got home and printed the deal given on a thumb drive the extended warranty was $2800 and the figures he showed me was my monthly payment with either option. When I called to complain I was told that they can't rewrite the loan but will refund the warranty to the lender. I expressed my displeasure to Fast Eddy and said I can't be the only one who figured it out. His response was yah it happens periodically. Sorry Jim. I can't I'm good conscience refer to you and subject anyone to such a calculated fraud. I had to edit dUe to response to my post. So you basically you admit you intentionally do not show the cost of a very expensive option by intent. Is this suppose to make it right?? I was never told this was my monthly payment I was told this is the cost of the warranty. For all those 4 plus star review I suggest you find your thumb drive and check to see if you were stuck with a $2800 option that you had no idea cost you that much. According to my after market insurance company a foreign substance was found to have been poured or spilled on my AC system behind the dash after these guys worked on my car. Resulting in about $6,500 in damage. I have no interest in debating this with a large company but thought it was worth noting. I did inform the tech that the AC was not working when I left but since it was winter I would need to wait until spring. Now I live in a different state and the issue is mine to resolve.. read more

My car has been there for 6 weeks. I was told it would take a couple weeks for repair. When calling the service department no one answers and they have you leave a voicemail which they only rarely return! Use another dealership!!! The sales team was not good, they were drinking alcohol while attempting to sell the vehicle. And when I decided to purchase the vehicle they told me okay we will get your vehicle set up for you instead they took it to the liquor store bought more alcohol and brought me my vehicle's same as is when I test drove it. No extra gas or nothing. The vehicle did all the work to impress me without their so-called sales team. And I purchased a warranty for my vehicles electric components and parts through them and they told me that this warranty is good to have because you have so many electrical parts. But they never told me that they don't cover a battery the most electrical part in the vehicle lol and they told me where to take my vehicle for the diagnosis then they told me I have to pay for it. SMH why send me something that is more expensive if you know your company is not going to cover it? Good job on lying and stealing from your customers. Haha y'all are a joke and I have been telling everyone about this experience. And Arapahoe Kia actually reached out to me after this post. And they let me know that they do not offer any warranty for your battery for vehicles that are over 32,000 miles. So if any of you want to have a warranty for your battery through this company you must buy a vehicle that is under 32k miles. And my vehicle is still at the certified mechanic that THEY had me take it to. So I have not had my vehicle that I am paying for from 2/17/2023 and still don't have it and today is 3/5/2023. Bravo Arapahoe Kia you tell people to go to your designated mechanics who are more expensive knowing you will not cover any of the charges. Your company is pathetic. read more

Spoke with Arapahoe Kia salesman C. Wilson on 2/10/22 re a 2022 KIA EV6 (Vin 30864), and I put a $500 deposit on the car the same day after he said it would be sold to me at MSRP plus standard dealer fee of $700. The vehicle was set to be delivered to the store on or about 2/24/22. On 2/12/22, I emailed Charlie due to issues I had read about where auto dealers were adding markups to cars after receiving customer deposits and wanted to confirm in writing with him that the car would be sold to me at MSRP plus dealer fee. He wrote back, "Thanks for your email. Yes, this EV Wind is held in your name at MSRP. So, it will be MSRP plus the dealer fee and taxes when it arrives here in about 10-14 days." I was near the store on 2/19/22 and stopped in to talk with Charlie and look at other EV6s that had already arrived at the store. Charlie then told me that his management had informed him that they were going to add $1,000 to the MSRP for my vehicle - regardless of our prior agreement. I then spoke with Sales Mgr. Mike Lubash who said that no matter my prior verbal and emailed agreement and $500 deposit for the vehicle at MSRP, the dealer would require me to pay an additional $1,000 over MSRP if I wanted the vehicle. I explained I had never stepped foot in a Kia dealership before, and this was certainly a horrible way to treat a first time Kia buyer - he did not care and was insistent that I pay the extra $1,000 or not buy the car, and even told me I didn't have a "contract" to purchase the car at MSRP, as if their verbal and emailed agreement was worthless - which ultimately it was (be aware). I told him I would not be buying the car or any other Kia for that matter. He really did not care in the slightest and only wanted the extra $1,000, and said that the Kia Dealership Mgr. C. Goodgain supported his decision to ask for the extra $1,000 regardless of me having a prior verbal and emailed agreement to purchase the car at MSRP. Funny thing is he tried to convince me the extra 1k was to cover an EV charger cord that I did not want, ask for, need, and it was not referenced in anyway in the car's window sticker. (I currently own an EV and don't need their 1k charger cord.) Plus the window stickers on the EV6s in their showroom now show a 1k "Denver Market Adjustment" and do not mention anything about an EV charger cord. Plus you can buy one for $200 if you really wanted/need one. Sounded a lot like adding "undercoating" or "pinstriping" to cars that buyers don't want or ask for. As for EVs - I'll stick with Tesla and the other more reputable dealers who actually care about their customer's buying experience and not draining every dollar out of them in a very dishonest way. The new/used car market will go back to the way it was prior to the current environment, and we customers will all remember which dealers took advantage of buyers in dishonest ways and those that remembered how to treat people fairly. read more

Went car shopping at this location a few weeks ago. I would not recommend this dealership as it left me feeling angry and bitter. I was interested in buying a car that day. The salesman who helped me, who's name I won't list was very helpful and an overall great person. He showed me a few options and all was well. I mentioned that this was my first day of shopping and I wanted to think it over during lunch with my family. Soon after, the manager came over to the table and said the most irritating thing. This manager completely ruined the deal that I may have made if I would have went to lunch. This manager told me to my face "that if I don't buy this car today, this employee may not eat or be able to feed his children tonight". I am just appalled that this man is in charge.
