Very nice place, we are lucky to have several auto parts stores on Carson City. I went in to have my Jeep scanned and they were very accommodating read more

I took my car to be scanned and Aiden was very helpful. What a nice young man! Professional, courteous, polite. I hate having car problems, but I will definitely go back to this Auto Zone the next time I need help or advice! Thank you, Aiden! read more

While they have everything, it might not be what you need. Was looking for windshield wipers, and found that they either had REALLY EXPENSIVE ones or cheap ones. Nothing in the middle. Who wants to pay $60-80 for a PAIR of wipers. I ended up going somewhere else. Was specifically looking for Rainx Latitude Wipers. Clean. Nice. Friendly. read more

My 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport took the factory rear differential oil, they went over in above to go to Honda and get me what I needed, they were cheaper than me purchasing it from Honda. The Manger Logan was very polite and helpful to all my needs. read more

I love this AutoZone in Carson City! Have stopped by numerous times on my way through town. The staff is always engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is always clean, well-organized and stocked. Highly recommend!! read more

Staff were extremely rude and disrespectful at checkout. Younger guy asked for phone number for the rewards/savings. My phone number didn't work. He proceeded to make a completely sexist and disrespectful joke, "Last time I dated a girl, I changed my number too." The other guys in the back proceeded to laugh and cheered him on for a good joke. I was completely dumb struck by his immaturity and disrespect. Will not be supporting this business again!!! Women should not feel degraded or disrespected when they are just trying to take care of their car, let alone make a simple purchase as a paying customer. Incredibly dissatisfied with this service. read more

Didnt have what was needed but ordered it. Took longer than expected to arrive which was disappointing but it ended up resolving the issue so overall happy. read more

so I went to auto zone yesterday on Williams at in Carson city and two employees with grey shirts on were sitting outside in the parking lot making out I didn't say anything I went in an went about my business so the female whose tag said Ashley was my check out I didn't mention the parking lot incident I was just checking out an she was really rude my autistic son son was with me an she was stemming she kept rolling her eyes and scoffing an so I tried to hurry up and leave an as I was leaving she mumbled under a breath "fu**ing retard" she's very rude and if she don't like her job maybe she should find something else she enjoys calling a autistic child a ding retard is way out of line she's luck I was in a hurry an didn't knock her teeth out. read more

Rob and Logan were awesome, great customer service. They went out of their way to do a diagnostic on our check engine light. We have to drive to Oregon today, on a holiday weekend Their help was pivotal in making our trip home safely. Thanks Auto Zone!! read more

My car broke down on my way from Reno to Carson and I had to get it towed. I don't know anything about cars but I spent the next few days trying to google everything I could to figure out what was going on. I called some mechanics, they all said I probably blew my head gasket which would be incredibly expensive to fix. I thought for sure my car was toast. I took my parents car to autozone to pick up some coolant, just to fill up my car enough to get to the mechanic the next day. While at autozone, the guys working were so incredibly nice! They all told me to go home and get my car and bring it so they could take a look. I went and got my car, and I think the mans namewas Daniel? Who helped me. Not only did he spend time working in my engine, but he was explaining everything as he was going so that I could learn some things. He ended up fixing the problem, didn't charge me for anything other than the coolant I bought, and I was on my way! Being a young woman, going to the mechanic is usually a frustrating experience. I have been taken advantage before, where mechanics have told me things were broken that needed fixing, but when I got a second opinion it turned out they weren't broken after all. I really appreciate you guys at autozone for helping me out! read more

Staff were friendly and helpful at this location. The one associate even had a sense of humor when dealing with myself and the customer in front of me. I was disappointed that they were out of my normal oil filter but I was able to find a supplement that will still function the same. I stopped in on this visit because of their oil change special which was a good deal. From their normal price of a 5 quart jug, if you buy a filter it actually discounts the price to lower than what just the jug would cost. It's like getting paid to take an oil filter with your purchase...no problem with that! The real reason this place is always a cut above their competition is their rewards program, 5 $20 purchases and you earn a $20 store credit. And since their prices are comparable to other local stores the value can't be beat!! read more

I cannot throw enough stars at this place, and in particular, one of the employees there, named Alex! I was passing through town yesterday when I had a minor headlight issue that needed to be replaced before we continued on our way. I called a couple auto repair shops in the area, but every one of them needed 4-5 hours to find the part and then were going to charge at least one hour of labor. Now, I'm not going to say anything bad about those other shops, because I understand that they were busy and that we showed up with no appointment, but when I called up this AutoZone location, they were EXTREMELY helpful! Alex, the employee who helped us out, was not only friendly and knew exactly what I needed to fix the issue, he even stepped outside and helped us with a problem that should have been pretty simple, but that we had over complicated to the 'nth degree. I'll spare you the details, suffice to say that Alex was able to diagnose the problem and solve it in pretty short order, thus saving us having to drive an hour round trip to Reno to get it fixed. To top it off, I tried to throw him a $20 bill as a way to thank him for his time, and he just laughed and basically said that there was no way he was accepting my money for the help. Although I would have loved to have bought him a beer for all the time and stress he saved us, the dude was like, "Na man, this is just what I do." So alas, he saved us a lot of time and stress and wouldn't even accept a little under the table money... This is the second time I've been into an AutoZone (not in the same location), and both times I've received the absolute best customer service imaginable. I cannot recommend the place enough. Oh! And I don't know what they're paying Alex, but give that dude a raise! He's absolutely top notch! read more

Had to get a new windshield wiper for my wife's VW, Tiguan and they made the purchase stress free. They selected the item and even installed it for free during a snow storm. Definitely a top notch customer service and amazing employees! read more

I was in there yesterday 6/5/23 to get a new battery for my push start subie, well first off NOT like the key fobs with a key!! Sooo much more difficult. Gordon Steeve's helped me and explained what needed to be done, eather battery could be replaced or I'd have to get it reprogrammed at the dealership. Took him 15 mins to replace the battery cuzz it was such a hassle more like a puzzle to say the least. Mind you they dnt have to replace the battery for you, jst sell you it. Gordon did it with no problem. I am soo thankful cuzz I woodov gave up in 3 mins lol. It's so nice to have Gordon working at autozone. Such a nice and patient guy! THANK YOU so much Gordon ur truely one of the few that rock at there jobs!!!!! I'll definitely be bck when I need key fob battery replaced.... read more

I was just in there about 15 mins ago at the south carson store looking for a battery cable.... I was taken to the cable section which is great but the person helping me told me to look at them for a few minutes then walked away to help other customers when i was there needing help. I had alot of questions she asked one of the cashiers about it he just pointed at them and didn't even acknowledge me. She told me to just check the length of the cable then walked out of the store that was extremely rude and I've been going there since 2016. I'm sorry I was only spending about $10 for a cable but I'll be taking my business else where from now on. read more

Though the rating is low, I really love this AutoZone. However, my experience there on Saturday, May 15th was terrible. The parts supervision manager, Dave T was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my entire life. I was demeaned, laughed at, and mocked my this man while trying to buy myself some brakes. This store is lucky I stayed to make the sale because I was one snarky comment away from storming out. The best part is that I went in with all the correct part numbers and he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and not to tell him how to do his job. If you ever see this miserable man, find someone else to ring you up. But I would like to restate, this AutoZone has always been helpful. This bad apple does not represent there company at all. read more

Recently went here to get a new battery. At first Lizbeth checked my battery and told me I needed a new one. Checked out with her and went to change it in the parking lot. Having a newer vehicle they make it harder and harder to get the batteries out of the vehicles. I went back in to ask for a little assistance and Lizbeth had left and I now was talking to Dave. Dave was beyond rude and had terrible customer service. Did not provide any help and just continued to talk down to me. Dave needs to be in the back stocking the store and away from any public interaction. I never write reviews unless the customer service is trash and that what it was. I want to give it 1 star but Lizbeth was nice and helpful so I'll give it 2. Definitely will not be coming back here. Just go across the street to O'reillys and spare yourself having to talk to Dave. read more

This auto parts store is further away from me than others, but their customer service is normally worth the extra drive today however absolutely unbelievable the clerk was not only rude and sarcastic but when I said I get a veterans discount he said to me you "GET"? you'll get what I give you!!! How dare someone talk to a veteran this way extremely poor choice of employee never again read more

Great team, great store and an incredible District Manager by the name of Karina who works hard and incredibly long hours at every store, almost every day to keep the employees educated, motivated and working as a team to keep hard working class people on the road. read more

unhelpful, lazy, very angry when I left there today. Would not come outside to my car to assist me with a simple lightbulb issue. Will NEVER go to this AutoZone again. read more

Awesome service! I had purchased a power steering pump over a year ago and ended up in a head on collision and never got to replace the part. The receipt went with the vehicle and I was stuck with the pump. The management at the store was gracious enough to honor the warranty and refund my money. Won't shop anywhere else!
