Came in with some questions. I bought some pads, rotors. When I had got home I realized they had sold me the wrong parts. I was upset over the whole situation and ended up leaving. I went by in the evening and was pleasantly greeted by staff. They were very helpful, considering I came near closing and had absolutely no clue about where I could possibly find anything or what product was for what. Flatbush avenue autozone is not helpful one bit whatsoever. Another autozone employee was trying to help me find a tool for rent that said was available on the computer and he was told to stay on then phone for 20 minutes just to be hung up on. He called again and tried to help but this time they answered rudely and said they didn't have it when they didn't even try to. My cars been down for a long time and i just needed some help, however i couldn't receive it. read more

Had a great experience yesterday with the ever so helpful Shani. I love how professional, knowledgeable and helpful she was. Although there were at least 4-5 other employees working at the time, it appears that everyone was waiting to be assisted by Shani. She was extremely nice and helpful. She tested my battery and was very instrumental in helping me to choose a replacement battery. I almost got stuck with the manager, Val, who apparently is there ONLY to get a check and is clearly not interested in being courteous nor helping the customers. Val appeared impatient and not helpful at all to me nor any of the other customers. I'm so grateful Shani was there yesterday. If she wasn't there I would have definitely left the store and headed to another auto zone location. Thanks for your hard work Shani! I appreciate you!!! read more

How can people allow the,selves these days, when online reviews become so powerful, to treat customers like I was treated in this auto zone. All I needed was a new box (plastic cover) for my remote control (ford mini van). But the attitude I got here was something that worth a review. If you don't have what I need, just say so, and if you think that I am not clear, or my accent is not clear enough that also fine, but you are there to help, and I am customer. And when I show someone a broken plastic remote, and say that I need a new one, what does it has to do with my accent? If someone come to auto zone, and show a broken remote. I don't normally leave reviews at all for any store but I felt as if I had to today. After experiencing bad, careless and lazy service from AutoZone in Coney Island Ave I was in such of a new place to change and test my car battery. I was recommended to head over to this AutoZone of Flatbush. Spoke with Gustavo over the phone, I can tell his wiliness to help over the phone and in person. This helped me regain confidence with AutoZone, well at least for this location. Gustavo was very busy with customer and needed me to wait a bit but made sure he communicated with me to let me know he didn't forget me and make sure he got right over to me when he finally had the chance. He was such a great help. Tested my car battery and alternator. He also was very kind to have replaced the battery. As busy as he was he never rolled his eyes, acted stressed out, complained, etc.... Gustavo was very kind to me in every way. We even had a few laughs. Thank You again Gustavo and I'm sure your customers will be having the same experience as I had. Your wiliness and drive to do the right things for your customers will take you to far places in life. read more

Please do yourself a favor and avoid going here. It has been quite a while since I have been treated to such horrible customer service. We went there for a simple headlamp change for our car and unfortunately met the rudest cashier ever. He made zero effort to help us which I would take personally however it seems to be his normal operating style as the gentleman before us received the same complete lack of care. Cannot believe the service I received at this Auto Zone! I went there to return a faulty starter and was given such a hard time. The manager, Mohammed, told me to go to another Auto Zone to return the part because he didn't want to take a loss. He said he could do the return but wanted me to go out of my way to a different store to do the return. I told him to do the return there, and he said he would do it but he never wanted me to come to that store again. After he told his employee to do the return, he then told his employee to test the starter to make sure it did not work, or else he wouldn't do the return. The employee tested the starter 3 times and determined it wasn't working. Mohammed couldn't really say much else and finally okay the return. Unbelievable the mess they put me through. read more

I'm actually on line trying to pay for an air freshener. It's too bad you can't give a zero as a rating. Besides the fact I walked in to the store and was truly ignored and not acknowledged. I helped myself to figuring out what spray paint I needed to cover some scuffs on my Honda Odyssey. I accidentally asked a lady who works here, excuse me, I disturbed her by asking her what spray paint I need to fix my issues on my vehicle. I'm showing her the pic of my car on my cellphone, but, she's too busy marking items with a pricing gun to pay attention to the CUSTOMER. I asked her what paint should I use for my car ? Without even looking at my phone her answer was, I don't know!!!... in a very arrogant manner. You know, the guy who might buy something, the guy who has your paycheck in his pocket. It's really sad that you have to encounter such horrible customer service by miserable employees. But, it gets better. I'm on line as we speak.... The guy behind the counter has taken to customers ahead of me already , I'm about to blow up but I really need this air freshener. I paid for my item, don't get a bag and I don't get a thank you. How on Earth do you hire people like this? I will never step foot in this AutoZone again... I'll take my business and my money elsewhere! Oh and by the way... Coming here after being stuck on the road, and CSR #82 (Indian looking guy) was so rude from the beginning. I needed a battery after mine died. This man stated that nobody could put it in for me which takes two min. After I bought the battery he expected me (a young lady) to pick up the battery myself. John A was outside at the moment and was God sent. He not only gave me the tools for me to put in the battery, he checked my car for other issues. He went over and beyond for Customer Service. I went back into the store and the rude Big Indian looking guy sat and complained and cursed out loud about John A. Helping me! John A. was just doing his job!!! I will never go back to this store again as long as this CSR #82 is working there. John A should be manager of that store because he truly knows what customer service is. read more
