If you come I would recommend in the early afternoon 11-2p to avoid rush hour, or come later in the evening. When I was there I only saw 2 ppl working, but they were hustling to help customers at the register. There was a short wait, but I didn't trip...there were only 2 ppl so.... They had the part I needed, although the worker almost gave me the wrong part, realized his mistake and gave me the right one. He was friendly and helpful. Don't come here not knowing what you need. If you need a part, go online first and see what you need before you make the trip. It will make it easier when you get to the store. Outside looks a bit cluttered with discarded auto parts, not very clean. It's because ppl fix their cars in the parking lot, and don't clean up. The area might seem sketch cuz it's right by the BQE overpass, and there are mechanic shops nearby, but you'll be fine it's safe. Be wary of ppl who offer to fix whatever issue you have with your car. They hangout in the parking lot. They may break your and they're not affiliated with AutoZone, so buyer beware.

So I brought the bike back to brooklyn and to Edgewares. The owner of the shop stopped what he was doing to come take a cursory look. When the battery was fizzing he knew there was a bigger issue so instead of promising a quick turn around he said he wanted to find the real problem but it could take time, and he'd follow up with an estimate. I appreciated the quick review and honest timeline. I got a call later that he had discovered some glitchy wires that may have also been shorting the battery and he had contacted rad wagon and found it. It was under warranty and was able to get me a replacement bike. I was floored! I was happy to pay for set up of the new bike as they had put a lot of time into it. When I realize I had forgotten the key lock for the battery when picking up the new bike they came to my house a mile and a half away to pick it up. It was incredible customer service. I have two ebikes and kid bikes and this place will be my go to for servicing in the future !

They told me to bring the car in to take a look, and they were able to do it in 1-2 hours. They were even willing to use the third-party door handle I got off Amazon. After I got the call that it was done, I immediately decided to get the other rear door handle replaced as well since it was also having problems and the Amazon handles came as a pair. Chang's was affordable, efficient, and professional! It reminded me of the auto garage my dad had for decades before retiring. I would most definitely use Chang's again!
